children's laughter 22

March 14th ,for the occupants, The moon in examination room 4391 a few minutes prior

Seb was down on his knee, the prosthetic one, and could hear chittering like a million insects were all buzzing around him at the same time, but so loud it was like someone was grinding rocks right next to his ears! It was so loud he couldn't hear anything at all and had his hands pressed against his ears even though it didn't alleviate the pain at all from the rising sound at all. But just as he started to yell out it in pain, it all just stopped leaving such a huge void that the silence sucked him in making his heart beat hammer in his head like a jackhammer for a few seconds.

Thankfully his hearing finally came back to him, albeit slowly, as he sat forward on his hands and knees trying everything in his power not to throw up all over the examination room, he even did a good job for the first minute but eventually he couldn't hold it back anymore and threw up the lunch he had just eaten everywhere in front of himself in huge sprays of chunky vomit.

Leaning forward over a puddle of his own making he drew in huge heaving breathes punctuated by big gobs of vomit flecked spit shot onto the floor, his eyes were swimming and he felt absolutely terrible, coughing a few times and sending one last phlegmy gob of spit into the corner of the room to impact on a nice shiny piece of sterile equipment Seb finally leaned back and pushed away from the puke pile to sit down.

"Might be uncomfortable my @ss, f*ck these tests and f*ck this sterile room too.", Seb was in no mood to even care about being electrocuted at this moment, he actually thought it might even be an improvement if they hit him with enough to knock him out so he wasn't conscious for anymore of these hellish tests…this was the second worst f*cking hangover he had ever had to date…he was sure of it…

Seb took a minute to bring himself back together while looking around again. After that last round of tests he hadn't gotten any instructions, he didn't even get reprimanded for hurling his guts all over this mysterious guys nice sterile work place, thinking now they didn't even try cleaning it up like before.

Did something happen or cut him off from the people watching him? Is that why everything was making him feel like sh!t? Could he try and escape if that were the case? Where could he go? It was so hard to try and think at the moment with his pounding head that felt like absolute garbage.

With one last spit to clear the taste out of his mouth Seb began the arduous process of getting up only to be interrupted just as he was about to straighten up, "THE SHOW candidate Sebastion Donning there has been some form of irregularities in regards to the tests you have undertaken, due to this we will have to replicate some of them and this may be…uncomfortable my apologies.", the mechanical voice once more intruded upon him, but this time he felt like it was telling him it was about to kick him in the dick with a jackhammer and not just run some tests on him.

Spinning in a circle he looked everywhere before reaching out, "NO PLEASE DON'T D-", he wasn't able to finish before he again felt a crashing sensation, only this time it was the sound of nails on a chalkboard that drove him to his knees, he felt like his teeth were about to shatter and he had to verbally yell to try and relieve the pain he could feel in his mind stretching across his psyche as it felt like his world was expanding only with pain.

"FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-ugh huh?", in the middle of him yelling out one of his favorite curse words everything went completely silent, creating a vacuum in his mind where only pain existed a moment before, everything seemed dull now but there was a very clear pressure in the room that made his skin prickle. Seb tried to looked around with one hand held to his head but was having a hard time orientating himself.

Looking around he caught site of the floating box that at the moment seemed to be trying to rip itself apart as he watched its glowing shape shake violently against the chains holding it to the floor, the longer he watched the glowing letters running along its sides grew brighter and brighter before flashing out creating large fissures that ran all the way through the box leaving it in uncountable pieces of varying size all slowly tumbling town with gravity.

As soon as this happened Seb felt a huge drop in the temperature around himself and the hair on his arms and neck stood on end. Looking to his side he felt as if someone had just passed extremely close to him disturbing the air near him, but no one was in the room with him and he was alone…or so he believed from looking around before.

"What the f*ck is going on?", Seb was confused and disorientated as he continually felt as if something was moving extremely close to him, just close enough to just be noticeable, close enough to displace the air around him to make his hair stand on end like an electrical charge was building close by.

Leaning back on his one leg with his prosthetic stretched out in front of him he heard the one thing that sent ice racing through his veins and caused him to straighten as his spine turned to a block of ice, he could feel someone right behind his left ear as he heard the sound once more cementing what he heard and causing his mind to shake violently.

The sound he heard was children laughing right behind him even though he knew with one hundred percent certainty he was alone in this room after spinning and looking in every direction, looking to his left just to be sure as he could feel ice race from his spine out to his limbs he had to make sure, but just as he confirmed no one was over his left shoulder he heard the same noise once more over his right shoulder causing him once again to turn, but this time his body locked rigid and before Seb knew what was happening he began to scream a blood curdling scream as his back arched with his arms splayed out revealing his chest lit up with an internal light that highlighted his skeletal structure through his skin, his head cocked to the left and his vision in his right eye disappeared as his eye burned to ash in the socket being replaced with a black flame that scorched the surrounding flesh and bone.

He felt like he was being burned alive from within and couldn't imagine a more horrible end, even when he started hearing his bones cracking apart from the pressure his body was being subjected to from within…it wasn't until the sound of children laughing was hurtling around his head nonstop as he was being cooked alive in his own body did he realize things can in fact get much worse…these children's laughter were like razors that left different colours of pain across his vision and psyche, it felt like he could experience joy, embarrassment, humiliation, expectation, and above all other sensations or feelings was agony painting his world in a mosaic of different kinds of pain that he tried to vent or exorcise from his mind by screaming towards the uncaring white ceiling that seemed to shake in his view.

Seb had no way of telling how long this went on for, but it felt like an eternity had passed by as he washed his mind in agony over and over again, until all of a sudden it shockingly stopped with such violence he felt his body kick forcing him to slump forward only to be propped up by his outstretched and in his mind unfortunately intact prosthetic, he sat there for a few moments trying to drag in burning lung fulls of air that seemed to be getting harder with each breath, in the corner of his eye he could see the previously floating box now cracked and in pieces with the chains that bound it completely melted away, but with two mismatched chunks stacked on each other glowing brightly but slowly losing their luster.

Then with a flash Quirrel appeared in front of Seb, or at least he was pretty sure it was Quirrel as he could only see his shoes from the way Seb was slumped forwards, "Hey buddy…how're you doing there?", Seb could hear uncharacteristic concern in that question but was way too far gone to care about the implications about that so instead just responded by coughing up some blood on those immaculate shoes to clear his throat for what he really wanted to say in that moment.

"G-go…f-f-f-c-k…y-u-y-rsss-ulf…", Seb managed to get that last insult out before crashing to the side in a charred boneless manner so he could try and enjoy the last few moments his flash fried life could give him, and honestly compared to being cooked alive like he was a few seconds ago, just slowly suffocating because one of your lungs was ash and the other was filling with blood seemed rather peaceful especially when he thought about how he coughed blood on those pretty shoes, dying sucked but that one moment made it worth it.

Seb couldn't chuckle but he did manage to lift a part of his unburnt face in a slight smile that looked more like a grimace before he finally fell unconscious. In an odd showing for someone who looked like they had been cooked alive just moments ago, Seb's face showed a hint of contentment.
