"Why does Suga hyung look like he's in a good mood?" Jimin asked, looking at Yoon-gi.
"He came in early too. He's the first one to arrive." One manager seconded.
"Plus he looked like he had a long good sleep." Namjoon also joined in the conversation.
"Does this relate to the girl he brought to the dorm once?" Jimin asked again as he ate.
"Who? a girl? To the dorm?" Another manager asked.
"Ah, the girl had her hand swelling when she punched a creep outside my aunt's cafe. The dorm was closer and had her swelling hand in an ice pack." Jin intercepted, covering up for the incident.
"Remember the rules, we don't mind you bringing girls in your apartments but no girls allowed in your dorm. Please." The head manager reminded the boys to which they all agreed and nodded.
Jin elbowed Jimin's slip of the tongue and he bowed apologetically.
"Whatever it is that Suga-ssi is in good mood, it's fine as long as he can do his job today."

After practice, Suga came to Jin asking him if he's free for a drink.
"Sure, we can go to my apartment and drink there." Jin answered.
"Will Selena be there?"
Jin shook his head, "no, she's busy with stuff."
"I barely see her nowadays, are you two okay?"
"We're good. Selena's been patient with the whole thing." Jin said wiping his sweat.
Suga didn't answer, but packed his things and changed his sweaty shirt. They got in the car in silence and let Jin play music with his phone. It's the night of June and the heat of summer is now lingering. The night sky wasn't pitch dark today, and the moon came out behind the clouds. Thousand of stars plastered the sky like the army bombs in their concerts.
He smiled to himself.
"You're in a good mood lately, have you had a nice conversation with Hye-Ri?" Jin started.
Suga turned to Jin; his face bewilderment at how Jin knew that he took Hye-Ri out and had a long chat with her.
"My Aunt saw you when Hye-Ri came to the cafe. When you called in sick yesterday, I told them just give you a day off to relax your mind. I guess it went well?"
Suga shook his head and looked at the busy road ahead of them. "She's different."
"All girls are different. It's just a matter of how you perceive and understand them. Hye-Ri must have something you have in common."
"She listens, Hyung. I could have a meaningful conversation with her because I like how her mind is so mature about everything. She's tough for someone short and young for her age."
"According to my aunt, she's the same age as you. Born also in 1993."
Suga's mouth fell open, "Really? She's such around my age?"
"She's just short." Jin chuckled.
Once they parked and made their way to Jin's apartment, Jin pulled out wine from his cabinet and two glasses from the shelf. He filled the glasses halfway and gave the other glass to Suga.
"Don't you think that relationships in our work are a hindrance?" Suga started.
"I don't think so, it depends on the woman on how she can handle it. Between us, sometimes it's Selena who's the strongest one." Jin sipped on his wine and got comfortable on his sofa, while Suga stayed on the stool bar.
"Do you have plans on dating Hye-Ri?"
Suga shook his head, "it's a plus that she's independent and strong-willed. Like the media should look out for her attacks, not the other way around."
"Then what's stopping you?"
"I'm afraid she won't need me as much as I may need her."
Jin chuckled, "that's the disadvantage of dating someone who has the same mindset as you."
"What? me?" Suga scoffed.
"Yeah, you're independent on your own. You produce songs on your own. You write songs on your own. Your work is your masterpiece. While her independence is hers. Bro, you can't think of dating her unless you know her like the back of her hand."
Suga shrugged, "I don't even know the back of my hand."
"Stop being sassy with me, and go home. Selena will be home in five minutes, and I want you out by then." Jin stood up, while Suga drank his wine in one sip.
"I'm good. I'll be going now, thanks for the talk." Suga gathered his things and put on his mask.
Jin walked him towards the door and pat his friend's shoulder. "Women are hard as a rock, but when you take care of the rock they turn into precious stones. It's the matter of how you treat and care for it."
"Jagiya! Hello Suga! I thought Jin was alone that's why I hurried back. Should I leave and let you two talk?" Selena, who suddenly popped in the doorway, started to leave.
