5. Mom visit
"Hyun Jae-ya..." mom welcoming me at the appartment. mom told she will came today, but I didn't know she came early. mom can enter the apartment cause mom have an extra key.
"Mom, when you come?" I hug mom
"Just a 15 minutes ago" mom pat my back
"Sit here, mom bring you some food. Eat first. Mom will fill all your needs okay" mom hold my hand and drag me
"Mom didn't eat with me?" I eat bibimbap
"No, I already eat before came here"
Mom put all my necessities, put a food at the fridge, organize it. going to my bedroom clean it, put a new blanket, go to the bathroom and put also organize my things. mom really know I really can't do chores.
"Ah, so delicious. I miss mom's food. Actually I just eat with my friends but mom's food is undeniable" I give mom thumbs up
Mom smile and hand me a glass of water.
"Are your friends Bom and Song?"
"Yes"
"Then ask them to come by tommorow, mom will cook for them. their house if pretty far from here. they must really miss home cook"
"Okay"
"Hyun jae, there's convenience store near appartment?"
"Hm... yes. There's one. It's pretty big, not to big but yeah...why?"
"Mom forget to buy some spice and soap"
"It's okay, I'll go out and buy it"
"No...no let mom go"
"Hm... how about we going together. It's been a while since I walk with mom"

The weather pretty cold since it's get autumn season. I go to the convenience store with mom
"Hello, welcome to Xx mart"
Some familiar voice heard
Is her, it's Hyo Joo. She wear a cashier uniform.
"Have you sell xx soap? My son can't used another brand, he has sensitive skin"
"Oh, there's at the back of that rack ma'am" she point somewhere
"Hyun Jae-ya wait here, or if there something you wanna buy just grab it okay" mom pat my arm
I nod
I go to Hyo Joo
"Hyo joo"
She seems little surprised but she manage her expression calm again
"Hyun Jae, do you need some help?"
"Ah no, I just accompany my mom to buy some stuff"
"Oh is that so" she smile
"so you work here?"
"yes, actually the day we met is when I went to work"
"ah really, I'm sorry. you must be take day off because of it"
"ah, it's okay"
"Hyun Jae-ya" mom's came
"Did you know her?" Mom ask
"Oh she is my friend, we... "
"We go to same university " she said
"Oh, I'm hyun Jae's mom. Your so pretty. What major you take? Hyun jae is music"
"Ah , I. I'm in business major" she a little shy
she keeps calculate my mom's shop item.
Suddenly a man, seems little drunk push the line.
"Hey, you give me a soju"
"I'm sorry sir but you must get in the line" hyo hook answer calmly
"What, you little... how this young treat old people right now. I said give me a soju, NOW"
"Sir, this young lady is right, you must get In the line, it's my turn now" mom said
He looks at my mom and look at Hyo joo
"I'm sorry sir, but please get into the line first sir"
He suddenly grab Hyo joo uniform collar
"You little bastard, where your manager? Don't mess with me"
Mom look shock, hyo joo look scared ,she closed her eyes. I grab the man hand
"Sir let your hand off her"
The security comes and drag the man out of the store. he was drunk.
Hyo Joo face is pale
"Hyo joo, I'm sorry. The traffic is so busy. Let me take the shift" a girl rush to Hyo joo
"It's okay" Hyo joo still catch her breath
"you better sit for a while, it must he scary. I'm sorry Hyo Joo, if I wasn't late..."
"Jina, I said it's okay. I just little shock. don't worry" Hyo Joo hands her uniform vest
Mom and I standing out of the store, mom wait for Hyo Joo. A few minutes Hyo Joo come out.
"excuse me, It's by any chance you finished your work?" Mom asks her while touch her arm
"Oh yes, I'll go home now"
"Hyu jae and I will go to buy some dinner. If you don't mind can you come with us. Take your time, you must be surprised and scared" mom smile at her
I look at mom, mom wink at me. Hyo joo nodding.
We eat at a beef restaurant
"Hyo joo what's your favorite dish?" Mom hand a menu
"Ah, it's okay. I'll eat what you order ma'am"
Mom smile
We eat together, mom ask many things to Hyo joo, she maybe a shy girl but she looks so happy talking with my mom. Mom also try to comfort her.
It's so happy to see both people I loved sat and talk so comfortably.
"Thank you for the dinner" Hyo Joo bow to my mom
"Ah, it's okay. It's always me and Hyun Jae all the time. Hyun Jae dad's pretty busy. But it's good have you with us" mom pat Hyo Joo shoulder
"Then, I'll go now"
"Hyun Jae, send her home" mom said
"Oh no need ma'am. It's not far. Also it would be dangerous for you walk alone. I'm okay. Excuse me"
"Hyo Joo, I'll call you" I just wanna make sure she safe
"Okay" she smile
