Attempt

Aliana's POV

Hanging from my chains, I stared at nothing in the empty room. Saline hadn't been back to see me and Krii was too busy growling to offer any help.

Turning my head I looked over at the chains holding my arms and frowned.

They were like black holes or buffers. Keeping me and my power in check.

Frustrated I started pulling on them again and the wounds in my shoulders opened up and started bleeding again.

They hadn't really closed, the metal of these chains also kept me from healing properly.

Closing my eyes I breathed deeply and tried to calm myself. The wounds in my shoulders burned but I ignored them and continued trying to relax.

When I was finally relaxed enough I focused on my right hand. I concentrated on each nerve ending and muscle and bone.

Even trying to do this was straining my weakening powers. Focusing on the bones in my wrist and hand I began moving them away from each other. Effectively breaking my hand, but slower and much more painful.

Not wanting to waste time while one hand broke I focused on the other hand and started the same process.

There were faint popping sounds in the air as the joints disconnected and moved into my muscles.

As my hands continued to break I began sliding my hand out of the cuffs slowly. My bones being broken helped a lot but it hurt every time my hand bumped the cuff.

Finally, both hands were free and the cuffs pulled tighter against the wall but my hands weren't in them anymore. I was still pinned to the wall by my ankles and the hooks in my shoulders but this was a good start.

I decided to focus on my shoulders first and leaned forward but the hooks pulled me back. Focusing again I went to work healing my hands. It actually hurt worse than breaking them, but soon they were back to normal and I reached up to one of the hooks and turned it and felt my skin turn with it.

The barbed tip made it impossible for me to push it out and I couldn't break the hook.

Sighing I focused on my ankles and went to the process of breaking the bones in my feet.

Slipping them out of the chains hurt just as much if not more than my hands but soon feet were free and the shackles pulled closer to the wall without my feet in them.

The only issue now was the hooks in shoulders and how to get free of them.

"Pull," Krii said and knew she was right.

Bracing my healed feet against the wall at my back, I started pulling myself forward. The hooks reacted immediately and tried pulling me back but I kept pulling forward and felt as the barbs started sinking into my skin.

Gritting my teeth I pushed myself forward as my shoulders bled and I almost slipped but Krii helped and together we pushed and the barbs tore out the back of my shoulders and I slammed to the floor.

Before I could even think to move, Saline was there standing above me clapping.

"Very impressive daughter, much quicker than I expected. A little excessive on the shoulders though." She said and snapped her fingers.

Out of the wall I had just escaped from the chains came again. My arms and legs were shackled and larger barbs speared through my shoulder wounds, opening my wounds even more before I was slammed back against the wall.

Saline walked towards me and patted my cheek with a smile on my face and I snarled at her.

"You are most certainly my daughter, but even so you must be punished for this. I can't be seen as giving you special treatment now can I?" She said and snapped her fingers again and a woman appeared at her side.

"I heard that you two have met before," she said and I looked at the woman remembering her to be the dark one I had seen on the G.A.C ship.

The woman looked at me and smiled before nodding her head at Saline.

"Wonderful, you two have fun." Saline said and disappeared as the woman approached me.

"I'm going to enjoy this." She said before I felt the first strike to my stomach.
