The truth spanning seven thousand years

The man in front of me- wasn't a man.

It was an undead.

And I'd always thought him to be male.

And yet, here he was- just crumbling to pieces and smiling at me.

That goddamn skully face with bugs running around- smiling.

And yet- the smile made shivers go down my spine. It was almost as though my body knew this guy-

"The hell, are you?" I mumbled.

"Been wondering that for over seven thousand years," he said.

He was in pain but he didn't really seem that disturbed.

If anything he was glad?

This was a ploy, this had to be a ploy.

It was a ploy, right?

RIGHT!?

I fell to my knees just next to him.

'It can't be…'

Dick and the others came over and surrounded us.

Meanwhile, the war was over and both sides just stared.

"I'm assuming you two are acquainted…" Selis said.

But even now, I couldn't believe this. "You called me brother, right? Who are you?"
