It's official. I hate school. I hate people. I hate this damn city. You know what, I just hate everything.
It took me a couple days of wandering around, but I finally found the damn school. Had a shit time since I didn't know where I was supposed to stay, it ended up raining at one point so I was soaked for an entire night. Slept with a few hobos in some back alleys during the night, I think they took pity on me and thought I was one of them. Which in retrospect I sort of was considering I'm homeless right now.
I tried to rob a convenience store for food but ended up getting into a fight with some white haired wannabe hero girl that I swear looked familiar. Damn that bitch had some hard kicks, and she even pulled a gun on me. Luckily Uncle Gold's escape technique turned on when I felt that my life was in danger, so I ran like hell. Some may wonder why I never use it to fight back, well it's because if I even think of attacking, it stops working. Plus I can't keep doing it, it has like some kind of interval before it works again.
I failed to get food, it was a shit day. Actually it's still a shit day. I may not need food or water to survive, but I can still feel hunger and thirst for some reason.
Back to school though, I ended up finding Senba Highschool. Supposedly I missed a day, but I don't really care much for that. Damn school kids are weird, I'm pretty sure I introduced myself normally yet everyone seems to avoid me for some reason.

FLASHBACK
"We... have a new student j-joining us today... p-please introduce yourself." The female teacher announced to the classroom. Oddly enough her face was a tad bit pale, as if she was sick.
Murmurs and small discussions ignited in the classroom in anticipation. Some were hoping it was a cute girl, others were hoping for a hot guy while a few just didn't care.
The door slid open slowly. Before the students even turned their gazes, they felt as if a spectre was standing behind them with it's bony hand gripping their hearts. The temperature of the room seemed to drop despite it being a sunny day. Some students instinctively held their breath while shivering as something entered the classroom.
It was difficult to see if it was male or female at first. As it moved, it seemed to be covered in some hazy dark fog. It was only when the phantom-like phenomenon stopped did the haze recede, revealing a dark gray haired boy that stood at about 5'7. His blood red eyes were hard to notice as it was difficult to look at them directly. However those that were able to glimpse into them felt like they were lost in a sea of emptiness. His eyes were empty as if he were a walking corpse.
He wore the standard school uniform that seemed to be thrown on clumsily without much thought. He had a red and black scarf wrapped around his neck along with a strange small gilded cage hanging off his belt. It was probably violating the dress-code but people were probably too afraid to inform him.
All of a sudden the dead eyes seemed to gain life for a moment as a wave of ghastly intensity washed over everyone.
"Wave Aversis. Pleasure to meet you." Wave greeted with a small bow before the life in his eyes vanished. No one proceeded to move or speak. Noting the odd silence, his gaze moved to the teacher in the room.
"HIIII!!!!!" Said teacher immediately yelped at the attention.
"Seat?" He asked, trying to remain formal.
Instead of speaking, the teacher robotically raised her arm outwards towards the room as if to indicate that he could sit anywhere.
Nodding his head, the gray haired teen began moving. As he approached the seats, the ones he was nearing broke out in a cold sweat. His empty eyes began to sweep the class, however one student that his gaze landed on couldn't seem to take it anymore and jumped out of his seat before fleeing the classroom.
"GHOST!!!" The teen shouted out as he exited the classroom leaving Wave mildly confused.
"Huh?" Wave tilted his head and shrugged, attributing it to be just him not understanding social norms. 'Maybe he was just in the wrong class'. Wave thought to himself before taking the abandoned seat for himself.

After that people have been avoiding me for some reason despite my attempts of 'trying' to socialize. I guess my introvertedness keeps people away or something. Oh well I don't need people to talk to, besides I've noticed that I sometimes have bouts of uncontrolled rage lately so I lash out when I don't mean to.
Speaking of socializing, I have no idea how I'm speaking their language. In the past Onyx would use an auto translate spell for me, but I don't have my pip-boy anymore. I'm just speaking Japanese all of a sudden, and I have no idea how. Weird.
Despite everything that's gone badly so far, there does seem to be one piece of good news. I have procured the roof for myself. For whatever reason since I've been here, I noticed that people avoid the roof. That includes the school staff, don't know why. Maybe the roof is haunted or something, I don't see any evil spirits up here.
I set up my own tent, oddly enough none of the staff approached me despite seeing me carry it up here. I gotta admit, these adults are a lot more lenient than I thought they would be.
∞
"Did you hear? They say the roof is haunted by a ghost." A few students gossiped about the recent rumors of some sort of entity occupying the roof.
"I heard it was an evil spirit."
"I took a look up there once and saw it! It was huge with glowing red eyes!"
"I didn't even reach the top of the stairs! When I got close, there was some kind of monsterous growling behind the door..."
In reality the growling actually came from Wave's stomach. He really couldn't understand how he could get hungry, yet not need food to survive.
To appear clean, he learned a slightly disgusting yet effective trick. He barfed up souls and rolled around in them before cleaning it back up. Somehow the souls removed all the dirt and grime from his clothes so that he wouldn't smell like the hobo he was.
Wave continued sleeping on the roof of the school which became known as a haunted place where even the janitor was too afraid to go to.
Eventually Wave realized the reason that people were avoiding him but didn't care much. He wasn't exactly in the mood to socialize with people to begin with, he just kept going through the motions as the days continued to pass by.
There were a few odd things that he couldn't explain though. Like whenever it came time for tests and exams, he would always be able to know the answer without actually having any knowledge on the subject. It puzzled him, but he chalked it up to one of the mysteries he'll never be able to solve such as how he can speak Japanese without ever learning it.
On a side note, he finally realized what world he was in. Honkai Impact, a completely screwed world with baddass girls and tragedy. Of course he didn't give a damn, he just wanted to finish his damn school year so he could go back to chilling in his room for the rest of his life.
'Mm I wonder if I can steal some food from the lunch lady...' Wave thought to himself seriously with a frown that actually scared some of his classmates that noticed. It had been a week since he's eaten anything. He's quenched his thirst using the public water fountains, but he hasn't been able to deal with his perpetual hunger yet.
*GRUMBLE sfx* The abyssal rumbling escaped from his gut, causing the students and teacher alike to jump in fright.
Wave ignored everyone else as usual and slammed his hands on his desk. 'I need food.' his eyes reflected ghastly flames for a moment before he made his way out the room with his priorities set on sustenance.
Obviously everyone was too afraid to stop the walking nightmare from exiting the room, however when he passed by a girl with dark purple hair and indigo eyes; he glanced at her for a moment noticing that she was looking directly at his eyes. There was a silent moment where their eyes remained locked before Wave quickly broke it off as he felt uncomfortable with the sudden eye contact. Most people wouldn't be able to look at him long out of fear. This made him unused to eye contact, especially with strangers.
Unsure of how to feel about it, Wave continued to leave the room in search of food.

