Chapter 3: It Just Had To Be A Tsundere

With my sudden transformation everyone began to huddle around me. Minus Gogo who was still on the floor. They all seemed to have forgotten that it was me that looked like a toddler.

"Awwwww. I just want to pinch your cheeks!" Squealed Rikiwari.

"Come on, say Scar for me. S-c-a-r."

If it wasn't for this amazing pacifier that was already in my mouth. I swear I would be cursing the hell out of them. Damn, didn't know I was this short tempered.

"Students, move out of the way or detention for every one of you. Now as for this.." Said Mr. Anton picking me up.

Thank you so much! I thought you were scary but I'm so happy to know that you have some sense in you.

"Oh look at you! Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?" Anton asked.

Anton acted completely different as if seeing me as a toddler warmed his cold heart. This attitude change was even more annoying to where I gave him a good uppercut. The punch sent him in a backflip dropping me.

"Okay listen here! If another one of you acts all giddy with me again I will burn you to a crisp. You guys are so annoying that I'd rather die than try to tolerate it." I said tearing the pacifier out of my mouth. I used the pacifier to point at them as I spoke.

All of them looked at me like I didn't say a word. From the look in their eyes it seemed like all I did was do something cute like try and reenact a scene. Seeing this I snapped and used my gravity manipulation on all of them. When I did they all screamed in agony which made me release it as quickly as possible.

Shit, is it so when I'm in this form my powers are even stronger? I mean that would explain the different spell and my gravity manipulation to hurt that much. If that's the case then that means my transformation wasn't a mistake. But seriously, a toddler? Why couldn't have been something cooler or hotter than I could have turned into?

"Anyway... With this new development I say we postpone pretest till tomorrow yes? I think it best if we return to class for the day." Said Anton trying recompose himself.

"Come here. Let me carry you to class." Said Rikiwari, trying to pick me up.

"Eww, why would I do that?" I asked, smacking her hands away.

"Ummm... Mister Shun. Would you mind if I carried you to class?" Asked Saki nervously.

"The mister feels a little out of place but sure. I will allow it. On one condition and that is that you must play with my hair." I demanded.

Saki aggressively nodded her head with eyes that made you think she just won the lottery. We walked together back to the class with Saki carrying while playing with my hair. And Rikiwari quietly crying to herself in the back.

"Hey Anton come here." I called.

"Yes? How may I help you?" Anton asked ecstatically.

I swear he is like a giant, terrifying, cuddly teddy bear.

"Do you have any idea why I transformed like this?"

"That's a great question. It's hard to say since it seemed to abrupt and forced to be a failed spell. If I were to make educated guess I would say it's from a bond. Why don't you ask parents when you get home?" Anton suggested.

Now that sounds like the worst possible outcome. If it's a bond that makes me transform into toddler then there's nothing I can do about it. Meanwhile if it's from a spell I messed up. Then I just have to not mess up next time. Problem solved.

Once we were inside the classroom Anton just let us have the rest of the time to ourselves. I sat on the table with Saki playing with my hair and defending me from Rikiwari. I still have no idea what happened to Gogo. He might honestly still be out there. While Scar and Maki were playing video games together.

This is honestly the best opportunity to think about this. Since apparently I can transform into a toddler. It's reassuring to know that my clothes shrink with me. However this pacifier and bib just appeared out of nowhere. And while shrunk my powers seemed to be doubled maybe even tripled.

*POOF*

"Hey, look who's back." Shouted Scar.

Oh thank god it's only temporary.

"Since you're back could you please go back to your seat." Said Anton sounding disappointed.

Good to know that I only have special treatment when I am in toddler mode.

Saki reached out her hand to continue giving me head scratches. I quickly reacted and grabbed her wrist stopping her.

"W-what's wrong?" Asked Saki worried.

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean to grab you like that. I just feel weird when people play with my hair." I responded blushing.

"But when you were small you basically demanded me to."

"Yeah and you were extra mean to me." Said Rikiwari pouting.

"Good to know that baby me has some taste at least." I responded.

I remember that I basically ordered her to play with my hair. Which is why I'm even confused as to why I am being defensive about it. This whole thing is getting even weirder.

Well luckily for me class continued pretty uneventfully. Which in a regular day I think I would be pretty bumbed about but since this day has been hectic enough. I need a break. And thankfully I got it with this free period. With time having passed it is now time for my favorite part of the school day. Lunch.

