A Fragment From The Past

When I was about to leave, tears were streaming down to my cheeks and thorns filled my heart. Everything was so painful not until I felt his touch— Gazaria.

"You don't need to go Ellenia," Gazaria said and looked at me straight in the eye.

"It can't be you Gazaria, it is I who must leave this land," she said. Both of them knew how badly they wanted to stay there together, but sadly after casting the spell the cannot.

"I can't live without you, my love," Gazaria said as a lone tear fell from his emerald eye and he tightened his hold on Ellenia's hand.

"And neither of us will live if I don't leave this land, you have to stay for history is about to repeat, and they shall make amends in our wrongdoings," Ellenia said and was about to leave when Gazaria claimed her lips.

The two exchanged kisses before finally bidding farewell. Then Ellenia woke up from the dream, how she wished it was just a dream, but sadly it was a fragment of her memory. She wiped the tears that fell from her eyes while she was asleep.

Slowly went out of bed carrying the pain in her heart. Until now, it hurts her, for the both of them knew all they wanted was the same thing Farah is wanting— simplicity. Ellenia took a deep breath before going into her magic room.

She went in front of her cauldron, used her potion to play a specifically memory of hers... Gazaria's confession.

"Ellenia, wait for me, I have to tell you something," Gazaria said from the cauldron while Ellenia sat on her chair as she plays that memory.

Ellenia turned her gaze to Gazaria and smiled, "yes, what is it?"

Gazaria took a deep breath and showed a necklace with a crescent moon as its pendant, "I want you to have this, a symbol of the things I'm about to tell you next."

"Uhm, what are you saying?" Ellenia asked and recieved the necklace.

"Ellenia, I know it's only a few weeks since the first day we met, but I can't deny this no longer," Gazaria began and smiled at Ellenia.

"I want you to know that, it is you who makes my heary wild in every gesture you do. It is you who makes my body burn with your simple touch. You are the reason why I already smile at the day and you are the reason why I want to be better. I want you to feel the same way as I do," Gazaria said and played with Ellenia's hair.

"Ellenia, I took all my bravery just so I could say that I love you and I am—" he didn't get to finish what he was about to say when Ellenia claimed his lips and wrapped her arms around his neck.

They kissed one another with joy flooding their lungs, Ellenia broke the kiss and smiled at Gazaria, "I love you too, Gazaria."

"R-really? Like you really love me?" Gazaria asked and Ellenia rolled her eyes before speaking.

"A moment ago, you want me to feel the same way, now you are asking that," Ellenia said and chuckled.

Gazaria as well chuckled and replied, "I mean I am not dreaming aren't I? This is all real right?"

Ellenia nodded and laughed, "I love you, Gazaria."

"I love you too, Ellenia."

Then the vision on the cauldron faded away and a lone tear escaped Farah's eye. She took a deep breath and used a potion to see what is about to happen. Ellenia poured the green liquid on the cauldron and began chanting.

"Make me see what cannot be, expand my limits and let me envision its possibility, open my eye greater than theirs, show me what danger she will face!"

Green smoke the filled the room and as if Ellenia transported on some place. She turned into an apparition and went to the future. Ellenia saw a man freeing four person on a cage.

"Farah isn't the last Phoenix... Ysandria still kept the leaders," Ellenia said as she watch what is to be.

Things then went faster and she saw that the man's plan to rescue the other remaining Phoenixes is on the verge of success not until Ysandria herself, found out and the man who saved them, is the man who'll sacrifice his life. "Gazaria, welcome him in your eternal life in the lost forest and let him rest, he is good," Ellenia said as she watch a dark man turned light in his last breath.

The smoke was then vacuumed by the cauldron itself. Ellenia was about to use her magic for something important when she heard Farah's scream.

"Help me!"
