The Anima

Meanwhile, Thelamia and Genocide went to the backside of the castle. A guard saluted at Genocide and redirected them to an inconspicious door at the leftmost area.

They did as they were told. Then, they entered the designated room.

As she looked straight, the Goddess was widely surprised,

"Oh my gosh! It's a huge Spheera!"

Her eyes witnessed a humongous sphere with cat ears, as it was a weird monument from an advanced civilization at the epicenter of the area.

Suddenly, a chunk of the huge sphere opened. It seemed to be a U.F.O. that opened its hatchet and reveal its captain who hailed from a different planet.

Though, it was only Julieth and Spheera who came out from it.

Julieth crossed her effeminate arms and asked her divine friend with a prideful smile,

"So Thamy, what do yah think?"

Thelamia's elven ears twitched, but she touched her lips as she had doubts above the clouds,

"Uuuhh ummm it looks awesome, but what is it?"

The little smugging Rae said proudly beside the clueless Goddess,

"Hmp-hm! It's one of my latest and greatest creations! I call it..."

Rae pointed with a dynamic pose,

"The Anima!"

"Anima? What's that,"

sadly, Thelamia was just as clueless as ever.

Rae just made a huge facepalm as if she'd lose nuts and bolts from talking to an empty-headed Goddess any further,

"Julie, just tell her what's this thing is about. I don't want to lecture this Goddess who had forgotten her divine education."

Julieth just patted at Thelamia's shoulders and gave her a smile,

"Thamy, it's something we can use to show our people who we really are."

Thelamia guessed,

"So like...a broadcasting thing?"

Julieth nodded,

"Well kinda? But not really..it's more personal than that."

Thelamia gulped when she heard those words.

Genocide raised his hand,

"Err, just a question."

Then, he looked at Goddess Rae,

"I know you made this Goddess Rae, but what manpower did you use? It took only one day."

Voices of exhausted girls were overheard by the corner,

"We did! And it wasn't pretty!"

Genocide saw the Goddesses from before had flopped to the ground. While they were holding wrenches and hammers, they had messy hairs and they were panting for air.

Rae presented them with a smug on her face,

"Yes, I used these lazy and vain Goddesses as my man-power. Don't worry, we used otherworldly resources and the payment was Goddess points, requested by Julie."

Then the Goddesses acted like demanding divas,

"Ugh, I need a manicure and regain my mana after this."

"We're Goddesses for Pete's sake Rae! Not manpower!"

Genocide scratched the back of his head,

"Oh I see...no wonder...Goddess powers."

Rae held her hips proudly,

"Now why don't you three enter the Anima?"

Genocide, Thelamia, and Julieth did as they were told. Then, Rae and the exhausted Goddesses exited the room.

Thelamia's eyes sparkled,

"Wow! It looks like a high-tech room inside!"

She saw the glamorous hub that would be suitable in a highly advanced habitat. Everything around her had the neon streaks and appliances that can only be found in a sci-fi home. There was even a minibar at the corner

When she turned to here left, she saw a couch. Thelamia was just dumbstruck,

"Looks cool!"

Julieth shifted at her son and flipped her hair,

"My dear son? Could you watch over outside? I'm pretty sure Rae did something weird to this place. Keep an eye out outside would yah?"

Genocide just scratched the back of his head,

"Yeah, sure mom."

He did as he was told to. When he was outside, he observed that the pointed feline ears just twitched for a short milisecond.

Thereon, he was estranged,

"Okay, did its ears just moved?"

While he was focused upon the strange behavior of the huge spherical hub, a little creature entered the sphere unnoticeably.

Julieth's eyes turned to the corner. There, she saw a huge screen perfect for a video editing session.

Thelamia took a comfy seat at the sofa.

Though, she was filled with curiousity when she looked straight,

"Huh? There's a camera here?"

There, she she a videocam floating above the floor directed at the casting couch. Not only that, she noticed that some hidden cameras were zooming at her from different angles as well.

Julieth just sat beside her friend and patted her shoulders. Then, she looked at her Goddess friend straight in the eye,

"Thamy...we're gonna film ourselves."

While Genocide was scouting outside, he heard a sudden ruckus from inside the humongous sphere,

"I wonder what's going on in there."

Somehow, he wasn't filled with worry and just scratched his chin while he was dubious.

Soon, he saw Spheera came back looking quite exhausted. Thereon, he rubbed its shiny metal head with rowdy joy,

"Eyyy little ball kitten! Where've you been?"