The class made it's way down there as a group. And let me tell you. If I was to walk there alone I would have gotten lost six times over because of how unnecessarily big this school is. And with that being said it felt like the cafeteria was even larger. The whole place looked like it was taken from a fantasy novel. It was designed like a royal dinning hall that gets fancier the further down you go.

"This is huge!" I exclaimed.

"What, you never seen a cafeteria before?" Asked Scar.

"Home schooled actually." I responded.

I made my way towards the table and was about to sit down before Maki yanked me by my arm.

"Are you insane!?" He quietly yelled at me.

"It's lunch. I don't see the problem."

"The problem is that you were about to sit at a table with regular people. We don't have the title to sit there."

Maki pulled me over to the corner of the room closest to the door. There were wooden benches and tables set up. They looked as if you would get a splinter just by looking at them. Sat there was our entire class.

"I don't get it. Last time I checked I was a noble. Plus I'm not the only noble in our class."

"Yeah our actual ranks don't hold any value here when you are in the misfit class. At school our class ranking holds more value than anything." Saki explained.

"So I have to eat lunch like this until I get out of this class?"

"Pretty much. But come on, you don't want to get rid of us that badly now do you?" Asked Scar rhetorically, hitting my back pretty hard.

Once we all sat down servers came out with the food. Sadly our table got Styrofoam plates with some questionably looking food. Meanwhile everyone else got really good looking food. Especially class A got served an absolute feast.

AH THIS IS SO UNFAIR! I want food. Please. I will do anything for some good food right about now.

"Hey Shun, I brought you a plate of some of the food we got." Said Sarah from behind me.

"You are a saint. You bring peace, love, and justice wherever you go." I said a I got down on one knee in front of her.

"Enough with the theatrics Shun. Take the food. This is to thank you for this morning."

"Sarah please. You don't have to thank me for anything." I said as I took the plate.

FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD.

"I don't understand how someone like you could be apart of the misfit class." Sarah said with a tone of disappointment.

"These people aren't half bad. They easily could be apart of that. I just think that they weren't showcased well enough."

"Well I'll take your word for it."

"Ugh, I can't believe that there's a mutt feeding a misfit. Of all the things. People truly have no class." Snickered a student at one of the lower tables.

"I agree. What is the headmaster thinking making the school a demon and doggy daycare. It's just going to drop the prestige of this fine school." Snickered another.

"Usually I would ignore that. But with what happened earlier. It's just something about that daycare line. Could you maybe repeat that to me please?" I asked 'politely', slamming their table.

I leaned in closer to one of their faces. The ones that snickered were terrified. It seemed that they weren't used to people challenging them since their titles usually protected them.

"Shun, it's not worth it." Said Sarah putting her hand on my shoulder.

From a table put at the absolute front a girl stood up from her seat. She had cyan hair that was put up in a bun with glasses. She was well put together and held herself with power. Her midnight blue eyes penetrated my soul.

"Does there seem to be an issue?" She asked.

"Yes. It seems to me that some students don't know how to act." I responded.

"I wasn't speaking to you misfit. Does there seem to be an issue attendant?" She asked again looking at Sarah.

"Attendant?"

"No your highness. There is no issue. These three were just getting acquainted with each other." Responded Sarah with a bow.

"I see one too many issues with this."

"Shun, not the time." Sarah said hitting my arm.

"Nah nah nah, someone can explain to me what's going on here. Especially what this 'attendant' business is." I said stepping forward.

"Do you seriously not know who you are disrespecting at this very moment!?" Aggressively asked a guy who sat next to her.

"Thank you. However, I can handle this on my own, you may be seated. I am Princess Alena Wataf. And that young lady who is stood next to you is my attendant. Since a Princess couldn't be asked to remember names I call people what they are. Misfit." Alena said acting as if the conversation was over.

"Why are you sitting down so soon? Too afraid to hear what I have to say now Alena?" I said taking another step.

With all the anger that built up inside of me. My gravity manipulation went off on her. As she noticed the red glow in my eyes her eyes began to glow as well. An icy shill began to crawl down my spine.

"Now this looks like fun. Mind if I join?"

The tension between us breaks and we look over at who spoke. It was a boy who didn't look any older than ten. He wore our same uniform but in black.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Oh me? I'm Noah. I'm kinda like apart of our student council. And I was tasked to break up this cool scene right here. Which is omega lame." Noah said really bumbed about it.

"It's good to see that the members of our student council have some sense to come and dissolve the issue." Alena said taking her seat.

"Ah yes, the issue that you blew out of proportion." I responded.

"Ewww. A who's fault is it situation. Either way I kinda need the misfit to come with me so if you don't mind." Said Noah taking my hand.

