CH244: WADIYA

Wadiya was a very small country in terms of land mass and population. It was a land-locked country which shared borders with Mali to the west and Algeria to the north-east.

Wadistan, previously the Kingdom of Wadiya after the name of its Royal family, was a kingdom with  rich history spanning centuries.

The terrain in the kingdom was harsh with only a few oasis keeping the people alive.

Historically, the kingdom served as a popular trade route between the ancient Malian empire in the west and the Arab nations to the north and east. This was where most of the kingdom's income came from. The kingdom survived many challenges and tough times in its life span, most of which coming during the World wars.
