Frozen in Time? Discovery of a new race

Hey everyone,  Novaflame6_Badal here. So you could call this sort of a rewrite of Alien Warriors of Metropolis.  I've switched up a few things though. There are Saiyan characters in this story, just not the typical ones. Before we get started... here is a poll for you guys concerning the story:

What Saiyan/human or Saiyan/alien pairings would you like to see?

Goten/Bulla

Trunks/Rocket

Daikon/Zatanna

Other (leave a comment)

The only element of Black Clover that's in this story is the magic our main character and those like him will use. So just getting that out of the way. Don't murder me in the comments please.

As you can tell from the title, Supergirl will be with the main character as the main pairing. I'm leaving Superboy and Miss Martian together because that's the best natural fit for either of them. I'm mainly focusing on 5 pairings, so whoever the saiyan characters end up with is up to you guys.  And just as a rule, male characters can't end up with another male, vice versa with female characters... I don't write those type of stories, just my preference.

Anyways... I don't own Dbz/Kai/ DBS or Young Justice/Justice League and their characters,  I only own the OC's (I have permission to use 2 characters owned by ComparedDreadx).

Metropolis, U.S.A

Time: 4:30 p.m.

Day: March 6th, 2014

A blonde haired and blue eyed teen flew through the sky as she went about her daily patrol. This blonde haired beauty wore a long blue sleeved shirt with a giant red letter S in the middle of the shirt. She also had a red skirt on, matching boots, and a red cape to go with her light skin.

This was Kara Zor El or Kara Kent, the cousin of famed hero of Metropolis known as Superman. She was going about her normal business, patrolling the city as she had done so many times before. It had been a full year since she had been broken out of her state of Cryostasis. And in that year, so much had happened. First, she learned that she had been asleep in Ice for nearly 30 years, 2nd, she learned that Krypton had been destroyed since she began her long slumber.

The 3rd thing that'd happened was she joined a younger superhero team that often went on recon missions, while the justice league took care of any super villains that threatened the populace. Both teams worked together at times though whenever the earth was threatened by an intergalactic being or a meta human as some beings were called. The earth had been attacked numerous times by the likes of: The Injustice League, Maxima, Trigun, Superboy Prime, Doomsday, Several other villains, and then... most recently, Darkseid before he fled back to Akopolis.

There was a sense that the peace earth and Metropolis enjoyed would only be temporary however. It had been eerily quiet in terms of hearing from the villains. Most of them were keeping a low profile these days, ever since Darkseid's attack on earth. Thankfully, Superman and the Justice League had arrived to help them fight off the Tyrant. For now, he'd been driven back from the earth.

But, everyone knew that it was only a matter of time until he attacked again.

"[Sighs] So much has happened in the last year.. I just hope nothing else crazy happens.,"Supergirl said aloud to herself.

She continued flying until she received a message about an urgent matter. Slightly groaning in annoyance, the kryptonian put a finger to her ear receiving the message to return to mount Justice.

"Yes?," Supergirl answered.

"Yeah Supergirl, it's Robin. Bats says all young Justice members are to return to mount justice immediately.," The boy wonder said.

The maiden of steel raised an eyebrow in confusion at this. It was pretty sudden for them to all be called back immediately.  Something must have come up.

"Return? Why so suddenly?," She asked.

" I was told we have a new mission.," Robin said over the intercom.

"A new mission huh? I wonder what it could be? Tell the others I'm on my way.," Supergirl said.

"Roger that, Supergirl.," Robin said in response on the other end.

The caped girl hero sighed in exasperation.  They finally had a break, and now another mission? She shrugged, that was just the life of a superhero sometimes. She then stopped and then took off flying in the other direction, heading back to mount Justice.

"May as well see what this new mission is about.," Supergirl said.

Timeskip: an hour later...

Location: Mount Justice- Young Justice League HQ

Time: 5:30 p.m.

Back at the base, the team all gathered into the briefing room alongside Green Arrow and Black Canary. Red Tornado came in a moment later as the team was briefed on their new mission.

" So what's the new mission bats?," Robin asked.

Batman briefly scowled at Robin, but he knew he meant no harm by it. The team expected batman to speak, but instead it was wonder woman who spoke to them.

