Patesha Campbell is a single woman with a relentless desire to please God. She
gave her life to the Lord twenty years ago and has survived many trials,
tribulations, and pain. She is a member of the Evangelical Church of Christ,
Calvary Temple, where she served in the youth department for over ten years.
She currently serves as the vice president of the youth department and assistant
secretary for the ladies’ ministry. She is also a member of the youth choir, the
praise and worship team leader, and the sign language ministry leader. In 2019
she was ordained as a Christian Worker.
She loves the Lord and strives to serve him with her whole heart. She aims to
never give up on God amidst the struggles of life.
One of her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 - “And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his
purpose.” This verse brings comfort and hope to her, knowing that God keeps
his promises, despite the painful life processes.

PROMISES IN THE MIDST OF THE PROCESS

 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.


And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.


 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship so that it was now full.


 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?


And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.


And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?


And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?


 Have you ever been through a storm or a hurricane in your life?  My first experience with a hurricane was in 2004 when Ivan hit Jamaica. I set up the whole night watching the wind sway the breadfruit tree left, right, back and forth. At daybreak, I put on quite a few pants and shirts and a raincoat, and when for a walk, the wind was still strong, almost blowing me down.


 Just like how the nature storms and hurricanes behalf, it is the same way some spiritual storm will rock you back and forth trying to break you. Life is full of storms where we face circumstances, trials of life, and troubles.


 When there is a storm then the Lord will send calm He will bring peace in the midst of the sea. Things might not be working out for you, but keep pushing on and never lose hope 


  Always believe that God is with you, Even when people mistreat and use you just remember that Joseph's brothers, sold him for pieces of silver. But God took him through His up times and down. And he will do the same for you, so always believe. 


  God knew the plan that he has for your future, So keep on appreciating the up times. For one day it will become harder, Keep on appreciating the downtimes, for they will be gone someday 


 Keep laughing after the ones that hurt and abuse you, because they will come to an end in your life. Love those that want to see you go under, Keep your focus on what God called you to do. 


  No matter what storms you face God is right with you, you are not alone in it. 


 Storms of life come to make you strong not to break you
