Chapter 35: Library

Reigan had been flipping through the book for a long time, and he felt frustrated because he just couldn't understand any word of it. None at all!

Another thing was the pen they gave him had no idea how to use this weird stick! Ah!

What was this small wand? The shape was like a wand, and he didn't know how to use it!

At first, when they entered, he felt really fascinated with the big tree structure. The gate was the same as the queen's arc door in which when you enter, the solid door would turn to small light particles.

It became more amazing when they were inside. Okay, let's rephrase it, it was so cool.

The floor he was on, the ground floor was almost 30 feet tall, and the bookshelves look like they were either floating, imbued, or just on the ground. The ones that seemed like floating were either on top of a thin branch or the top of the cabinet was connected on the ceiling, making one wonder how would you get it but seeing how the fairies fly to takes books, Treants using their long branches or equally heightened themselves with bookshelves, and the Dryad making the small lights to get a book, everything made sense.

The thing was that the bookshelves also had different shapes.

Most of the circle shapes were floating, the ones imbued were in "S'' shape. The one on the ground had an Arc shape, and the reverse arc in the top, between each semicircle of the bookshelves.

The lighting was that in helix lamp, and it was floating in the air. The light was warm in color, but that was only at the top and everyone who was reading got those helices. To be exact was that when you register you would receive these helices so that you could read the book they chose.

The light of the library came from the oval window, getting a cozy feeling when you are inside. It was so amazingly cool.

In every corner, there was a torch-like that seemed like it would light up if the place turned dark. Another thing was that the wall had this weird drawing and writing.

He asked Deserie what was that, she said it was for the self-protection of the library.

The tables were based on the tree's wrinkled branch, connected to the wall tree. The chairs were also connected to the table. He honestly wanted to try sitting on one, but only those with wings like fairies were the ones who could sit there.

Why didn't he choose to be a fairy? but then again, he didn't want to look like a midget so his current appearance was fine, except being called a beast girl, and the small soft mounds ruined his handsomeness. sigh.

He sat on one of the wooden chairs and like an excited kid he waited for the paper and pen. But he should take books first.

They told him that the maximum book he could take on to read we're only 5, but most of the books were thick. That is when he discovered that the helix was not just for brightening the books to read and his tail, but also a personal assistant that carries your book.

At first, he raised his vigilance because a branch sprouted out but then it turned to shape as a bookshelf below it, fitting at least 5 books.

He wanted to carry one but when he was 1 foot away, the book turned to be too heavy, he couldn't even carry it. When his face fell flat on the floor, the book disappeared.

He got scared shitless, but then when he looked back at the bookshelf where he got the book, it went back to its original place.

Then when he tried to get the sixth book, he couldn't pull it out no matter how much strength he inputs.

The place has great security, ah.

Even if the thief wanted to take one, it couldn't. He should try and learn how to make such a library, ah.

He walked toward his seat, he thought that the chair would also move but it didn't so he pulled it.

Well, that was a bit awkward.

He noticed some keep on whispering to one another while pointing in his direction. He just ignored it, what could he do? He was so handsome that's why they were talking about his handsomeness.

He sat and was about to open the book when a white, thick, and rough paper appeared in front of him, being held by a golden hand.

He peered up, seeing Deserie, he smiled as he accepted it along with the wood, he never checked or asked how to use it as he thought it was just a normal pen. After that, Deserie left.

While Princess Camilla and Lilia were at one of the floating tables! Really unfair ah!

He tried to use the pen if it could write but it didn't so maybe it was not. He wanted to ask Deserie about the pen, unfortunately, she was gone.

So he decided to look up and asked the two where the pen was, but his voice was soft even when he shouted, it was as if there was some kind of force stopping a person from making a disturbing noise, ending up being pitifully sitting on the seat where he was a moment ago.

He roamed his eyes and saw all of the people around him were writing using the same wand he was holding, so he concluded the small wand was the pen.

He had tried anything to make it write by saying 'abakadabra', 'write' or 'go wand'. He even wondered if he needed to feed it so it would poop or maybe give water to secrete any ink, but should he give it?

He wanted to take the liquid in his storage but he noticed that no one did it, so stopped himself from doing so.

He then diverted his attention to reading, only to discover that the letters were too unfamiliar.

So he called the system but it didn't even help him out! this d.mn system didn't even translate it! It should help a player like him right? But it didn't, ending him in such a predicament.

Flipping here and there but couldn't write anything.

He just kept on sighing. What was the point of being here if he couldn't even get any info?

He slams his forehead on the table. Why the heck did he choose the library? ah, he should just choose money.?

On the other hand, he needed information, but how was he supposed to get one if the information he needed was not in the language he knew!

The pen was snatched in front of him whose hand was pale and had tattoos. "This pen, you wouldn't be able to use it, even if you wanted to."

Reigan raised his head lazily, his eyes were on the lady holding the wand that was called 'pen'.

"You need to input some mana in it for this one to function," Lilia said. "You really are an idiot."

"How did I even become an idiot? ah. I didn't even know how that thing works." Reigan retorted.

Lilia rolled her eyes and gave a feather and ink. "Just shut up, and use this one."

Reigan intercepts it. He tried to write with it after dropping in the ink, and the black ink showed up. Now that's the pen.

"You couldn't read it, don't you," Lilia started with sureness.

Reigan peered at Lilia. "Who said I couldn't? I can read, just that your letters were weird."

Lilia arched her brow. "Weird? The only weird thing here is you." Then she flew by his side, then took a paper from him and wrote something on it.

Every drawing had space on it, when he checked the book he was holding to and the letter it was the same.

After that, she gave it to him. "These are the letters, alphabetically arranged. I will only read it to you once, it is upon you to learn it."

Reigan stared at Lilia. She was... actually nice...

"Listen up, idiot." Reigan's eyes gazed at the letters that Lilia point to. "A B C... Did you understand?"

"Yeah, thanks. You are actually a nice person." Reigan beamed like an idiot at Lilia.

"Tsk, idiot," Lilia whispered.

"Hey, where are you going?"

Lilia ignored him and left.

"Sigh, Reigan, Reigan, the girl is shy, from your flattery. She is blushing, that's why she left." He nodded his head feeling confident. Then write the letter in English on the paper.

He didn't know why this was the letter he knew, the only important thing was that it was the same word sentences in English when you read it.