"The league has picked up an abnormally high energy reading originating from somewhere near Iceland. We'll need you to go investigate it.," Wonder Woman said.

The teens looked at each other before Batman spoke up.

"It could another Meta Human so be careful. We just need you to investigate what it is and then report back to the base.," Batman said.

"Once we know what we're potentially dealing with here, the league will handle it.," Superman said.

That annoyed the teens, though they did their best not to show it. They felt as though they were always being underestimated and treated like kids by the Justice League. Though it wasn't as bad as it was at first, it was still noticeable. The team would prove themselves this time, and when they did, the league would have to take them seriously.

"Understood bats, we'll look into it.," Robin said.

Batman then nodded as the screen then returned to a map of the world soon after. Robin then turned to the teens gathered there. They couldn't all go, so they'd have to pick and choose who went on this mission. Some of them would have to stay behind and watch the base. Since Supergirl was just found in ice about a year ago, it was only natural that she should go.

The other members who were chosen to go on this mission were Aqualad, Rocket, Blue Beetle, Zatanna, Wondergirl, Static, and Robin. Zatanna was coming along mainly due to the fact she was a magician, so magic was her speciality.

The teens then headed towards the hangar to take a ship to where they needed to go. Miss Martian offered to take them in her bioship as it would be easier for them to travel there in.

"I can take you there, it'll be easier to travel there if I came with.," She said.

They couldn't argue with that, so they let her come too. This also meant Superboy would be coming along, because wherever Miss Martian went, Superboy followed. This left Kid Flash,  Artemis, Empress, Red Arrow, Starfire, and Beast Boy left to watch the base. The teens who were selected to go on this recon mission then left via Miss Martian's Bio ship.

On the way there, Supergirl couldn't help but to wonder what this recon mission was about. She knee the League had wanted them to do some reconnaissance,  but they were very... vague about what it was for. At least... that's how it seemed like to her eyes.

"I understand they want us to do recon, but... why in Iceland? Isn't it cold there?," the blonde heroine thought puzzled.

Wondergirl saw the puzzled look on her friend's face, she was obviously thinking about something. She just wanted to know what it was that her friend was thinking about.

"Are you okay over there, Supergirl?," Wondergirl asked.

Supergirl looked up toward her and answered her friend's question. She didn't want to worry her at all. That was the last thing she wanted to do.

"Oh, it's nothing major. It's just..," She started and then trailed off.

"Just ... what?," Wondergirl questioned.

"I get that the league sent us on this recon mission, I really do. But... doesn't it seem like they were.. I don't know... kinda vague with explaining it?," Supergirl replied.

Wondergirl raised an eyebrow at this, she'd never thought of that before. Though, she was still convinced the League must have had a good reason for doing so.

"Supergirl I get that you're concerned they didn't explain everything, but I'm sure they had a good reason for doing so...  That said, I do wonder what the watchtower was picking up that they'd need to send us to Iceland to investigate.," Wondergirl said.

Zatanna had and Miss Martian had been scanning the area in which they were flying towards for awhile now. The teens were wondering if they found anything yet. So far, nothing had turned up. However, after a few minutes of flying around, their ship's sensors picked up something. It was... a signal of distress? Out here in the middle of nowhere in iceland? That seemed to be quite strange.

" What in the world?," Miss Martian said confused.

Superboy went up next to her, wondering what was wrong. He approached her to make sure everything was okay.

"What's wrong? Is everything okay?," Superboy asked.

Miss Martian nodded back to her boyfriend. She was just confused,  why would there be a call of distress out here? Supergirl and the other teens came to the front to see where the signal of distress came from. As supergirl looked at the coordinates, she scowled. These coordinates were...  they were coming from the fortress of solitude.

"These coordinates... they're coming from... the fortress of solitude?! But.. how is that possible? That's a place only Kryptonians can get to.. the last time I checked..," Supergirl said thoroughly confused.

Wondergirl decided to speak up, voicing the only solution to this dilemma. Since everyone was confused about the signal of distress coming from the fortress of solitude, there was just one way to find out for sure why the signal was coming from there.

"Well, just sitting here won't solve anything. There's only one way to find out why that signal of distress is coming from the fortress of solitude.... And that's to go in and find out for ourselves.," Wondergirl reasoned.

