Let the Show Begin

After a minute of kissing, Filius separated from Solution, he smiled knowing that she had finally calmed down.

While Solution was blushing, she felt kind of disappointed for not being able to continue kissing her Young Master, but she was also happy she was with the Young Master. Within her core, she felt a new feeling, one that was never there before, unlike the feeling she had when she did something she enjoyed like torturing humans and eating them, she felt like protecting him. Even though he was stronger than her she wanted to shield him from anything. She wanted to be by his side and wanted to receive his affection, that was the feeling she was having.

"Come, we should sit down and have dinner", Filius suggested, he made sure to gently hold Solution's hand.

Solution nodded, "I understand."

As they went to their seats two demon butlers stood behind the chairs and scooted them back so that Filius and Solution could sit down. Once the pair sat down, the demon butlers gently scooted them back.

After they sat down two waiters arrived with their plates and gently placed them in front of Solution and Filius. They then uncovered the cloche, in Filius's plate there was a giant piece of meat, the meat belonged to that of a dragon, it was cooked perfectly and seemed to be seasoned with at most care. Around the meat was a brownish-red sauce, from the smell it seemed like it was made to have some spice.

Meanwhile, Solutions plate was completely different, her plate was also a massive plate with meat but unlike Filius, her meat was shredded. The meat wasn't cooked, in fact, it was still raw and bloody, the meat was shredded so that the blood would spread evenly to all the meat. On the side was a small stack of what seemed to be human intestines that were cooked and full of blood, basically a blood sausage.

Solution was amazed by the food, she could immediately tell that food was from a human by the smell.

"I requested the chef to cook it for you, I ordered that they execute a human we had captured", Filius said as he removed the ring of sustenance he had, this was done so he could enjoy the food better.

Solution didn't know what to say, to have a human killed specifically for her and it was from the kindness of her Young Master. "I don't know what to say..., no one ever done something like this for me", she said with a small smile, "Thank you."

He then looked back at Solution, "I'm glad you like it, but I believe it will taste better than just looking."

Solution giggled, she made sure to cover her mouth trying not to be impolite, Filius could tell she was still a little stiff, but he let it slide.

This was also Filius's second date, the first one he had was with Naberal in E-Rantel, so he didn't know how dates actually went. When he spoke with Nina about what a date was, she told him dates were a romantic get-together with a partner, spouse, or person you have a romantic interest in. Filius made sure to make a mental note on it and asked for more details about dates and how they worked.

After discovering how a date was supposed to work, he decided to implement it with The Pleiades, he took Naberal out on a one-on-one walk and then decided to have dinner with Solution.

"Then let's start", Filius suggested that they should start eating, as they started getting themselves ready to eat a butler arrived and started serving them wine. The beverage they were drinking was a high-class wine from Yggdrasil, the drink also included a buff, but that didn't matter.

Filius cut up the meat and started eating it, he opened his eyes in surprise, thanks to the Ring of Sustenance he didn't need to eat, sleep. Though that stopped him from having those privileges, now that he had the (Demon Skin), he could taste and rest though thanks to his ability he wouldn't really need to.

Returning to the food, he was amazed by how delicious it tasted, the dragon meat was so tender and juicy. It was rich in flavor and seasoned perfectly, it seemed like eating food had its perks, basically a luxury.

Filius looked away from his food toward Solution, there he saw her enjoying her meal, thanks to his study on monsters and monster types he discovered that Solution's favorite food would be human. He asked permission from his father if he could use a few humans who were useless to him for this day.

Filius smiled when he saw how much Solution was enjoying her meal, he then went to take a drink of his wine before speaking to her, "So Solution, what are some of the things you do for enjoyment when you are given free time?"

"I don't exactly know what you mean by that?", Filius wondered why she was confused.

He remembered that his father and uncle Cocytus would always tell him to rest and not overwork himself, that if he stressed himself too much, he could eventually downgrade. [Do our servants not rest?], thought to himself.

"Solution, tell me, do you or any of the other servants ever get a break or a moment to relax?", Filius asked.

"We would never dare to rest or relax while in front of the Supreme Lords! We must serve you both with all our heart and blood", Solution stated.

"I understand.. but, even my father and I rest, this isn't because we are lazying around or being useless, it's done so that we can perform even better. This is a trick the Supreme Beings use all the time, the reason for this is due to the incredible amount of information a Supreme Being has", Filius stated, this was something Cocytus told him.

"What do you mean?", Solution asked curious about how the Supreme Beings acted.

"How do you think all the Supreme Beings always make the perfect decision. It's because they use all the information they have gained, they literally have the capability of predicting or even creating the future they want", Filius said with amazement.

"Really? That's incredible... to have such power... to create the perfect future, sounds like an impossible feat. Truly something only the Supreme Beings can achieve", Solution said with admiration in her voice.

