The man who stood before Excess was none other than his teacher and the Grand Duke of Xerus Kingdom , Garius Serven. Only Grand Dukes and Dukes were called as Lord , in this world Lord was the highest title anyone could get.

"Hey Gary , or should I say Grand Duke Garius?"

The one who were talking to each other were none other than the 2 most powerful people in this world. Garius the Grand Duke of Xerus Kingdom and Frew the Grand Duke of Frontia Kingdom.

"Yes yes , go on and say anything you want but don't forget that you're a Grand Duke too. Do you want a war against me? If not then don't mock me."

"Ok ok , I got just chill man there's nobody here it's just us. Can't we just talk like the old times?"

"Oh... ok , pervy Frew. And don't say old times we are just 21 years old."

Garius paused , thought about something for few seconds and then continued.

"Hehe , did you finally found a girl who accepts your pervy fantasies?"

Garius scoffed and said ,

Suddenly Frew flinched as he felt a chill down his spine it was because of deadly stare Garius gave.

"It isn't a bad offer , but I'll pass on it."

Frew saw Garius's red face and couldn't stop laughing.

"Man can't believe you're the Grand Duke of Frontia Kingdo-"

"Must be nice to be in love."

Garius looked at Frew's laughing face and saw the sadness in his eyes.

Garius couldn't control further and fired a fireball aiming for Frew's face , but even though Frew looked unaware of this fireball he easily stopped the fireball with his hand.

Just as he saying that something hit Frew's head from back , it was the same fireball that Frew held few seconds ago.

"Hah , really can't win against you. I came here today to ask for Lecilia's hand for marriage , what do you think Gary?"

"Hmm , well I'm not going to help you any way. My sister will decide who she wants to marry , I'd say your chances of getting marrying her are pretty good cause of your family."

Garius pitied Frew , he was the only friend Garius had. Not only that Garius knew the obstacles Frew crossed to get to the place he is now.

Weirdly enough Garius couldn't say anything further , he couldn't say anything further cause that's all he wanted from her. That is to be beside him , realising this Garius's face turned red.

The light mood of the room suddenly changed because of the serious face that Garius wore.

"I really came to just talk about Lecilia , that's it."

Frew didn't say a word for few seconds and let out a huge sigh.

"Hah , I guess 'they' are also popping up in Xerus. The speed at which they progress is scary... and I don't know if you'll believe what I'm going to say now , but one of them who visited me looked like Sword God's disciple."

Their was nothing but silence in the room , that was until Garius started laughing.

"H-Hey I know what you're thinking but I'm really telling you the truth."

"Hahaha , yeah I know. Isn't this good for us? 'God has finally heard our request' is what the church will say when this news get out. So keep this as low-key as possible or else those church b*stards are going to be a pain."

"It was actually Gildia."

Garius was enraged by Frew's behaviour and his naivity , even though of different Kingdoms both of them cared for each other. Garius couldn't help but scream because he wanted to tell Frew just how big of a mistake he has made.

"I'm sorry Frew , but it'll be hard to avoid war this time. I'm taking neutral stance on the next Noble Meet and so will our whole Kingdom. I'll decide whom to support based on Lecilia's fiancé."

"I see , what do you think will Lecilia choose me?"

He looked at Garius's eyes and saw the look he had , those eyes weren't of a weak Lord , those eyes looked confident.

"You already know what's going happen don't you? For f*ck sake don't plan your sister's life , let her live the way she wants."

"Frew my friend , you don't understand."

Garius stood up and walked towards the man sitting opposite to him , he stood near him and said ,

"If I let my sister live how she wants , she'll destroy herself. This is all for her , but if you still want to try be my guest."

Frew closed his eyes and let out a huge sigh and said ,

"Hah , scheming b*stard. I know that if your plan has already started then it's going to go your way , but I'm still going to meet her."

When he saw that nobody replied Frew opened his eyes to see if Garius is still here , and as Frew expected Garius already left the room.

"Man this is going to be hard."

Meanwhile , Garius was flying towards the Forest of Kin where he sensed an awakened monster.

'So it is where Excess is training , I wonder how much he has killed by now.'
