Chapter 26: The Revenge (Part 1)

As we arrived, Delinda approaches me, and she asks me to make a double date. Honestly, a double date is a mess! People will ignore their couple while were they double date, and you know who pays for the meal. Me. "Hey, are you okay?" I nodded. "I'm fine," It's not a problem to pays meal for four people, but honestly, I want to write, but she is pregnant so, I shouldn't let her down, or she will destroy my nose.

"Excuse me, Ms. Gabriela." I looked at the manager of this hotel, "you want the dessert to come out now?" I took a glance at her, "no, I need to discussing something with my associate. Wait for my sign." He nods.

After the announcement, I got a lot of wishes, but every public figure has haters. It's Indonesia. They also have rights. What about my mom after I announce the proposal? She calls me to meet her at my second house. My dad also calls. I need to meet him first. After this date, I'll be busy with the wedding and Sam.

Hanks already did to check my car, and he said my car is clean. Thank God, but he will search who was following us, "are you still thinking about the car?" I shook my head, "no, I'm listening to Delinda's advice because she was a wife among the wives," I eat my steak. "So, you want to my advice as a 'husband,' Lobak? I can give it to you," I shook my head.

"Your advice is useless for me. I know you are a good man, Ga, But please, you are average Indonesian typical husband, right?" He laughs, "you were right, like to talk about the first night, and you know," I sighed. "I appreciate it, honestly." I took a glance at Rose. "So, what do you want to talk about?" I'm scratching my cheek.

"This guy," I gave her a text message, "he messages me, and he not sure that my company existed, but I replied to him, this." Delinda grabbed my phone, and she read the message. "I'm sorry, it's my fault that I'm not explaining to him. Do you want to meet him? He's nice and handsome. I wish I can be his wife." I looked at her husband.

"Can you get me a concert ticket for TVXQ?" I shook my head, "you are my friend. You can buy it with your wage, right?" Rose hugs my arms, "can I buy clothes?" I nodded. "You are my wife," she kissed my cheek.

"That's unfair," I sighed, "you can ask your husband, he next to you," he nods, "I can search it, don't worry." Delinda sighs, "Hey, we're not a couple again..." She stands up and runs. "I'll talk to her," I nodded. I took a deep breath and continue my eating. "It not bother you?" I looked at him. "No, I understand because of her hormone," he hums.

I don't like this situation, "listen, mate." I put my fork and knife, "I'm her ex, I understand her, she loves you, that's all you need to know. But this relationship it's new to her! Let her adjust and be patient. And don't you dare to cheat from her, Angga. You know who is me" he nods.

"I'm tired, honestly." That's new, "I want to divorce her, Lobak. She still loves you," I sighed. "You're right. Delinda and I are cheating behind your back. I felt guilty about it, and I'm sorry." I'm smiling. "It's the past, Angga, Don't regret what you did," I sighed.

"Listen, she loves you," Angga laughs, "why?' I shrugged my shoulders, "so why were you marrying her then? If she is still in love with me, why would she accept your proposal? Why did she not chasing after Rose as Eva, Jane, and Sam did?" He was stunned by my answer. "When you met her, what did you think, honestly?" He looks at me.

"If you knew that she's mine, why would you did that?" He shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know either, Angga. I'm waiting for her until midnight to chatting with her, and I disappear for two months, and she was not trying to contact me," Angga looked at me, "the reason you guys came to my house is not that your babies, but it's because of you right? You feel guilty!" He nods.

"Does she tells you?" I shook my head, "I'm observing your home schedule. You came when we were asleep, but Delinda hasn't slept yet. You said you're a driver, but you can't drive a car." I took a deep breath, "I know you're kind, so please, I'm asking you to go home and living a normal life," Angga sigh, "I don't know what to say," I sighed.

"We both adult now, Angga. You advance one year older than me." I sighed. "You should tell her what you feel. I don't want to get involved because I'm not the problem, but both of you were the problem," I saw Rose and Delinda approaching us, "Hey, what are you guys talking about?" I took a glance at Angga. "From Harley Davidson to Yamaha," he nods.

"I don't know she likes BMW motorcycles," I nodded, "you guys ready for dessert?" I looked at Rose, "I think we should get going," I nodded, "well," I stand up. "I'll go for pay the meals." I rub her shoulder as I walked to the cashier. Honestly, I can ask the waiters to come, but I want to give my future wife to talk to them.

I sit in my office, and I'm looking at my picture. I change the picture, I sighed. It's supposed to be fun, but why this happens!? "Hey," I'm looking at Rose, "can I come in?" She is still in her dress, "yeah, sure." She comes in as she closes the door. "You were not talking about a motorcycle, don't you?" I nodded.

"Let him talked to Delinda, Rose. It's not our business, anyway" she nods. "You were right," she sits on the couch, "you want to work?" I'm scratching my cheek. "I'm talking to Delinda," I nodded, "what does she say?" I approach her and sit next to her, "she said Delinda, tries to accept fate. I understand that, but why does she feel guilty!?" I'm slapping my cheek. Mosquitos.

"Regret comes late, Rose" she nods. I hugged her hip, "you look beautiful with that dress, Rose. I admit that you were beautiful." she looks at me. "What's wrong with Ms. Jekyll?" I sighed. "It sounds like, What's Wrong With Secretary Kim," she laughs, "I'm serious," I nodded. "I ask him to go home to their place," she looks at me.

"They were stays here, not because their babies want it, but Angga feel guilty," Rose hums, "I mean, is that the right decision to make, Rose? Ask them to leave? I mean, they were married, right?" She nods.

"I agree with you, but you ask them politely, Lobak" I nodded, "I'm already asking them politely, Rose. Why were you thinking I'm not asking them politely?" She sighed. "I'm sorry," I rub her shoulder. "I'm tired of these dramas," I nodded. "Me too," I took a deep breath, "what about we disappear?" She looks at me, "it's Thursday," I'm smiling, "you want to ride a motorcycle with that dress?" She nods.

"I want, but what about Sasha? She has a vet visit for Flea, right?" I nodded. "What if we sleep in the basement? Not turning on the light, but we lit a candle, no phone?" She nods. "Piggyback," I'm smiling. "Okay," she jumps into my back.

I lay my body next to her, we not doing anything, she still in her dress, and I am still in my suit. "Can we make it?" I nodded. "We can make it," I hold her hand tight and hugged her. "I want to fight for you too, Lobak, I want it," I looked at her eyes, "lets we fight for each other, okay?" She nods.

This night, we feel happy. We don't know what comes next, but "Hey," Rose hums, "what if we gather our family, private dinner?" She smiles. "Sure. I want to say to you like that," I nodded. We closed our eyes. Good night, Mi Amor. Sweet dream.
