Runeblight tropics

The next day, Thelamia, Spheera and Genocide arrived at an open area.

"This feels so depressing."

the long-faced Goddess could witness that everything was desolate. The eroded and crumbled pillars were everywhere. When, she looked above the sky, the sky was blanketed by the numbing gray clouds, turning Thelamia to be even more saddened.

It was raining hard, so Spheera was acting like an umbrella with its satelite dish on top of its master's head.

Somehow, Genocide didn't mind the crystal droplets falling upon him and just flapped his sleeves. He just looked straight at the barren ruins,

"Right, I guess this is the place."

He tipped his hat,

"Let's go Spheera, Thamy!"

Then, he set off and departed to enter the vast ruins. The two just followed him on his tracks. While they were traversing the huge run-down place, monsters of black omen emerged from the begrudged grounds.

The three of them armed themselves with their respective weapons. Wooshing flames and pillars of lunar lights surged throughout the place as they brandished their weapons upon their enemies. One of the

monsters pounced upon Thelamia, but Genocide was quick on his feet. Thereon, he was able to burn the monster before it was able to tear the Goddess apart.

When the monsters had stopped spawning, he tried to call unto Thelamia, yet she just went ahead. Thereupon, he just bit his lip and followed her.

Sooner or later, they arrived at the heart of the place. There, they all bear witnessed the the same gargantuan golden statue of the Goddess with blade-like wings.

Genocide just scratched his lower chin,

"The same Goddess statue huh..."

Thelamia took a cold seat at the nearby ruptured wooden chair that was stuck to the wall.

She sighed,

"Geno? Could you tell me why are we in a dusty place again."

Genocide grinned and tipped his hat,

"Well, Raze told me that this is where he found the green meteorites, maybe there might be more."

Thelamia just looked down as she was a depressed little girl,

"Geno... let's just stop looking for those."

She turned to look at Spheera who had a metal detecter stuck to its head,

"You too Spheera."

Spheera just made a frown and hid its special gadget,

"Err, okay master."

Though, Genocide just crossed his arms and grumbled,

"Tell me Thamy, what is really going on? You've been acting strange when you and dad returned."

Thelamia just steer cleared from having eye-contact,

"I can't really explain it, but...all of these things...these meteorites we're trying to find are worthless now...."

She sighed,

"Even, I am worthle—."

Genocide smacked the wall immediately and stared at Thelamia straight in the eye.

Spheera was just startled and kept silent.

He gripped her shoulders tight,

"Don't say that Thamy!"

Then, he tried shake her sanity away from the gluttonous despair, while his tears of concern were falling,

"You are not worthless! Understand! I don't know what dad told to you before, but stop looking down on yourself!"

He shook her more and more! While he was crying for the loss of optimism of his Goddess,

"Where's the happy go lucky Goddess I knew, who's into adventure huh!"

Though, Thelamia just had a cold hear t and looked away, even if Genocide expressed himself sincerely,

"Let's just go back okay?"

Genocide just grit his teeth. Then, he just brushed away his fragments of pity and sadness due to the drastic change of his Goddess companion.

There after, they departed in reverse. When they were about to head out through the entrance, suddenly Thelamia tripped on a rock on the way back. Then, she accidentally pressed a nearby button eroded with dust.

Soon, they felt that the ground was shaking mildly. Genocide just scratched his chin, while he had the grin of intrigue,

"So that's how it is."

To his right, he saw a secret passage was being unearthed by the slowly moving cylindrical tablet-like door. Not much soin, the ancient passage was completely revealed and the trembling stopped.

Spheera's ears twitched with excitement, while it was giving a puppy dog-eyes to the Goddess,

"Master...could we look into that? Pretty please?"

Thelamia just gave a faded smile and patted her assistant's shiny head,

"Welk okay, if Spheera wants it."

Genocide just crossed his arms.

Soon, they scoured through the dark narrow passage such as they were lizards moving through the crevices.

Thelamia felt that a perverted hand was touching her butt with ill intent, although she was just numb in her reaction.

Spheera flapped its mouth,

"Mastef, Geno's groping your butt, again!"

Genocide just grinned,

"Drats, the little ball kitten has night vision."

"..."

Thelamia was just silent and numb.

Thereon, Genocide grew more and more skeptic, especially in his thoughts,

"Okay, Thamy isn't even reacting...what the hells."

Sooner or later, they saw a ray of light. Thelamia felt a cold breeze had caressed her face. As soon as they reached the light. Their eyes witnessed the coven tropical cave that had a bright sunshine. They even saw the glistening lake was leading to a summer beach at the end. Coastal nature was abundant with coconuts all around.

Though, Thelamia's eyes were caught unto something and pointed at the prime center of the place,

"I-is that a treasure chest?!"

There she saw an unlocked treasure chest filled with bountiful emerald meteorites. In an instant, she sprinted to the treasure chest with a gleeful look on her childish face.

Suddenly, a huge spectre of an ogre-like man fell in front of Thelamia and blocked her way. As the sands had stopped brewing, she saw the armband that has engraved letters of, Crack.

Crack just grinned and flexed his knuckles,

"Well well, if it isn't the self-proclaimed little Goddess."

Thelamia was just terrified of the butcher in front of her path, yet her feet were anchored to the ground.

Crack just sighed,

"Sorry, but...this is for the future of Vampia."

In a snap, he jabbed her stomach with his titanium fist.

"Aaahck!"

Thelamia felt a destructive missile had hit her stomach and flung her across the board. She regained her senses,

"Ooowies! I think I just lost my lunch."

When she turned to her left, she witnessed that the battered up Genocide won't stop bleeding from his mouth. Not only that, her heart felt crushed when she saw that Genocide won't move an inch anymore,

"Ge-no?"
