Chapter 66

Appearing suddenly, at the end of Hangang Park, right next to a bench that could fit three people. Hye annoyed, for having had to go there, complained, while leaving the shadow he had just created -What the hell! Why did this have to happen today?

Park Hangang, one of the busiest parks in Seoul. But looking around, Hye was surprised.

He looked straight ahead, right in the middle of the water, and as he took small steps towards the water, he muttered.

A portal about to break was right in front of Hye. Purple rays, made only of mana, constantly came out of him 'How could they let it get to this level?' Hye wondered as he looked intently around the doorway.

'Check the situation? It's more than obvious that they sent me here, just as a sacrifice. Why would it be impossible for me to leave after getting close to this portal... if I had time to get closer...'

Hye smiled as he began to levitate. -This portal should break in about an hour. And Mina is due in Lotte World in two and a half hours. Or something close to that. So, let's finish... -

-We're back sir.- Zilá said, with his head bowed and kneeling behind Hye, along with Amon, Itzal, Leslie and Laila. Like him, they were all on their knees.

-Okay, that's... What the...- After turning around, and looking at his shadows. Hye was amazed to see the huge damage they were wreaking on the park. He sighed, and exclaimed, "Hurry up and come back!"

-Yes sir!-

–…Maybe they see this, and think it was caused by the monsters in the portal… right? ...Ah, but what a thing...–

-You know what, whatever. Anyway, they couldn't link it to me, not even if they wanted to.

Turning to the portal again. Hye sighed and levitated into him as he muttered, "At least I hope they can't..."

A gigantic tunnel, was in a place so Hye was stopped, when entering the portal. As soon as he entered, right in front of him there were already four directions he could follow. But instead, he sent all his shadows that still fit in that place, hunt the monsters, from the first, third, and fourth entrance. Because on Monday, he was absolutely sure, that was where the dungeon boss was. Even because, he could feel a strong pressure being emanated from inside.

Laila went to the first entry, with another 25 shadows. And seconds after she got in there, messages like these started popping up.

[You got 75 points!]

[You got 75 points!]

[You got 75 points!]

[You have leveled up!]

[Current level 371]

[Points needed for the next level: 322]

[You got 75 points!]

[You got 75 points!]

After she was gone, Senka went to the third entry with 25 more shadows. And Karma went with another 25, for the fourth entry. So, the points that Hye was gaining, kept increasing.

[You got 75 points!]

[You got 75 points!]

[You got 75 points!]

[You have leveled up!]

[Current Level 372]

[Points needed for the next level: 320]

[You got 75 points!]

[You earned 75 points...]

As I entered the second entrance, slowly, more and more messages appeared in front of Hye [You leveled up!]

[Current level 375]

[Points needed for the next level: 321]

So when Hye reached the end of the tunnel. And he found the place where the boss was, a very wide space on all sides. So he sure as hell would have no problem fighting there. Upon placing his foot in that spot, the last system message appeared to him [You have leveled up!]

[Current level 380]

[Points needed for the next level: 343]

As he entered the cave, Hye took his hand out of his pocket, and took out his two daggers. Then, taking small steps forward, he would look for the boss around him.

"Where's this bastard hiding?" Hye muttered as he looked around.

He looked up for a second, and saw that strange being flying quickly towards him. A monster that had no face. But yes, just a big black vel, which covered his entire body, which seemed to be made only of darkness. And long nails, which even though Hye dodged, that being still managed to scratch his chest.

Then, having dodged, Hye turned quickly and unleashed a mighty attack with his daggers. He made several cuts in the direction of that monster. Cuts these, which were charged with his winter flames.

And after he had unleashed all those attacks, the monster just, strangely, disappeared, amidst the flames in the air. However, despite the message saying that the monster had been killed, it did not appear to Hye.

The following message appeared on the air [Congratulations, you completed the dungeon!]

[The portal will close in half an hour!]

Notice!

I went here to say that, from this chapter on, the number of points earned by the protagonist, for each monster killed, will be much lower than before.

Every dungeon of equal rank will give the same amount of points, with monster deaths. I'm going to do that, because I think it will make it easier for me to calculate how many levels the protagonist has advanced, and how many points he's earned. In fights, which I don't intend to show in the chapters.