The others realized that she was right and decided they would do what Wondergirl was suggesting.  Miss Martian then landed the bio ship just outside of the fortress as the hatch opened. The teens then walked out a d stared at the fortress for a moment. The group then pressed on forward, entering the abandoned fortress.

Inside the fortress of solitude...

The inside of the fortress was much like they expected it to be. It was empty and cold, but as they ventured around further...

"Well , this is e-exactly l-like you said it would be Supergirl.,"Wondergirl said through chattering teeth.

"It is very cold here.," Rocket said.

Aqualad and Blue Beetle had been oddly quiet for the entirety of the trip so far, that didn't mean they didn't feel anything though. It just was odd how quiet they'd been. Normally they'd at least say something, but so far, nothing. Zatanna had been quiet too, but the others knew she was sensitive to magic.. so most likely, she was looking for any traces of magical activity.

As they continued to look around, Robin stopped when he saw something they never expected to see.

"Uhh.. guys?," Robin said.

Supergirl turned towards him and asked him what was wrong.

"What is it, Robin? Something wrong?," Supergirl asked.

"Yeah... the rest of you.. may want to come see this.," Robin said slightly sweating.

Everyone else came and looked in the direction Robin pointed to. To their shock and surprise there was light nearly as bright as the sun coming from further below the fortress. As they ventured down, Supergirl noticed that it was warmer than it should have been down there.

That wasn't the only thing that was bizarre though. There was writing along the walls that none of the teens there recognized or could even read. Upon inspecting them, Zatanna came to the realization that the writings were runes as in magical runes used for spells. There were also images along the walls depicting a tragedy of an ancient race. The images lead up to one point, where that race's world was destroyed after they had fled their planet for earth.

Zatanna widened her eyes as she realized what these images were. They were all part of an enormous mural. Supergirl felt her expression soften as Zatanna decrypted what she could from the images along the walls. It told of the tragic story of a lost race and their near extinction by the hands of a familiar tyrant in space.

And from the depiction of the images, many of them died very young, not even reaching adulthood.

As they kept searching around the place, zatanna felt traces of magic. She alerted the others as they became cautious.

"Where is the magic coming from, Zatanna?," Aqualad asked finally speaking up.

The others looked to her as they awaited her answer. The raven haired heroine just pointed ahead of them towards a long staircase that lead to another room above them. The others looked in the direction she pointed towards. That was where they needed to go.

"It's... coming from up there. It's faint.. but I'm sensing some very powerful magic coming from up there.," Zatanna said pointing.

The others nodded and the group ascended the stairway towards where she felt the magic coming from. Supergirl and the others didn't know what to make of this, but they trusted Zatanna, so they'd look into this for her sake.

A little while later...

The group continued to ascend the long staircase towards the room ahead of them. It had been over an hour since they started walking up this staircase. This is when Supergirl and Superboy heard it, a sound like... a heartbeat?! They were shocked, but also confused at this.

"What the-?! Do... you guys hear that?," Supergirl asked with her eyes widened.

"It.. sounds like .. a hearbeat?! Who's heartbeat is that?," Superboy asked.

The others were confused because they never heard it, at first. They just chalked it up to kryptonians having super hearing, but then.. they heard it too the closer they got towards the top. When they entered the room at the top, it was like the other rooms in that it was lit up like the sun was out. The one difference being there was ice everywhere, much like the rest of the fortress of solitude.  The group looked up, and there in the center of the room was... "him".

*Insert Black Clover Ost- Licht's theme*

Suspended in ice with an enormous dome of light surrounding it, was a boy. The teen boy looked to be around Supergirl's age with Dark skin, elongated ears, and Long Dark Blue hair that went down to his mid back.  He wore strange clothes too. A black hoodie, with an army green parka styled coat, a golden yellow belt, black pants, silver combat boots, steel gray gloves, and a blue and gold sheath for a sword strapped to his back.

The heartbeat sound they heard still continued to reverberate around them as the teens stared in shock at what they were seeing.

"What the heck?!," Static said shocked.

"Is that a person?!," Rocket asked surprised.

"What's he doing up there?," Superboy asked.

"Whoever that is... he seems to be asleep somehow.," Aqualad said.

"Was he the source of the magic you felt Zatanna?," Wondergirl asked.

