Get Married Again

"What is this thing with Hideaki?"

Bella and Andrei were having breakfast in the garden when she came down to the first floor. The two hauled a small square wooden table to the garden and set it up for a pictorial.

Bella, she realized, wasn't just into writing stuff nowadays but also into pictorial as well. She checked her Instagram and it was heavily curated with things that she likes.

"Go back upstairs and put on your pajamas!"

"Why would I do that?" she picked up an egg muffin, but Bella swatted her hands.

"If you want to eat, do as I say. Put on your pajamas."

Andrei, who is already in his pajamas, just smirks. Taking photos of food while pretending to eat them was something he enjoyed.

But then, just as Bella said, if she wants to eat breakfast she has to do what she wants. She headed back to her room to put on frigging pajamas to eat breakfast in the garden.

When she was young, her mother would give her a scolding if she sat down at the breakfast table unpresentable. She was required to have her face washed, teeth brushed, hair combed, and out of her sleepwear before gracing the breakfast table.

Now, she is required to the opposite. Her mother would have a heart attack if she knew this is how things are done nowadays.

She chuckled by herself, pulling a pair of silk emerald teddy. It goes with a robe but the sleepwear was provocative enough in bed and would be considered scandalous in broad daylight.

If Bella would post the outtakes of her photo session again, her mother, who finally found her way around Facebook to check on her children.

She could imagine her horror and chagrin once she saw her wearing such clothing outside the privacy of her bedroom.

She pulled out the hair band that she used to tie her hair in a nice ponytail. She raked her fingers on her well-combed hair to give her an illusion of bed hair, just rolled out of the bed. She dubbed a bit of lip tint on her lips.

She wore the robe without tying the sash, keeping it open to see her teddy, and giggled at the thought that her mother would hate it.

When she was happy with how slutty she looked she headed back to the first floor to do the photoshoot.

Where she was welcomed by a whistle from Andrei, "Damn, girl you are looking fine." He scanned her from the top of her head to the heels of her foot. "Turned around."

She did what she was told, and more. She did a slow dance in the middle of the garden for Andrei. They laughed at how silly they were, especially when Andrei stood up from his chair and twirled her around the grass, barefoot.

All the while, Bella's camera shutter clicked nonstop.

When they got tired and dizzy from twirling around, she dropped herself on the grass. Cold sweats form at the base of her neck and her temple. She was having fun laughing with Andrei and she forgot her hangover.

"Time out," she said, gasping for air. "I feel like vomiting."

Andrei sat down and decided to be obnoxious when he saw she's feeling terrible. He laid his head on her lap. She was about to curse him when Bella handed her a steaming black coffee from a dainty teacup.

"What are you doing serving coffee in a Royal Albert teacup?" she asked, inhaling the strong coffee aroma and abruptly felt way much better.

"It looks good in the photo."

She chortled with Bella's answer. "Why are you so obsessed with this photo-taking of yours? I saw your Instagram and thousands and thousands of people were liking your photos. Don't they have a life?"

"They live vicariously from those photos, dear. You were so snobbish with what's happening in social media that you have no idea the world now revolves around those 'people'. Even in marketing our products, we used social media. We easily reached our targeted market."

"Seriously? Maybe I should take time learning them now that I am officially a bum," she looked up at the morning sky as she held the dainty coffee cup in front of her face, inhaling the strong aroma of the coffee.

"You should. I think you would be an effective content creator or influencer."

"Influencer? What's that?"

"That's how you call Bella -- and the other people who are like her, posting content on different social media platforms and influencing their audiences."

"And you use this way in marketing your product?"

"Yes. And it's quite effective too. Imagine if let's say -- that breakfast table is from our furniture line, and Bella posted it online in one of her photos. As a result, people would perceive it as a product in use as opposed to just a display in our showroom. That makes it more effective."

"I see. I think I can see why it is effective. You are playing on the natural 'need' of people to acquire something others own."

"You are making it sound so bad," he chuckled as he got up from laying on her lap. "It's just how the younger generation consumes. People are more visual and interactive nowadays."

"But kinda scary how kids now do things. Can you imagine if we did that when we were young?"

"Our mothers would have a heart attack," he said as he looked at her provocative outfit, "your mother would probably send you to the convent if you got out of your bedroom in that outfit."

"I know, that's why I came out in this outfit." She smirked and a mischievous glint crossed her eyes, "Bella how fast can you process those pictures you took?"

"If you mean, who fast I can put a filter on these pictures, the answer is, it's all done. I have a preset that I use for all of my photos so they would be aesthetically pleasing."

"Oh wow!" her eyes bulged when she saw the photo of her and Andrei on the grass. "It looks so dreamy. Our mothers would want us to get married again if they saw these pictures."
