The Aurigan Solution combines the fast pace of hard-core science fiction with the complexity of political intrigue, and its focus is the historical framework of the future in which it is set.  The story chronicles a specific set of incidents that leads directly to the downfall of Humanity’s first star-spanning government - the so-called Luna Republic.
When the alien war had finally ended, a great sense of relief and optimism characterized the mood of the Human Stellar Network.  But this optimism soon gave way to disillusionment when the great oligarchs who sat in control of the Luna government did nothing to alleviate the senseless quotas and trade restrictions and, of course, burdensome taxes.  Agitation soon began.  It needed only a situation of suitable volatility to set in motion the changes that must take place.
There are moments in time around which history often swings; this story is about a few of them.