Zatanna nodded as she walked closer to the Ice. As she neared it, she felt the magic. It... wasn't human. This mana or magical power (energy) did not belong to a human being, that meant.. this person they found was something aside from human and had been stuck here for a very.. very, long time. Zatanna had to temporarily jump back, due to how strong the Mana she felt was.

"Zatanna! Are you ok?!," Supergirl asked concerned.

Zatanna nodded as she caught her breath before speaking up again.

"This.. This mana...," Zatanna began.

"By Mana, you mean... magical power, right?," Blue Beetle said finally speaking.

Zatanna nodded, then continued her explanation.

"That Mana.. It's not human.," Zatanna said.

"Not human?," Superboy asked.

"You mean... this person here... isn't even a human?," Miss Martian asked.

Zatanna shook her head in response to this.

"No, he's not. I know it sounds crazy, but I can tell that magic isn't even remotely human! It's... something far beyond human.," Zatanna said.

Supergirl stood there, staring at the person in the ice. How long had they been in there? And they were underneath the fortress of solitude the entire time, while no one knew about it.

"We should get him down from there.," Supergirl said.

Zatanna nodded. She wasn't sure what she could do exactly, but she couldn't just leave this person here. It was like they'd been frozen in time, unable to move for.. who knows how many years.

Supergirl helped Zatanna, although it was rather difficult since kryptonians were historically weak to magic. Through much trial and error, Supergirl and Zatanna managed to get  the floating icicle drenched in the swirling dome of magic down to the ground. Thankfully, he was still sleeping when they recovered the icicle. Now they had to somehow get the icicle back to mount Justice. Superboy offered, but Wondergirl steeped in to carry the icicle for him.

*end ost*

"It's drenched in magic, Superboy.  And last I checked, you kryptonians were very weak to magic. This guy's drenched in it. No offense.," Wondergirl said.

Superboy went to say something, but found that he couldn't. She was right, he'd probably drop it due to his weakness against magic. He stayed silent and let Wondergirl handle transportation of the icicle. Strangely, the sword that was embedded into the stone cobble floor of the room disappeared when the icicle was being transported out of the fortress of solitude.

As they exited the room, they couldn't help but to admire all of the murals and runic writing on the walls of the brightly lit up area beneath the main part of the Kryptonian hideout. Supergirl wondered about something ever since they found this teenaged boy with the dark skin and the long ears...

"I can't help but to wonder if there are others of his kind that survived and are frozen on earth somewhere?," She thought to herself.

The teens quickly exited the fortress and returned to the bio ship that miss martian had parked outside with the icicle housing the mysterious teen inside. As they closed the hatch and took off, Supergirl found that she became rather drowsy and drifted off to sleep.

Watchtower

With the Justice League

The league had just returned to the watchtower from their normal patrols. Superman returning from Metropolis,  Batman returning from Gotham, Wonder Woman returning from Coastal City, along with the other league members all returning in some form or another from a natural disaster or a job they were requested to make an appearance for.

It was rather obvious, Batman was in abit of a foul mood upon returning. That was evident as the team who was sent on the reconnaissance mission just reported in.

"You're late.," Batman said.

"Y-yeah sorry about that Bats.," Robin said apologizing.

Batman scowled before feeling a hand from both Superman and Wonder Woman on his shoulders. He sighed and calmed himself.

"Did you find out what the source of that abnormal power was?," Batman asked.

Robin started sweating, but he knew that dodging the question wouldn't help. He silently gulped and told batman what they found.

"Actually bats... we did. We found the source.. but it wasn't what we expected.," Robin replied.

"What do you mean by it wasn't what you expected?," Batman asked.

"It... was a person. Or rather.. someone who was frozen in ice for what seemed like a very long time.," Robin explained.

This time Superman spoke up as the rest of the league members listened.

"A person frozen in ice? Can you tell us more?," Superman asked.

Robin nodded.

"Zatanna investigated and came to the conclusion that the strange power source you were picking up from the watchtower was.. mana or.. magical power.," Robin said.

"Magic? And it was coming from where we sent you?," Batman asked.

"Yeah. But.. the magic was coming from the person we found. We thought it was just like any other magician's... boy were we wrong.," Robin said.

Superman and Wonder Woman were intrigued now, the same was true for Shazam who had just returned.

