Chapter 58

After the Flash left with the woman who is still doesn't know her name and Felicia, I decided to head back to Gotham. I still haven't looked through Batman files and also need to update the Kree DNA. Carnage 2.0 will find where I am.

Red lightning flashed around my body as I zoomed out of the room, carrying my laptop with me, noticing many D.E.O officers outside my door, ready to burst into the room. Paying them no mind, I ran out of the city, zooming through forests and other cities, before arriving in Gotham and immediately went to my mansion.

I found C-1 in the living room licking ice cream. She looked at me and said, "Welcome back. Someone going by the name of Oracle. She said she wanted to speak to you but I said you weren't here."

"Huh." I said, wonder why I was called. Not bothering to call her back, I ran to my basement, and while running past a cell, I stopped and backtracked.

Looking inside the cage, I saw a dead man, sitting there with his hand wrapped around his dick. He looked dead but I can see him breathing faintly. He didn't notice me even when looking straight at me.

"The robots aren't feeding them well I see." I said, hearing a noise that sounds like a baby crying. Looking behind me, I saw a man and a woman in the same cell, who was hiding a less than one month baby behind them. "I remember bringing a pregnant woman in here but who knew she will successfully give birth." I mumbled, the couple hiding the baby more.

Shrugging, I dashed to my lab, where I left the USB containing Batman info and plunged it into my laptop. Many files, more than 100 terabytes of data, entered the laptop, making me grin. This will be fun looking through all these files.

~~~~~Batcave~~~~~
Batman in his Batman personal was sitting in front of his Batcomputer, watching footage captured by his satellite, before stopping and zooming in. It zoomed in to someone flying out of a skyscraper that was crumbling and after further inspection, you will see it is C-1.
"Computer, scan her face." Batman said, tapping the table.
[Scanning completed]
A complete file of C-1 appeared on his screen and he slowly went through it, not finding anything strange about this woman. But something was still bugging him. How did she gain the ability to casually regenerate an entire limb or torso?
"Carnage. This is the human experiment you have been conducting has come to." Batman said, sighing. "I need to put an end to this. Computer, call Star Labs."
[Calling S.T.A.R. Labs...]
Soon the call connected and a Puerto Rican male with long black curly hair, who was eating pretzels, answered it.
"Um, who are you? And why are you dressed like that?" The man said, taking a bite of his pretzel.
"I am Batman." Batman said, looking at the man on the Batcomputer screen.
"Uhh, imma will just hang up real quick." The man said, about to hand up but Batman quickly said,
"Cisco, the help of Star Lab and Flash is needed to take down a speedster that is currently in Gotham." Batman said, tapping the table.
"Another Speedster?" The man named Cisco said, confused.
A zoom noise and a bright orange light flashed in the background and the Flash and a woman appeared behind Cisco. He looked at the computer screen which showed Batman face and asked,
"What do you know about this speedster."
"He formally goes by the name Carnage and current top speed calculated is Mach 59. I will give you more details about him if you do agree to help me out." Batman said, not planning to give out all his information he gathered about Carnage. "I will be waiting for your response, Flash." Batman said, hanging up.
After Batman hanged up, Flash removed his mask, reviling his true face as a caucasian male with short blond hair and blue eyes. Looking at the others, he asked,
"So what should we do?"
"We can't just go running in there. That will put you in danger." Cisco said, typing away in his computer.
"But lives are at stake. Just before, I learned that he kills for fun and his crimes have been increasing. He needs to be stopped and I am the only one fast enough to stop him." Flash said, emphasizing the fast.
"We know that Barry, but it is still too dangerous. Didn't you hear? Batman said he moves at Mach 59. Your current top speed is only Mach 40." A woman beside flash said.
"Caitlin is right. You are no match for him with your current speed." Cisco said, still typing on his computer.
"I am not alone though. Cisco with his vibe, Caitlin with Killer Frost, and all the items we have created. We can take him down." Barry said, walking around.
"From what I just found out, it seems that he is more dangerous than we thought." Cisco said, a profile of someone popping up on the screen. "Carnage, or shall I say, Death Speed."
"Death speed?" Caitlin asked, confused.
"That the nickname I gave him." Cisco said, pointing at the screen. "Rick Brandon, a former prisoner in an Asylum before he somehow gained speed."
"This is Carnage?" Barry asked, looking at the picture of the man on the screen.
"From what I have found, yes." Cisco said, taking a bite from his pretzel. "What's wrong?"
"Well, we just met him when we went to go pick up Felicia in National City. He was a friend of hers and the one who told us about Carnage." Caitlin said, confused about why he would do that.
"He wanted us to come to him, which means he is planning something. We can't fall for his trap." Flash said, looking at Carnage's profile. "Who know such a normal-looking man could be Carnage."
"You call him normal? This dude is 6'5" and with enough muscles to crush me even if he doesn't use his speed. There is nothing normal about him." Cisco said, looking at Barry like he is crazy.
"Felicia doesn't know that he is Carnage. Should we tell her?" Caitlin asked.
After giving it some thought, Barry said, "No. Let's not tell her until she is done healing from the damage she received while investigating the dark side of National City. I will also send her to Star City, so she can heal there with her twin sister, Felicity."
"Good choice. Now, shall we get ready to go take down an evil speedster?" Cisco said, grinning.