Back at the interior hub of the sphere, Thelamia looked terrified, while she was holding a silver fryingpan directed at Julieth,

"S-stay back Julie!"

Though, Julieth wasn't fazed. She just flipped her hair,

"Geez Thamy. I can't believe you don't like filming yourself. Even though younsaid before you wanted to introduce yourself as the Goddess to our people."

Thelamia just panicked like a little girl who has stage fright,

"Filming is a different matter Julie! I'm not made for that!"

Julieth just crossed her legs and crossed her arms,

"Sigh...and yah even have the gall to show off some parts of your skin."

Julieth clasped her hands and tried to convince her friend as she was nice friend who's a devil's advocate,

"Don't worry Thamy, just act natural. I won't let you do strange things like those perverted idol/model recruiters would do to you."

Thelamia had stopped being cautious and calmed down,

"Okay..I trust you Julie, but why use that scary subject huh?"

Though, Julieth just didn't respond to her question. Instead Julieth told her friend to relax on the couch and wear the flashy cat-eared headband with mic beside. Then, look straight at the camera. She did as she was told and Julieth did her magic at the video editing session,

"And we're live in 3...2...1..."

Though, Julieth didn't do anything complex, rather she just pushed the red glowing button.

At the kingdom's outskirts, the lifeless people went for a sudden halt when they witnessed something strange. Above the sky, they saw a huge holgraphic screen had popped out. It was Thelamia waving at them non-chalantly,

"Hiya everyone! Err, ummm...I-I'm your Goddess of creation in the flesh!"

Somehow, the people were just puzzled and most of them were just dumbstruck,

"Goddess of creation?"

Thereon, Thelamia clasped her hands and apologized sincerely,

"Oh yea and I'm truly sorry for what I've done before. Though, I know a mere sorry can't actually fix things."

Her broadcasting session even reached the far places of Harpiel highlands and even at the miniscule fairy woods. Thereupon, the fairy queen Marla and her people were also watching through the holographic screens that popped out at the plaza.

The fairy queen just expressed her high regards,

"So they've done it huh. Our queen is truly a fickle woman."

Though, the pale people at the Vampian kingdom were just doubtful as ever, although they were filled with growing curiousity as well.

Sadly, it was just a one sided mirror and Thelamia couldn't hear their doubts,

"Anyone knows what a Goddess is?"

"I don't know...but she's kinda cute, don't you think?"

Returning back at the cast, Julieth whispered to Thelamia who was acting like an idol on her debut,

"Thamy, tell 'em that you'll do better as a Goddess."

Thelamia was a little startled, but she did as she was told with a smile of sunshine,

"Oh, but rest assured that I'll do everything within my power to make your lives colorful and better!"

Then, she presented Julieth,

"Well with the help of Julie here!"

"Eh?!"

The camera focused on Julieth.

Julieth was caught with surprise. Though, soon enough she returned to her composed self. Then, the people saw her eyes filled with truth and compassion,

"A-aaahh yes, I'll help my Goddess friend with everything."

Then, they saw the gleefel Thelamia butt-in,

"Not to mention, she's also a Goddess!"

The citizens of Vampia were even more shocked than ever,

"Huh? Our queen of terror is also a Goddess?"

"EEEEEEK! WHAT IS THAT!"

they heard the high-pitched scream of Thelamia from the hollow screen.

Julieth shifted her focus to her friend,

"What's wrong Thamy?"

Then, she pushed the red button in a hurry. Julieth observed that Thelamia was acting like a frightened kitty cat,

"There's a-a-a-a! It's too scary!"

Julieth grew concerned of what her friend had seen. Thereon, she focused upon what her scared friend was pointing at. The only thing she saw was a white hamster,

"Geez, Thamy..."

She was just seedy-eyed. Julieth's hands just grabbed the adorable hamster and csressed its polar fur,

"It's just a cute hamster and I thought you liked cute things?"

Thelamia was just frozen in fear,

"It's still a rat Julie! And I'm scared of rats..."

Julieth just sighed,

"It's not a pest that nibbles on your unattended crops though."

She snapoed her fingers. In an instant, a small carrot appeared from her hand and she gave it to the small creature,

"Here little fella."

The hamster nibbled on the carrot joyfully and Julieth had the face of a pet lover. She gave a smile to Thelamia,

"Thamy? Why don't you pet it for once?"

Thelamia was hesitant at first. Though, soon enough, she caressed its fur as Julieth suggested. In a snap, Thelamia's disgust and trauma went poof,

"Hm? It's kinda cuddly even if it looks like a rat."