"You're saying it wasn't normal magic?," Superman asked.

"N-No it wasn't.  That magic... according to Zatanna, it wasn't even human. It was... something far beyond a human's ability to command.," Robin said nervously.

Wonder Woman became interested now. Magic that wasn't human? That  was right up her alley.

"What do you mean by non human magic?," Wonder Woman asked.

"All I can tell you is that it was strong enough to put Zatanna on guard around it. Not sure how, but she recognized that it didn't belong to a human being. Which means that whoever or whatever this person we found in ice is... He's something other than a human.," Robin said.

This gained the rest of the league's attention. Everyone listened intently to the rest of the conversation.

"Where is this person now?," Batman asked.

"About that... We decided that we couldn't just leave him there, so we're taking him back to the base.," Robin said.

Batman said nothing, he just scowled at the screen before responding.

"Very well, but the league will have to come and investigate.," Batman said.

Supergirl then interrupted.

"Batman, please if you're coming to take him to the watch tower or turn him into the authorities... at least wait until he wakes up to turn him in.," Supergirl said.

Superman then spoke as he was surprised his cousin was going against Batman. He just wanted to understand what Kara was thinking.

"Kara, why are you defending this person who you don't even know? He could be dangerous to us.," Superman said.

Kara visibly became angry with her cousin at this. How could he say that?!

"And how can you judge him like that?! He hasn't done anything wrong! Besides that... I may have heard a voice from him inside my head as we were trying to move him....," Kara told her cousin.

"A voice?  What kind of voice?," Superman asked.

"This voice sounded... sad, and angry at something which happened to him and his people. Something.. tragic happened to them Kal, and because of that.. there aren't many of his kind left.," Supergirl (kara) said.

"Kara, how would you know something like that?," Superman asked.

"Because I saw it, Kal! There were writings, images, murals on the walls beneath the fortress of solitude.  They showed the tragic history of how their race came to earth and.. how nearly two thirds of their entire race was wiped out. How their planet... their home was destroyed, just like ours was! And the tyrant it depicted... well.. I guarantee you can guess who it is without even having to say it.," Supergirl said balling her hands into fists.

Superman felt his blood like his blood was going to boil at hearing this. If what Kara said was really true, Darkseid was responsible for nearly wiping out an entire race of people that didn't even do anything to him. And that was... unforgivable.

Supergirl then continued by suggesting something either no one thought of or.. they never wanted to consider until now.

"If we found one of them, who's to say there aren't more of them on earth in the same situation as the person we found?," Supergirl suggested.

The league heard this and Batman thought about that possibility, however small it may have been. If there were more of the same kind of beings as the one the team was taking back to Mount Justice, that could potentially redefine what exactly a meta human was. It could also be a massive headache to deal with if this mysterious race was angered enough to go rogue like so many others before them had. But... it could also potentially help the league too for when Darkseid returned.

And everyone had a sense that it was only a matter of time until that happened. Superman sighed, Kara had never been this willful before but this time... she may have been right.

"We'll meet you back at Mount Justice, the league will need to determine for themselves whether this person can be of help to us or not.," Superman said.

Supergirl nodded on the other end, handing the space back to Robin. Unfortunately,  Robin didn't have much else to say after that.

"Was there anything else to report?," Batman asked.

"No sir. I believe that was all.," Robin said.

"I see.. The league will be sending representatives to see your "guest" up close here soon, tell everyone to be prepared.," Batman said.

Robin nodded. With nothing else to say, Batman then ended the transmission. He was seen rubbing his temples on his forehead in slight aggravation.  The original members of the Justice league decided to make the trip to Mount Justice to see this mysterious person the team had found up close. Those members were Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter.

The 6 members then turned to the rest of the league and addressed the situation.

"The six of us are going to investigate the mystery being the team brought back with them to their headquarters.  We'll see if we can determine whether he's a friend or a foe.," Superman said.

"What Supergirl said has me a little concerned, is there anyone willing enough to look into that matter?," Batman asked.

Shazam, Hawkgirl, Icon, Cyborg, Jessica Cruz (Green Lantern), and  Aquaman stepped forward.

"You can leave that to us, Batman. We'll look into it while you're away.," Shazam said.

