Patesha Campbell is a single woman with a relentless desire to please God. She
gave her life to the Lord twenty years ago and has survived many trials,
tribulations, and pain. She is a member of the Evangelical Church of Christ,
Calvary Temple, where she served in the youth department for over ten years.
She currently serves as the vice president of the youth department and assistant
secretary for the ladies’ ministry. She is also a member of the youth choir, the
praise and worship team leader, and the sign language ministry leader. In 2019
she was ordained as a Christian Worker.
She loves the Lord and strives to serve him with her whole heart. She aims to
never give up on God amidst the struggles of life.
One of her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 - “And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his
purpose.” This verse brings comfort and hope to her, knowing that God keeps
his promises, despite the painful life processes.

PROMISES IN THE MIDST OF THE PROCESS

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.


Fear. is one of the enemy weapons that he uses against us. Worry, anxiety, fear…can overwhelm us and control our every decision we are to make


So much is happening around us today – they are wars, violence, crime, natural disasters, unemployment, divisions, disease, and death. We fear for our children's future, we fear for our families, we fear for our financial future would look like.


Yet God is telling us that whatever we are worrying about and what we fear may or may not happen.


I struggled with fear for many years, I have feared what people may say when they heard all that I have been through and all that.  I have struggled with it. I was fearful of what my future looked like, I was fearful and worry about whether I will end up in a good job and most of all I was fearful of being successful.  I was worried about how I would feel if I accomplish something big but over time and with the help of the Lord I have over overcome it.


One passage of scripture that helps me to get over fear and worrying is 2 Timothy 1:7 which says For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.


Don't look forward in fear, to all the changes in your life. But look at them with hope as they come your way For God is your father He will keep you and lead you safely through


So don't fear what tomorrow may bring the everlasting God, he who cares for you today will care for you through every day so don't fear don't, be dismay


God is your shield and sword He will protect you from all harm He will give you strength which is his joy, don't be anxious for anything, But in everything give him praise....