"Do what you must."

As Alena finished her response everything around me began to stretch vertically. And the next thing I knew I was in a new room with Noah.

The room I stood in looked the nicest out of anything I saw in the whole school. So it looks like in the actual hierarchy, the student council has more power here than the royal family. Meaning if I don't want to be kicked out of the school I just got in. I probably shouldn't make them mad.

"Want a cookie?" Noah asked taking out a huge tub of chocolate cookies.

"Nah I'm good thank you. More importantly, where the hell am I?"

"In the student council room." Noah said before stuffing his face.

Looks like my guess was pretty accurate. Then that means that this little kid is apart of the student council.

"Anyway since it's just the two of us I can get comfortable."

Once Noah said that I was crippled with fear. A huge rush of power washed over me making we tremble. Black lines like tattoos started to appear on Noah. The most visible were the ones on his face that formed to look like whiskers.

"Alright now take a seat and we can start talking." Noah said pointing over at a couch.

I walked over and sat down like a robot who hasn't been oiled in years.

"You know I absolutely loved what you did." Said Noah with stars in his eyes.

Huh

"I mean I didn't really expect to be praised for talking back to loyalty." I responded.

I honestly expected to be executed for doing just that. It's almost like I could remember the history of another world that almost seemed more demonic than this one.

"Oh that was cool too but I mean you sticking up for one of us."

"One of us?"

"Oh let me fully introduce myself. I'm Noah Turof. A member of the Turof Clan which is the original Beast Demon Clan. And the title given to me was Terror of the Jungle."

I remember mom and dad talking to me about titles. Only a hand few of demons have titles and they are only given to those who have done unspeakable things. Even mom and dad have a title. The Coupled Phoenixes. Which mom and dad said that they earned the title for going to war with an army of other worlders by themselves. People say that the two of them should have died multiple times during the gruesome battle. Which means Noah has done something on par on more dangerous than them.

"Beast Demon or not. Sarah is a nice person so is the rest of the Misfit Class. They don't deserve the bs that they get." I said slowly calming down.

"Well I can't completely trust that you are a good guy but you are definitely interesting. Whenever I'm around you I can smell a mixed scent."

"Well I don't know what that means. But thank you for resolving things. It really saved us from blowing things out of proportion."

"Listen. I won't do it again so this is my final warning. Don't interfere with the royals." Noah leaned forward glaring into me.

"I thought you said you liked the fact that I did that."

"Now don't get me wrong, I really loved the fact you stood up to her. No one ever has so she is probably flustered right now."

Just trying to imagine Alena being flustered is impossible. Just the fact that she is an actual princess of this world terrifies me completely. She is the definition to a Princess of Ice.

"That's impossible."

"Take my word for it if you want. But the bottom line is that I can't step in anymore. I'm sort of what you would call an independent party. Meaning this was my own decision not the council's. So if you pull something like that again. You take full responsibility."

"Ahaha... Warning heard loud and clear." I said with a gulp.

"That being said, you should probably leave now. It's almost time for class to continue."

To say the absolute least. That whole scene was scary as hell. All that power and a title yet he looks like a child. Seriously what has he done at such an age to get one. Terror of the Jungle. Just trying to go off the name is even worse. Did he commit a genocide or something to be called a terror?

My train of thought was cut off by someone pulling on my sleeve. I turned around to see Alena Wataf.

"Hey, I'm sorry I was just trying to get to class." I said already apologizing to try and avoid a scene.

"I-I'm sorry....."

"what."

"I'm not going to say it again." She said pouting.

"No, I'm just confused about what you're apologizing for."

"I don't really call Sarah that. And I'm sorry for calling you a title like that. It's just that everyone expects me to be the princess and the next demon king. So I'm just trying to play the part they want me to play." Alena explained while blushing.

"Well that's dumb."

"W-w - Wha. What'd you just say to me!?" Alena yelled with her face completely red.

"Princess and next Demon King or not, that's just absolutely stupid. If you keep acting like something you're not you'll just dig yourself a hole. One that's difficult and painful to get out of." I said turning away from her.

"You're just unbelievable!"

"Now that sounded genuine." I said as I walked away from her.

I made it back to class just in time. In time for absolutely nothing. The class was just hectic while Anton drank alcohol. Which combined with his accent made him seem more like a Russian or whatever that is. But seriously, this day needs to calm itself down. If it get's anymore eventful I might just cry. Also-

"It just had to be a Tsundere."

"No Tsundere's for you Shun." Said Saki who gave me a light bonk on the head.
