Beyond the entrance of the tunnel was a massive cavern that stretched several hundred yards. The soft green glow came from a phosphorescent moss that grew along the walls, ceiling, and strange mounds. Standing almost shoulder to shoulder filling the cavern were creatures. Every monster Sael had witnessed since coming to the frozen north and then some were around. There were dwarves, humans, and he thought he saw even a few elves. They swayed slightly while standing, the strange muttering sound coming from gibberish spoken occasionally in a whispered tone. But hundreds of them happening every few seconds created the unnerving choir of voices.