"NOOOO!!!!" I cried out in despair as I was on my knees in front of a pile of trash bags.
They threw it all out. All the uneaten leftovers were in these bags. Such a waste!
One of my hands unconsciously reached out towards the trash, yet it was stopped by another hand.
I still have my own dignity damnit... Then again dignity won't fill my stomach
I stared at the pile of garbage with a piercing stare. This continued for a moment before I closed my eyes, tears threatening to spill from my eyes.
Damn it, I need to get ahold of myself. I haven't fallen so far that I'd be willing to eat literal garbage!
With a deep exhale, I slowly stood up and reluctantly walked away from the pile of trash.
I considered getting a job or something on my days off, but I'm not exactly fond of 'people' in general. Hell I couldn't even hold eye contact with that girl earlier. Now that I think about it, I've never really taken a look at my classmates, or paid attention to any other students.
Eh, who cares. Fuckem.
Maybe I should make another attempt at stealing food from some convenience store again. I doubt I'd run into that crazy white haired tuna girl again. But the question is, will I get expelled if I get caught? It'd be bad if sis won't let me come back because I failed to pass the year.
*Rumble sfx* I scowled at my gut as it let out another growl.
Well, I just need to not get caught then. To the city!

Walking around the commercial district of Nagazora, Wave was planning on sneakily stealing a sandwich or something from a random convenience store. His eyes set on a place called Mini Stop. He thought it through, he would just walk in and grab something, then casually walk out. People wouldn't expect a school student to openly steal right?
Before he made his way in, his eyes blinked for a moment as he noticed another place across the street. Some kind of place called Homu Land, it looked like an arcade. Curiosity as a gamer got the best of him as he went over to check it out.
"Hm?" Besides the generic stuff like bowling, crane games, air hockey, etc. He didn't really recognize any of the brands. He looked over at the actual arcade machines. There were a few zombie shooters, racing games and fighting games.
Following the sound of quick button taps and joystick swerves, he noticed a short, light gray haired girl on one of the machines. His eyes widened a little at her impossibly precise movements as she completely wrecked the other player in the fighting game. It reminded him of when he played against the droids in his free time. The similarity was uncanny, except the girl wasn't a robot.
"Gah! Screw this, I swear you're cheating somehow!" The other player on the other side of the machine raged.
"The Bronya believes that there is a 100% chance that you are just a sore loser."
"Yeah, yeah screw you too little brat." The guy flipped her off before stomping away, leaving the girl alone in her victory. Oddly enough, she didn't show any outward joy from her victory, he guessed that it wasn't a challenge for her.
A thought flashed by causing Wave to smirk evilly. "Hey, kid." he walked up to the girl with a disarming smile that looked completely evil.
"You seem like you're looking for a challenge and he obviously wasn't enough." he commented
"The Bronya is listening." Bronya responded without a change in her expression.
"How about a bet. 5,000 yen on whoever can win at this game." He suggested. He didn't have that much money, but he could always run if he actually lost. He had faith in his own gaming abilities.
"The Bronya believes that there is a 99.999% chance that you will lose."
"Then let's play." Wave confidently smirked as he made his way to the other side of the machine.
Wave look down to the side of the machine that still had tokens from the guy that stormed off earlier. He felt some relief because he thought this was a free to play game but he guessed he was wrong. Inserting one of the 'free' tokens, he got ready to play.
[YOU LOSE!]
Unexpectedly, he lost the first round.
"The Bronya is unimpressed." He could hear her monotone voice from the other side.
"I was just warming up." He actually trying to get a feel for the controls since he had never played this before. "It's two out of three, I just need to win the next two." she didn't respond to that.
The second round began and he was immediately pushed on the defensive. Obviously the girl had more experience in this game than him. Not only that, he felt like she really was a robot however he had experience playing with robots.
He began to sweat a little as his health bar continued to drop slowly. He felt as if she was mechanically taking him apart.
Unknowingly to him, his eyes began shimmering molten light. All of a sudden he felt as if he knew each and every possible move she could make before she even made them.
The one sided fight was reversed as Wave continued to systematically destroy the little girl.
[YOU WIN!]
"Told you I was warming up."
"The Bronya will take this seriously now."
"Bring it on Bronya-chan~" He sang out evilly as he never noticed his eyes shimmering molten light.
And that was how he made enough money to buy food for the day.
