At the moment the witches became silent, had the Eldest Priest led the rest of the priests and yet the Chiefs and Elders into the words of appreciation. For the witches had done them good by giving them another chance. Hence, they began their journey back unto the palace. 

And as the witches remained yet feasting on the flesh and blood had they yet remained cracking in their wicked laughter. And according to the words of the Eldest WItch had Ifa-ile yet see nothing. For their downfall awaits them like a spring ending into a cliff. 

Only at this moment, as their lips were stained with fresh blood and their teeths were filled with particles of flesh, had they begun to sing among themselves. Surely, the people of Ifa-ile could not have heard them sing even if they stretched their ears and made it longer than that of a rabbit.
