"Are we really in the Sect exam grounds?" Ta'Lia wondered as she looked around, feeling apprehensive as she noticed the vast space beyond the hill. There were numerous hills in the surroundings, discrete, standing on a vast stretch of plains, valleys, forests, etc.
The terrain was numerous and wonky, causing her to feel pensive.
"Don't worry, if we die, I'll at least give you company." Xu'Der smirked as he looked at Ta'Lia, striking a pose, "Unlike those you see these days, I'm loyal. My eyes only see you."
"I didn't ask you," Ta'Lia snorted, noticing that Re'Kha was silent all of a sudden. She then saw Re'Kha gaze up at the sky, frowning. As Ta'Lia followed her line of sight, she too frowned. For, the sky was clear, without any clouds.