"Thank you for doing so. We will be back shortly. Hopefully, we'll have a positive answer for you all.," Wonder Woman said.

The other Justice League members nodded before watching the six founding members of the League head towards earth via boom tubes.

Back at Mount Justice, the team had arrived and had quickly moved to place their guest in the basement of their headquarters.  As expected, the icicle floated into the air and the room lit up like where they found him.

There was something different this time though, icicle... it began to crack?! Alarmed, Supergirl and Wondergirl went to prevent it from shattering only to be blown back by the enormous domed force of magic that spilled forth from it. The dome of magic then surrounded the teen as if it were protecting him. As it surrounded him, it started reverberating with his heartbeat.

Getting back up, the girls noticed that there was an orange aura surrounding the teen. Yet, his eyes were still closed. Looking up, they noticed he had what looked like tattoos on his face with tribal looking lines coming from below his eyes to the lower half of his face.

Supergirl and Wondergirl stood there, unsure of what was going on at the moment. The rest of the team most likely felt the disturbance and rushed to the basement when they heard the sounds of a heart beating.

Powergirl, a newer member to the team had just arrived back at mount Justice from a mission. She expected to see her best friend, Kara, but was slightly disappointed when she didn't see her. Powergirl had shorter hair, the same blue eyes as Kara, a white shirt, blue shirts, red gloves, matching boots, and cape. This is Powergirl a.k.a Karen Starr. She's another version of Supergirl from earth 2, but had come to earth 16 some time ago after escaping her ruined future along with Huntress (another version of Batgirl also from earth 2).

A/N: I'm having them be best friends cuz it just makes more sense that way even though, Supergirl and Powergirl are technically the same person from different versions of earth.

Beast Boy and Raven were the first ones to greet her. Looking around, she wondered where Kara was at.

"Sup Powergirl? You just get back.," Beast Boy greeted the heroine.

"Yeah. Where's Kara? I thought she'd be here with you guys...," Powergirl asked.

"You mean .. they didn't tell you?," Raven asked.

Powergirl raised an eyebrow in question at this. She was confused by Raven's question.

"Tell me what?," the blonde heroine asked.

"Oh just that Supergirl went on a recon mission to iceland. She's back though!," Beast Boy quickly said upon seeing the near death glare Powergirl shot at him.

"Where is she?," Powergirl asked.

"S-She's in the the the b-ba-basement with Wondergirl.," Beast Boy said sweating.

"Okay... why is she down there?," Powergirl asked.

" I heard it's because they brought back some mysterious person they found frozen in the fortress of solitude. But this person wasn't normal, they were something other than human.," Raven told her.

She would have asked her more, but it was then that the Justice league arrived. The league members saw powergirl and greeted her. Superman walked up to her and greeted the rest of the team with the other league members behind him.

"Karen, I see you're back for your mission. Excellent work.," Superman said in greeting.

"Thanks Supes, but you can save the the congrats on your mission business. You're here with the other league members for a reason, right?,"Powergirl said.

"Straight to the point I see. And yes we are here to see the mystery person Kara and the others brought back with them from their mission to Iceland.," Superman said.

Powergirl gave the man of steel a questioning look after hearing this.

"And why were they sent to Iceland? The only things up there this time of year are snow and Ice.," Powergirl asked.

This time Wonder Woman spoke up to answer. She explained their reasoning too for sending a few members of the team there as well.

"The League had picked up a source of abnormal energy coming from Iceland and since the league was busy with other matters and jobs at the time, we sent a few members of the team to investigate the source of that power for us.," Wonder Woman explained.

"We never expected them to find someone frozen in ice up there though, much less within the fortress of solitude for that matter.," Batman said.

"From what Supergirl explained, this individual has some peculiar magic enveloping him while still asleep.," Green Lantern Said.

"They magi- what the?!," Powergirl started but was interrupted when she heard something.

"There something wrong, powergirl?," Flash asked.

"You seem troubled by something.," Martian Manhunter said.

Powergirl paused before speaking up again as all of the league members and the rest of the team heard it, a heartbeat.

"Is... that a heartbeat I'm hearing?," Powergirl asked slightly sweating.

