"What the fuck did you send over, Nicky?" Laurie is screaming over the phone at six fucking  o'clock in the morning.

"It has a note. And I believe that the message was clear." the name Nicky answered.

"Well that's exactly, why I am asking!"  she exclaimed angrily, glaring at the innocently looking red leather pill box, that is instantly recognizable as a famous jewelry brand, sitting on her kitchen counter, with a note that says - I heard you cry over a guy, here's a small gift to let you know that I'd marry you anytime.

With the familiar scrawling penmanship in the white piece of paper, she would know who sent her the note, even without calling the guy on the phone.

"Jiro." She muttered under her breath her eyes were fixed on the stage, to the man who was screaming about how a woman cheated in a relationship. She wondered if he wrote the lyrics and if he wrote based on his own personal experience.

When they first met, her heart stopped beating. Her breath was caught at the back of her throat when she heard him speak behind him, telling the cashier that he would pay for her onigiri when she realized she didn't have money with her.

Watching him walking out of the convenience store, Laurie's knees buckle.  She had to tell her brain to expel the air she was holding in her chest and to inhale a deep breath for she forgot how to breathe properly when she looked at his eyes.
