2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things have become new.
Have you ever wondered who God says you are? Well, I have. Growing up as a child I have been called many names. I was called worthless, I was called ugly and names that I can't even mention. Some names were not in God's book. Names that break my self-esteem and self-worth, which I started to, tell myself that is what I am. I accept the labels the enemy throw at me because I never fully understand that God has a new name in store for me.
God tells me in 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
That means God have chosen, He hand pick me for a divine purpose. I am royalty and now I know who I am.
They used to say I am unlovable But Romans 8:38-39 tells me that for I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
They said I was rejected and abandon but God said that He God Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will- Ephesians 1:5
Isaiah 43:1 but now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob (Patesha), and he that formed thee, O Israel (o Patesha), Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
They said I am broken and not fixable but God said: But he was wounded for my transgressions, he was bruised for my iniquities: the chastisement of my peace was upon him; and with his stripes I am healed. Isaiah 53:5
They say I am fearful and will never do anything but God said in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
When we think we are nothing God is always there to remind us who we truly are. We are his and he has called us by name. We are precious in His sight, so it doesn't matter what man says we are.
Now i know who God told me that I am.
