Prologue

A boy of ten or eleven years was running through a densely packed forest as he could hear terrifying roars of creatures and beast which would put the fear of God in a person. He had shirt but shaggy black hair, blue eyes and childish facial features. He wore half pants and a black jacket underneath which was a red shirt. On his feat he wore hard but leather shoes

"Ha....ha ....I didn't expect that damned creature to find me so easily. Fuck it" The boy said as he kept on running. He was currently holding his right hand which was bleeding from his shoulder.

"This is getting dangerous" He said as he quickly hid behind a large tree. Suddenly the space in front of him distorted as a short sword came out of the distortion. The boy held the sword tightly with his left hand and waited.

*Rumble* The ground at this moment started to shake as trees started to break apart as something rushed from inside the forest.

*Booooom* The trees broke apart and made a way through which a large creature came running. It had an extremely muscular body which was covered with scales. It had a long tail with spines on the tip. The face of this creature was horrifying as it was a skull with sharp fangs and two elongated horns on the top of it. The eye sockets were burning with blue flickering orb of flame. It has had multiple slash wounds that kept on bleeding dark purple blood. It seemed to have been heavily wounded.

Currently the creature was looking around for something. It suddenly raised its head and sniffed the air.

'Tch it's going to find me at this rate. I have to take it out before it locates me!' The boy thought as he looked at the creature with beads of sweat on his forehead.

He clenched the blade tightly as he took a rushing position.

'I will only get one chance, I have to give it my all' He thought grinding his teeth as he looked at the creature.

'Overdrive' He thought as a dark but berserk aura surrounded his body. He instantly moved his legs as the soil below him flew up as he rushed at the creature in a blinding speed.

*ROAAAAAAAAAR* The creature already sensed the berserk aura and turned his body towards the boy as it raised it's muscular claws towards the rushing boy intending to tear him in half.

"RHAAAAAAAAAA!!!" The boy roared as he reached the creature in a split second and slashed it with his sword which was engulfed in a inky black energy.

The boy appeared behind the creature while creatures arm was already extended in front of him as red blood dripped down it's claw.

The boy suddenly fell to his knees and held the right side of his abdomen which was missing a chunk and blood flowed everywhere. He dropped the sword as well while he grunted in pain.

And as for the creature, It has a long think line running from its left shoulder to the lower end of its right side of the waist. The creature stood still and didn't react. Suddenly the upper half of its body fell down as blood spluttered everywhere. The creature was killed.

As as for the boy, his body laid on the ground as he grunted in pain and said," ha.....ha.....I...I finally d....did it".

*Ding* 'You have defeated Samael's spawn. You received 500 exp and a silver card.

Remaining exp till next level, 350 exp' A mechanical voice said.

The boy slowly sat on ground as he huffed. He stretched his hand while the space distorted in front of him.

A vial fell on his palm from the distortion. The liquid inside the vial was red and it seemed to be shining. He removed the cork of the vial and gulped down the liquid down his throat.

"Urghhh!!!" The boy grunted as he the wounds on his body started to heal at a visible speed.

Slowly his entire body healed as he got up from the ground and stretched his limbs.

"Ahhhh this sensation is great" He muttered as he checked his body.

After seeing that everything was fine, he slowly walked towards the corpse of the dead creature.

"Now let's see what can I get from you?" The boy said with a smirk as he stretched out his left hand.

The creatures body turned into motes of lights as it was slowly absorbed by him.

*Ding* 'You have obtained the corpse of Samael's spawn... Converting into PTs..... Obtained 18000 PTs' Came the same mechanical voice.

"Good" The boy said looking at the floating panel in front of his face as he slowly walked inside the dark forest.
