Chapter 11: You can't always be nice. That's the first rule!

While Vis easily jumped off the window, his second servant needed to grab her head first. She then kicked off the ground heavily and flew through it! Upon landing, Miku spotted shattered wooden pieces falling not too far away from her.

It seemed like the inn's owner would be mad later!

She shrugged it off, then followed her master.

Not too much time was needed for Miku to catch up as Vis stopped on the road. He glanced at the person struggling to move on the snowy road.

It was an elderly woman, "Allow me to help you." Her master's voice rang out in the vicinity. Despite the snowstorm, Miku could hear it clearly. She eyed the master approaching the older woman and using his small body to block some cold wind.

"I don't need… your help… young man." The elderly woman was hunched, holding something close to her chest. She was probably hiding something from Vis' hands, but he just smiled upon it.

He gently wrapped his arms around her and helped her move forward, "It seems like you have been going ahead. How far?" His gentle voice and actions that lessened the burden brought enough safety to the lady's hearts.

She also could tell that Vis was strong enough to just steal her food at any moment. No longer struggling, the older lady and Vis slowly headed to her house.

After she thanked dearly and bowed a few times, Vis bid his farewell.

"Master," Miku called out.

"I know. It seems like the big yeti and army are already fighting. We gotta go fast." No more time could be spared! Vis kicked the ground and rushed despite the snowstorm getting intensified!

Was it the big yeti's influence? He hoped that it was just the world getting a little angrier!

If not, then this big yeti might be too much for him!

Vis was fast and so was his second servant who had it easier by following him.

Both of them appeared before the wall that protected the town. If Vis were to go through the main gate, then he would get stopped by the army's reserves which would be simply a bother.

He raised his head, narrowed his eyes, then pounced onto the wall.

His small fingers dug through the wall, slowly raising Vis higher.

Once he took over the top, Vis could properly measure the might of Calamity. An army of created monsters out of the snow was going forward. Behind the army, the big yeti was stomping heavily with its big feet.

It was like a white ball of cotton, though. This fur looked so thick and covered most of its features! Wasn't it like perfect defense? Vis thought exactly like that!

As for the army, there were two kinds of creatures.

The ones that looked like Vis had already seen before. Those had simply 'natural armor' around their bodies which controlled them.

The other type was a purely created monster out of the snow.

On the other side, the Merthic Empire's XII General was standing with a wide sword buried within the snow. He rested his two hands on the hilt and looked at the big yeti with focused eyes.

A silver full armor hid his features, leaving the eyes intact through narrow holes. The man was called General Tromb, one of the youngest generals.

"Commence!" His voice sharply swept through the vicinity as he waved his hand.

An army immediately answered his voice! They raised their silver shields up and rushed forth like the wall, ready to bring down any enemy! A silver glint soon flashed throughout the shield and a huge explosion followed after.

After the first row got formed, another one jumped on the armored soldiers and formed an additional level to the already formed wall.

This action had been repeated many times and something akin to the half-pyramid was formed.

A silver aura blended into one, then a formidable wall formed!

Seeing this, General Tromb nodded with content. He then grasped his heavy sword with one hand and strongly took it out of the snow's clutches, "I SHALL SLAY THIS MERE IMITATION!" He began to stomp firmly on the snowy path, his charge going straight at his soldiers.

This heavy armor and sword soon passed through many of those as he used them as a foothold to jump high into the sky!

"THERE IS ONLY ONE TITAN IN MERTHIC EMPIRE! OUR ROYAL FATHER, THE EMPEROR!" His declaration thundered in the sky! "THIS SWORD, BESTOWED BY HIS MAJESTY, WILL DO ITS DUTY!"

The already long and heavy sword became even bigger to the point where it was a joke for such a small human to hold it.

It was like Titan's Weapon, so tremendously in size that the sky became its sheath! However, the weapon's purpose had been already stated by the general!

He held it tightly, his muscles bulging. As veins scattered across his body and armor shone brightly with silver light, General Tomb exuded the peak of his body as well!

The two auras, Titan's Sword and Titan's Follower, blended into one, then the weapon went up.

A powerful slash soon descended onto the yeti.

BOOM!

This clash lasted for less than a second. The second was actually the time the thick skin could buy! After that, the sword halved the Yeti and brought immense victory to General Tromb.

He snickered widely, then allowed himself to float for a little more in the sky, basking in the victorious aura as even the snowstorm got swept by his slash!

"Wooo!" Miku exclaimed.

"Don't go anywhere," Vis replied, his hand holding her hair tightly.

The snow storm got swept by the slash and the walls became its victim! Naturally, Vis and Miku joined in its pain, but the dullahan had it the worst with her weak head control.

Her master held her white hair, so it was fine, though.

"So this is the general… The gap is so big…" Vis commented, his eyes following the army carefully. It was another reason why he couldn't appear and show any progress as those people surely would take him away if he were to do so.

After the general took down the yeti, the army scattered and began their fight against the creatures.

Those also took some wounds from the mighty slash, but their numbers were still high.

"Master," Miku said, her voice back to emotionless. "Don't you want to help them?" She asked because Vis had helped the old lady, but didn't move an inch while looking at some soldiers struggling against the monsters.

"I won't help them." Vis sighed. It seemed like a lot of intelligence had disappeared from this servant, for real. He needed her to eat more within the dreams and leverage on bad people to her utmost ability.

Vis continued then, "You can't always be nice. If you are too nice, then people will just use you. The same goes if you are too distant. It's best to find the balance. Be a man who is worthy of working with, but by no means schemed against."

Calamity also was beneficial to him.

Those soldiers were strong, so their dead bodies could be used as an experiment to summon his undead army. There was a ranking of undead monsters and dullahan actually ranked pretty high on the list.

The lowest one was a zombie. Though zombies wouldn't come out of such soldiers, Vis thought that maybe a lack of proper understanding would make them be like that. He didn't believe that he would go against the law without any external source.

But on the other hand, those silver armors had something… that pulled his attention. Was it the empire's emblem? No, it was like a hidden aura that felt beneficial to Vis' bloodline.

"Yeah, I can use… Titan God's bloodline, can't I? Those people should be key to get one of its abilities to my undead… Miku, we are going on a treasure hunt."

"Okay, Master." Miku nodded, feeling safe as her master held her hair even now.