"True", Filius said while eating another bit of meat, "I will take to my father to arrange a form of schedule so that the servants of Nazarick may be allowed to rest."

"Is it truly okay for you to do that for us?", she asked him.

Filius extended his hand and held hers, "it's okay, it shall be a gift to you and all the servants as gratitude for serving us full-heartedly."

"It's what we were made for and our greatest honor, Young Master", Solution stated with a small head bow, "And thank you for caring about this servant."

Filius smiled and nodded, "So tell me solution, what are your opinions about the New World?"

Solution pondered on the question a bit more before speaking, "This world highly resembles that of Yggdrasil, the clues are all in the magic and items we've seen and recorded. But it also is mysterious."

"How so?", Filius was curious about her words.

"World level items", Solution looked at Filius, "In the records, it's stated that most world level items have been owned by denizens of Yggdrasil. A small portion was owned by the Supreme Beings and the last portions were still lost or unowned."

"My question is, what happened to the all the world items not owned by the Supreme Beings, if they were brought here how many of them are still out there waiting to be claimed", Solution expressed her worries.

Filius nodded, "Indeed it's worrisome, but the best we can do is utilize every tool we have to claim them before the enemy does. They already attacked Nazarick, now it's time to corner them and squash them like the insects they are", Solution agreed with his statement.

Filius and Solution from then on enjoyed the rest of their meals while getting to know more about one another. Solution was an interesting woman, she loved many things, the thing she cherished the most were her sisters, this was below her devotion to him and his father. The things she loved doing were, completing her assigned missions and being praised as well as being allowed to kill and torture humans. Something that nobody knew, was that she would cook food for Entoma whenever she could (this was a rare occurrence since she was busier than ever these days).

After dinner was finished their empty plates were picked up, then another group of servants came and placed a couch by the veranda of the VIP booth.

Solution was wondering what was about to occur, Filius spoke before she had a chance to ask, "I have prepared a certain event for us, would you like to join me?" Filius asked while extending his hand towards her, Solution blushed and held his hand.

After they walked around the couch they sat down close beside one another, the coach was covered by the finest red silk, and the edges were decorated with gold, literal gold. The couch was so soft that if a normal person were to sit on it they would sleep almost immediately after sitting on it.

As they sat down, the servants came and started picking up the table wear and chairs, then finally they picked up the table before exiting the booth.

Solution was wondering what was happening when she saw a giant monster landing in the middle of the arena. He was a demon about seven feet, he had horns on his head and had the face of a hound, on his back were giant two giant-like bat wings. In his hand, he had a loudspeaker colored in a shade of black, he moved the loudspeaker up to his mouth.

"Welcome ladies and gentleman, welcome people of all ages", the demon yelled, the stone statues in the seats of the colosseum all applauded as if they were alive to his words. "Today we have a very important guest, all hail the Prince of Nazarick, Young Master Filius!", the audience of stone statues all started clapping and cheering. The stone statues could make sound thanks to the magic imbued inside their necks.

Filius stood up and waved at the stone audience, he made sure to look as dignified as possible, the clapping then died down once he returned to his seat. The demon waved his hand attracting the attention once more, "Let's greet our next guest, she is the fiance of our dear prince, a member of the Pleiades, please give a round of applause to Solution Epsilon!"

Everyone once again clapped and cheered, Solution had stood up and waved at everyone gracefully before sitting back down.

The demon then waved and got everyone's attention once more, "Today's event is being held thanks to them. I believe you all are curious about what's about to happen, well... it's a battle royal!!"

Everyone cheered ecstatically, Solution raised an eyebrow in surprise, she turned to Filius and he smiled at her.

"This battle royale will be an interspecies battle between various creatures, a three-way battle between a creature of the New World, a beast from Nazrick, and a human", the audience started talking with one another as if really curious or excited.

"Are you excited?", Filius asked Solution.

Solution nodded with a blush, "Seems like the Young Master has investigated my tastes, indeed I do feel excited."

"I hoped so, I can't read minds, but I hoped you enjoyed it. To tell you the truth, I'm also excited to see this", Filius said while gently holding Solution's hand.

Solution started blushing once again, she didn't know why but she enjoyed holding his hand, to her, it felt amazing. Filius decided to do something orthodox, he chose to lean on Solution.

This shocked Solution, "Young Master?! What are you doing?!"

"Just let me, that's an order", Filius decided to act a bit spoiled, "I can stop if you don't want to?"

"No, I don't mind, but that was unexpected I believe the couch would be more comfortable than me", Solution stated.

"Yeah, it might be, but I prefer you", Filius stated.

"Then... I hope you feel comfortable enough with me", Solution said with a blush.

During their whole conversation, the demon continued talking, "Let's see our contenders then, open up the gates!!", the demon said while flying away.

"Let the show begin", Filius said with a smile.