The others nodded. It was time to go see the teams guest that they brought back from iceland. Everyone then followed the league members down to the basement, where Supergirl, Wondergirl, Robin, Zatanna, Superboy, Aqualad, Static, Blue Beetle, Miss Martian,  and Rocket were all waiting and staring at something floating in the air. Powergirl's eyes widened in shock when she looked up and saw what the others were looking at.

"Is that a person up there?!," Powergirl said in shock.

Everyone stared at the boy in the air surrounded by a dome of magic and an orange aura in surprise and shock.

"So... this is him huh?," Superman asked.

Supergirl nodded. That's when the league members noticed how bright the room was, it was like the sun was in there.

"So, has it always been this bright in here?," Empress asked.

"No. It became like this when we brought him down here. The room lit up with Runic writing on the walls.," Wondergirl said.

"It has something to do with his magic I think. Depending on what type it is.. it could change its environment to fit with that of its weilder.," Zatanna reasoned.

Batman looked to martian Manhunter,  who nodded. They needed to be sure that this young man wouldn't turn on them.

Martian Manhunter levitated towards the young man who was suspended in the air and surrounded by a dome of magic power. He looked back towards Superman, who nodded. That was the signal to proceed.

He then used his abilities to peer into the young man's mind. The first thing he heard was a voice of anger, but also... sadness. It was the sort of sadness that only comes from a person losing a loved one to death. He paused as he heard one very familiar name within the young man's thoughts.

"Tyrant! Darkseid.. YOU WILL PAY!!!! YOU WILL SUFFER FOR TAKING MY FATHER AND PEOPLE FROM ME! It's as my father said... our people... us Arkynorean Dark Elves, we will make you pay for what you did!," the young man's voice sounded off in his head.

Martian Manhunter looked back towards the others and relayed what he heard inside the teen's head.

"This young man, he is in anguish. He's also furious at one name in particular. It would seem that many of his people were killed by one person. I don't believe I have ever felt such rage directed towards one person as I have upon entering this young man's mind.," Martian Manhunter said.

Supergirl's eyes softened at this. She had a feeling that this young man was in pain and anguish over something, she just didn't know what. Now that she heard what it was, she felt like her heart went out towards the young man.

Even Superman looked like his features softened after hearing about the pain the teen was in. And he could at least sympathize with the rage the teen must have felt towards whoever this person was that killed many of his kind.

"Did you find out what he is if he's not human?," Batman asked.

The martian nodded and relayed what he heard. When he did, wonder woman widened her eyes in shock. She'd heard of the type of being this teen was, but... they were thought to have been extinguished, wiped out, for the longest time.

"This young man is known as an Arkynorean. But he is of the Dark Elf descent.," Martian Manhunter said.

Superman now widened his eyes. He'd heard of them before, but he thought Arkynoreans were just a myth. He never thought they'd actually be real.

"An Arkynorean? How's that possible? They were extinct, right?," Superman asked.

The martian shook his head.

"No. There are a handful of survivors that escaped their planet's destruction.  They were nearly all killed in a mass genocide caused by Darkseid.," He said.

At hearing that name, all of the Kryptonians in the room felt their blood begin to boil. None of them felt their blood boiling more than Kara though, she was clenching her fists so hard that blood begin to trickle from them. If that was true... then no wonder the teen was angry and sad.

Martian Manhunter then turned back to the teen. He felt extremely sorry for him, having nearly his entire race wiped out like that. Still, he needed to find out more. His glowed red as he began to dive into the teen's head and see what happened to this young man.

To be continued....

Hey guys, I hope you enjoyed this first chapter of the new story. Kinda had this idea floating around in my head for awhile, so I made a story out of it.

The MC's race will be introduce in more detail next chapter as we find out what happened to his people. The Black Clover elements are obviously magic and him being an elf. The saiyan characters are coming but here's what I was thinking in terms of pairings:

MC x Supergirl

Oc (male) x Wondergirl

Oc (female) x Trunks

Oc (male) x Powergirl

Goten x Bulla or Goten x Empress

Pan x Aqualad

Oc Saiyan x Blackfire

Oc Saiyan x Rocket

The other pairings are set Goten's is the only one I'm not sure about so vote for which one of those would work better or ... comment another option for Goten.

Lastly, Goten will be the Gohan like character of this story. That's it for now. See ya in the next update!

Next time: Chapter 2- Tragedy and Rage.
