"What the fuck did you send over, Nicky?" Laurie is screaming over the phone at six fucking  o'clock in the morning.

"It has a note. And I believe that the message was clear." the name Nicky answered.

"Well that's exactly, why I am asking!"  she exclaimed angrily, glaring at the innocently looking red leather pill box, that is instantly recognizable as a famous jewelry brand, sitting on her kitchen counter, with a note that says - I heard you cry over a guy, here's a small gift to let you know that I'd marry you anytime.

With the familiar scrawling penmanship in the white piece of paper, she would know who sent her the note, even without calling the guy on the phone.

Capture A Husband: My Asian Mother's Quest

The said article was the interview of one of the members of the famous Korean band --Terrence Choi. He was interviewed and he confessed that he wasn't able to move on from his first love. The article posted a photo of him with the said girl. Jiro just needed a glance to recognize that it was Laurie. From the photo, she looks so young and she's wearing the usual smirk she wears whenever she has to deal with people she doesn't like.

In the photo, Laurie was wearing a red wine gown with a high slit on her left thigh. The slit of her gown hiked up dangerously high in her thigh because she had her leg bent as she leaned lazily against the baluster of a balcony, overlooking the famous skyscrapers of Hong Kong.

She was holding a glass of wine, standing next to the guy that was being interviewed in the article. He scanned the date of the photo but there was none. The guy, from what he's reading was confessing his love for Laurie that he left for his career.
