Admirable President

Saturday morning quickly come. Some people had a blissful night sleep while others did not sleep a wink.

Luna wake up and prepared a small pot of chicken porridge with some side dishes. She served herself and Alex a big bowl of porridge respectively. They ate silently while surreptitiously stealing glances at each other.

Alex can't bear the awkward silence anymore and quickly finishing his food. He stole a last glance at his wife before he strode out the house. Both heaved a heavy and relief sigh the moment they were out of each other proximity. Alex absentmindedly drove out while Luna slumped on the chair. The ringing phone brought Luna out from her chaotic mind.

She picked up the call, "Luna's speaking."

"President. Good morning. I had just received the sales report and some customers' feedbacks for yesterday operation. I had forward the copies to your email. We had surpassed our sale's target. Overall, 'Glory Cafe' was successfully launched and operated. Congratulations, President."

Luna opened her email and skimmed through the reports.

"Marvelous! Send my regards to everyone. As I promised, five percent bonus at the end of this month for everyone. Also, booked the Glory Delights tonight for the team. It's on me. Thank you, Cheung and keep up the good job," Luna said.

"You're too humble. It's all thank to you, President. You provided most of the recipes and even the cafe layout was designed by you. We just proceeded according to your plans," Chen Cheung humbly replied.

It's true. Luna had done most of the jobs, from recipes researching, testing, improvised and created some new recipes. She also designed the layout to be more practical and magnificient.

'She is so talented and foresighted person.' He thought. Not many women can do what she did, not even men. Furthermore, she was a great leader, wise and down to earth. She was very strict when it come to works. She did not hold back when she criticized someone jobs but she also gave them some pointers to take note, so they could improved. She also generously rewarding someone if they executed the tasks perfectly. That's why everyone who knows her really admire her personality and work hard everyday. She created a nice working environment.

Luna did not refute him as she knew she deserve the praise.

"How about the land that I asked you to investigate at the east suburb?" she changed the topic while she served Lily her breakfast.

She watched as her daughter spooned some porridge and swallowed. She wiped the porridge trail at the corner of Lily's mouth.

"I did found who the owner is. It's Mr. Feng Guang. He is-"

"Mr. Feng Guang of Mu Corp?" Luna intercepted.

"...Yes..yes..he hold the fourth largest shares of Mu Corp. You know him?" he asked, shocked.

'My boss is impressive.'

"I do. How much did he own?"

Luna opened the City S maps from the satellite image and zoomed at the east suburb's areas. The area covers some beach and small hills.

"He owned majority of the lands including the beach, that is about four hundred acres. Apparently he did not has any plan to develop the lands. So, what is your next instruction?"

Luna marked the areas and jotting some words on her notepad.

"Nothing. I'll take over from here. Did Sis Chien informed you regarding the launch event of 'Glory'? Make sure the boutique is ready to display the garments. Decorated the shop tastefully but not overly done. Make it simple and fancy. Ask one of the electrical teams to check and recheck the wiring structures. Do the necessary if something up. I don't want any last minute mishap happen. Did you copy?"

"Noted, President. Have a good day."

The phone on the bedside table in the bachelor pad had ringing continuously for half an hour. The caller was really persistent.

"Fu..mother! It's Saturday and it was just past 9 o'clock in the morning," a groggily voice answered the call after sworing loudly.

He just went to bed around 2am after came back from the Purple Club. Supposedly they went back later but Micheal suddenly said he had something important came up.

They wondered what it might be, because it did not like Micheal at all to just pass the night without alcohol and pleasure. They knew he doesn't fond of working hard. So it was really suprising. After all, it was Micheal idea to celebrate his first day as the Mu Corp's CEO.

It's not enjoyable without Micheal, as Danial and Calvin just sat in the private room, sipping on some alcohol while discussing some business plan. The two really don't know how to enjoy life. Tsk..it was boring.

"It's already half past nine. What are you doing still lazing around? Come home right now," the woman shouted at the phone thus making her son cringed.

She was busy giving some instructions to the maids.

"No, no..moved it to the side..a bit more..yes, that's perfect. Make sure to wipe the windows again until it's shining. Spray more air freshener. Quickly..quickly.."

Then she heard her son snoring.

"Rong!" She shouted.

Jason who fell asleep again was startled. "Y..yes..mother. What are you saying?"

"Rong! Get your ass out of your bed right now and come back home before I send someone to tie you up and roll you on the street," she threathen before disconnected the call.
