Second Test— Complete!

"Come in." Toudou Katsu casually called out as he deftly typed on his computer. Although he realized that something wasn't right, he just waved it off as his instincts sending false alarm in his brain. Clearly, he wasn't expecting anyone at this point in time but the guards who were stationed everywhere in the building didn't stop his visitor.

So whoever it was, he concluded that it was someone close to him, or someone he knew more than an acquaintance.

But unbeknownst to him, it wasn't because the guards knew of the individual, it was because the guards didn't have any choice but to let the individual in! For some reason or the other, the individual managed to know of their hidden secrets and used those against them. They had no choice but to comply with his wishes, otherwise, they'd be dead meat when word gets out.

They had two choices— one, let the person in and suffer the CEO's wrath, or two, don't let the person in and their hidden secrets will get out. It was clear which choice outweighed the other.

"Excuse me," Yuuta responded as he meekly entered the CEO's office.

"You, who are you?!" Todou Katsu suddenly bolted upright from his chair in shock as he braced himself. He didn't know what to expect since a complete stranger just entered the office and everyone gave him a pass.

Yuuta didn't respond. Instead, he went towards Todou Katsu and displayed a single piece of paper in front of him. "Sign these for me, will you? And also put a stamp on it just to make sure." Yuuta said with a straight face.

"Guards! Guards! Get this man out of my sight right now." Todou Katsu roared his lungs out. But what he didn't know was that there were no guards on the fifth floor where they were. Apparently, Yuuta had already dismissed them on the notion that he would reveal their secrets.

It was an odd way of using his Sight skill but it was very effective.

"Azonoa high-rise buildings, DcMonalds, Your Previous Secretary, and oh! This building as well. What do you think these things have in common?" Yuuta asked with a huge grin on his face.

Toudou Katsu clicked his tongue, obviously frustrated. He never expected someone to know of these things, especially someone who is wearing a DcMonalds uniform. And adding to that, it was plain to see that the one threatening him right now is just a kid, approximately sixteen years of age. As someone who stood on top of the food chain, this is an insult to him. "You're just a kid, nobody will believe you." Toudou Katsu sneered. "I can kill you right here, right now, and have my assistants dispose of your body. No one will know."

Fwip!

'Honestly, when it comes to desperate people like this. I'm not the best underground fighter for nothing, you know.' Yuuta said to himself as he reached out his hand and grabbed the gun which was just about to come out of Toudou Katsu's suit. If Yuuta was blind, then he would've reacted much quicker since the sound is all too familiar for him. Clicking his tongue, he managed to grab the gun from Toudou Katsu's hand before he even noticed it.

"Well, the same goes for you. I can kill you here right now and dispose of the body." Yuuta smiled as he pointed the gun at the CEO. "Toudou Katsu, this is the end of your rope. Why do you think I managed to get inside your office without suffering a single scratch? You don't have to answer that, I know you know."

Toudou Katsu gulped as he raised his hand. "You're just a kid. There's no way you could shoot a gu—"

Dopan!

"AAAAAGHHH!"

"So it wasn't a dud." Yuuta casually called out as he admired the gun.

If there was a reward for having the best poker face in all of Lucid Dream Server, Yuuta would've probably gotten the award. Although he was keeping a straight face when he fired the gun, he was shocked at the noise that was emitted when the bullet was fired. It was his first time firing a gun and the vibration he felt on his right hand almost made him drop the gun.

A deep maroon red could be seen on Toudou's left shoulder as blood continuously flowed from it. Fortunately, Yuuta managed to shoot a safe spot on Toudou's body and his life wasn't in any danger— except of course if he loses too much blood.

Just like what Yuuta had expected, Toudou was a huge coward who makes others do the dirty work for him. The only reason why he was able to kill his secretary was that she was relatively weaker than him. And now that he met someone who could overwhelm him, he cowered in fear, hoping that someone will save him.

He reached out for his pen and stamp, signing the papers that Yuuta put in front of him. "You just want me to sign these right? You're just a kid so I know you won't ask for outlandish things. Here, happy now?" He desperately said.

Clack! As the stamp went on the paper, a smile almost formed on Yuuta's lips but he didn't waver. He continued pointing the gun at their CEO. "I can't believe I'm working as a branch manager under you." Yuuta clicked his tongue in disappointment.

Still pointing the gun, Yuuta went towards the east wall of the office and unlocked the safe propped on it. As to how he knew of the passcode, Toudou could only wonder. After all, that safe was so secured that he's the only one who knows of the passcode and he changes it every day. In the end, he just watched in horror as Yuuta unlocked the safe and a huge figure wrapped in black plastic fell on the floor.

As it turned out, the safe which was propped on the wall was in fact a refrigerator. "This is just... how could you do this to your own secretary." Yuuta wanted to look away but he didn't. He didn't want to show a moment of weakness in front of the CEO.

Before Yuuta could open the bag up to reveal what was inside, a series of footsteps could be heard from outside the office. "Sir! Are you o— " One of the guards who got to the door first suddenly screamed but he stopped short.

"QUICK! CALL THE POLICE! THERE'S A DEAD BODY HERE!" Yuuta exclaimed, pointing at the victim which was tightly wrapped in black plastic.

The guard didn't know what to do. His eyes darted from Yuuta to his boss.

In the end, however, a sense of guilt overcame him and he called the police.

Before they arrived, Yuuta went to the other safe and unlocked it. Once again, Toudou Katsu had no idea why Yuuta knew of the passcodes for each safe. And there, Yuuta found stacks upon stacks of documents that proved Toudou Katsu's records in embezzlement.

Minutes later, the police arrived and questioned everyone at the scene. Of course, Toudou Katsu was immediately found guilty. As for Yuuta, he was able to dodge the questioning with the perfect alibi— that he was just there to complain and suddenly, he saw their CEO putting something suspicious in the safe.

"Before I got to ask what it was, he suddenly pointed a gun at me. I managed to struggle and I accidentally shot him on the shoulders." Yuuta said.

"It's true! I was behind the door when it happened, right?" One of the guards called out to another guard.

"Right! I saw it too! I thought something was wrong." The other guard said.

To Yuuta's surprise, the guards testified for him, not against him. For a moment, he thought that maybe it was because he blackmailed them with their hidden secrets. But then, a thought came to him— that these guards are tired of seeing the crimes their boss was committing.

After a few seconds of staring at Yuuta, the guards dismissed everyone and took Toudou Katsu into custody. They later identified the body as his previous secretary and proved that the murder weapon was a knife in Toudou Katsu's possession.

The commotion died soon after.

When the police officers finally drove off, the reporters who were madly scrambling around for an interview started flocking the guards and those involved. As for Yuuta, he managed to sneak out of the crowd and headed back home.

A series of fortunate events led him to his successful endeavor and now he had completed the quest. But for some reason, he still hasn't received the notification that he has completed the hidden quest. Yuuta clutched at his chest and felt the stack of paper in it. These papers were the ones signed by Toudou Katsu and Yuuta was able to sneak them out before the police came. No matter what Toudou Katsu said to the police officers, no one believed him since most of the guards testified against him. Adding to that, there weren't any security cameras inside the CEO's office. That's why Yuuta managed to get away without having to deal with questioning and interviews.

Furthermore, the death of the secretary was linked solely to Toudou. He had nothing to do with it. It was all the more reason why the police officers didn't believe anything that Toudou related to them.

"Yuuta! Yuuta!" Someone screamed from behind Yuuta, making him instinctively flinched.

It was Maya, and it looked like she was crying.
