"What the fuck did you send over, Nicky?" Laurie is screaming over the phone at six fucking  o'clock in the morning.

"It has a note. And I believe that the message was clear." the name Nicky answered.

"Well that's exactly, why I am asking!"  she exclaimed angrily, glaring at the innocently looking red leather pill box, that is instantly recognizable as a famous jewelry brand, sitting on her kitchen counter, with a note that says - I heard you cry over a guy, here's a small gift to let you know that I'd marry you anytime.

With the familiar scrawling penmanship in the white piece of paper, she would know who sent her the note, even without calling the guy on the phone.

"Hello,"  she greeted Ryu cheerfully as she strutted into his office early in the morning.

Andrei went home, saying that Bella must be wondering where the two of them had been and what they had been doing.

Laurie has no plan of going home yet until she has done what she wanted to get done. Andrei told her last night that he has to get back to Manila soon because his mother was back from her vacation with her grandchildren and now back in their ancestral house in the city.

He had to talk to his mother so he could fly back to Spain for his partner - Eric and their business were waiting for him.