Jin took her hand and pulled him to his side, "Yoon-gi's leaving and we're done talking. Have a great night bro, see you tomorrow."
Suga nodded to Jin and Selena and took off. While going down the apartment, Suga's phone rang.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Hey, Jin gave me the address of his apartment saying you need a lift, but the guards won't let me in so I'll just wait for you outside."
"Hye-Ri?"
"Yeah, it's me. get your butt out here I'm starving."
Suga hurried down the apartment with a smile plastered on his pale face. He couldn't wait to be outside and feel the night breeze. Once outside, he saw the five-foot woman leaning on her bike, holding two helmets in her hand.
"Care to change drivers?" He asked.
"You know how to ride a bike? God where have been all my life? Come on switch places with me. My hand is killing me." Hye-Ri quickly took his bag from his shoulder. The gesture surprised him, although he let her take his bag.
"If you scratch my bike, I'm going to kill you. Understand?"
"Sheesh, why are you so violent shorty?" Suga put on his helmet, unable to take his smirk off his face.
"I could see the smirk inside that helmet, let's go before someone sees us." She strapped her helmet on again, and when Suga hopped on her bike he adjusted himself first. She hopped next behind him and then put her hand across his stomach, making him freeze.
"Well, at least I know you have a strong core." She commented as Suga started her bike.
"How do you know?"
"Your abs." She answered bluntly.

Weeks already passed and my hand was a lot better than it did days before. My boss let me in for work but since she hired additional employees she made me permanent as a cashier but I rebutted and asked to be a barista instead since I'd like to make coffee more than take orders and speak to creeps again.
While I was doing a customer's order, the cashier came to me and whispered: "Isn't he a member of BTS?"
Does the cashier not know that our boss' nephew is the eldest member of the BTS? I thought.
I glanced at the person she's talking about and saw Jung Kook. "Hey." I waved at him and gestured for him to come to my space on the counter so the customers won't notice him.
"Hey, Jin's outside. He asked me to get some pastries and coffee before we head out for our shoot." He said politely.
"Of course, what are your orders then? I'll just do it now so you can go back to your car and I'll hand it to you there."
"Is that okay? It's fine if I wait here." He said.
"It's fine, you can just wait for me there. I know Jin's car."
"Thank you, Noona." She bowed and left the money on the counter.
"Can you punch the orders?" I asked the cashier after letting her gaze at Jung Kook's silhouette.
"Do you know them?" She asked.
"No." I lied. "Three Iced Americanos, two cookies, and a biscotti for take out."
She punched the orders in the system and hurriedly got the sweets, and delicately packed them in cute boxes with a note stating to have a great day.
I, too, already finished the coffees and packed them for to go. "Do you need help?" She asked hopefully.
I looked around and thought there are not many customers around so I gestured for her to come. Outside, I spotted Jin's car instantly and when I was about a foot away the passenger window behind the driver opened and revealed Suga's handsome face.
"Hey, didn't know you're there. 'Sup?" I greeted and gave them coffee and packed desserts.
"Hello Shorty, we have filming today." Suga answered, taking the coffee off of my hand.
"Ahh, must be a busy day today. Hello everyone." I greeted. "Okay, off you go now. I don't want to be the cause of delay."
"If you're still talking, you might." Suga snickered.
I raised an eyebrow, "okay smarty pants. Move along. Safe driving. Bye-bye." I stepped back and turned to leave. I had to drag the other staff with me since she froze there looking at Jin and JK.
"How do you know them? You spoke casually to them. are you close?" She asked.
"They're a regular." I simply answered, then ignored her the rest of the shift and continued with work, I didn't like answering questions that involves them that may affect their career. I don't want to cause trouble.
My friendship with Suga should remain only as bickering friends, and I can't guarantee any more than that... I promised that to myself since that night when he rode my bike.
The smile he had on his face when I saw him coming out of the gates of the exclusive apartment made my heart flutter. That was when I realize that there's something wrong. My gut is fluttering with butterflies and I don't want this feeling...
I can't fall in love with this man. It's risky, dangerous, and scandalous.