Julieth just rolled her eyes,

"Well that's a hamster."

When Julieth turned to look at the corner, her eyes grew wide, as the red button was still glowing,

"Oh shoot!"

The next moment, she pounced unto the broadcasting panel and pushed the red button. Thereon, the button stopped glowing and they had stopped airing.

Julieth sighed afterwards,

"That was horrible..."

Thelamia looked at her divine friend, while she was caressing the cute furball,

"What do you mean Julie?"

Julieth facepalmed in despair,

"I forgot to turn it off properly. So even when you acted like a scared little girl got recorded and shown live."

"WHAT?!"

Thelamia couldn't believe it. Thereupon, the poor Goddess just cried pathetically,

Uwwaaaaahhhh! Now the people will see how pathetic I really am!"

Julieth sighed and bonked her head on the desk,

"We're doomed..."

Suddenly, Genocide came inside, while he was lifting a peculiar glass orb that had rotating fragments around it,

"Eeyy mom? This thing Rae made is glowing so bright...how to turn it off?"

When Julieth saw the strange sphere, releasing pink shining rays, her eyes widened with immense shock,

"That's the divine acceptance device!"

Julieth gulped, as she couldn't believe her own eyes,

No way! They like Thamy now even with that recent blunder?!"

Genocide just scratched the back of his head and went to the crying Thelamia to comfort her.

As for Julieth, she turned on the computer's screen. Her eyes perceived so many live footages of different places, such as it was a global CCTV.

At the top-most screen the winged people of Harpiel highlandsbwere soaring above the skies, while Sylvia was having a delighted smile,

"Now those are Goddesses who act very natural, but still kind and caring at the same time."

At the opposite screen, it was showing footages of Marla with her fairy friends. More so, Marla had a look of interest,

"Hmmmm, I wonder if they have more of those cuddly things. I could ride it along the forest and pet it at the same time."

Meanwhile, the screens showing the people of Vampia and various neighborhing villages and towns, they were looking less hollow. Rather, they had the fragment of a living being once again. Their eyes weren't filled with dread or numbness. Though, they also had the winds of skepticism and curiosity unlocked as well,

"That was weird? What's this nice feeling? Is this the fabled laughter?"

"Mom? What are Goddesses?"

"I don't know honey, but they were nice people right? Even our queen looked nice in there."

"Hah-hah! Yea, that other girl ran away from a cute thing."

"Hey kid? Could you do that again?"

"What do you mean? Like this? Hah-hah?"

"Yeah, so that's the fabled laughter."

When Julieth saw that the people were looking more and more filled with life, she made a thankful smile,

"Finally, the people are starting to become human again."

Thelamia had stopped weeping when she saw her best friend pour out tears of immense joy,

"Julie..."

There after, Julieth stood up and approached Thelamia. She patted both of Thelamia's shoulders,

"Thanks to you Thamy, it was a success."

Though, Genocide just noticed that Thelamia just looked away with a faded smile, turning to have a dubious look.

At the edge of the Revelas kingdom, everything was shrouded in the deafening night. Inside the dark chamber of isolation with golden flames around the bed, Ruvias was sitting on a nearby stool.

Though, she didn't look quite happy,

"Ugh! I thought that king would agree to my demands! And throw away that wretched king and let me rule this place instead!"

She took a sip of her luxurious drink in one shot,

"Where I won't have to please him with my body anymore!"

She smacked the table with agony,

"But instead, that Vampian king is still a puppet to those be damned Goddess's decisions!"

That sudden moment, the candles lights ceased into the darkness.

Ruvias felt the chilling abyss caressing her back. Though, it wasn't a hand of compassion but the touch of blight. Soon, she heard the voice of the desolate king from hell behind her back,

"Who's the wretched king? My beautiful queen?"

Ruvias sweated lots,

"Ahhh err ugh...the king of Va-Vampia who-who else—."

Though, the hooded lord just pinched his forehead and looked down,

"Ruvias, for now I wanr you to leave me by myself."

His queen just gulped,

"W-well okay?"

Then, she left the cold place in a hurry, without looking back.

Sooner or later, a crimson knight entered his domain and bowed obediently. Then, the noble fighter revealed a tablet made out of translucent crysalis crystals that was flattened into a sheet. The king of abyss made a devious smirkwhen he saw the screen. There, his eyes laid witness upon Julieth's live footage with Thelamia taken from before,

"Soon, I shall regain the Goddess that I truly deserve."

His hand of death caressed the screen,

"My dear Julieth."
