Past is Prologue

Prologue 

It all started with human experiments in year eighteen o'nine. Scientists were extracting animal D.N.A and were testing to see if it could be made into a new type of air toxin. One day the scientists were trying out the air toxin when all of a sudden, "Dr. Malcom we have a breach in the air chamber." Some scientist said then Dr. Malcom ran and pushed a red button and when he did he pushed the other scientist in there before the doors sealed. A couple minutes went by when all of a sudden the vacuum doors busted open the scientists looked up to see a rhino with a torn lab coat saying Novis Prota industries the gas was absorbed by the clouds then it spreads across the world. The clouds would evolve the gas each time it would let some down on the cities, changing humans into different animals. A couple minutes later after the changing, the animals would turn back. People who were involved in the changing would still have the gas in their blood if they had children, doctors would not know what type of animal the person would become. Nineteen fifty-two Novis Prota built special kinds of schools around the world for the new types of humans. People who go to those schools become able to control their transformations. The nation voted to call those people shifters. Those schools would have what they call "The Carnage". It basically duals between shifters, to tell which one is superior and also whoever wins get prizes such as money a great dorm or be switched with the loser rank number if they are higher. Pre-transformations start at age of fourteen, where one day you show up with red eyes or fur. At age fifteen is when first transformation happens it is triggered by emotions, such as rage, sadness.
