"W-what?" Elder Bai can not believed what the young man exclaimed.
In reply, Lu Ciel read loudly for the elder to hear what he was currently seeing on his system panel.

"So you've really learnt it, huh.." Elder Bai got quiet as he mulled over on something. He was somewhat expecting this outcome that's why he provided these skills to the young man, but he still provided three days as a leeway since this is also his test criteria for being his disciple in the field of alchemy.
Lu Ciel continued reading onto the next skill.

"Well aren't these skills pretty neat!" Lu Ciel praised after reading the information about the skills that he've learned.
What he could not understand though is that there was no option being provided by the system to learn that was written on the parchment of paper. As he looked at it, the only information being shown on the system is,

"Master, why is there no option to {LEARN} this Rejuvination Pill Recipe?" Lu Ciel inquired which broke his master away from pondering state.
"Ahh! Well that is because you have not yet to become a truly Alchemist." Elder Bai replied as he was delighted from realizing that this young disciple of his must be a freaking genius.
"What does that mean?" Lu Ciel was confused. "Is there some sort of requirements to become one?"

"I see.." Lu Ciel finally understood what needs to be done.
"Once you've maxed the level of the Fire Manipulation Skill, go to the Alchemy Guild and take the test to become a true Alchemist. For now, you can train your skill in one of the training rooms." Elder Bai provided further instructions to the young man to stay in the Hunter Guild for now as he made him follow to the receptionist area.
As they got there, Elder Bai instructed the receptionist lady. "Hey, Mi Chell, this is my new disciple, lead this young man to the Training Room 4 to be occupied for three days."
"As you requested, elder." The receptionist lady stood up in his seat and bowed in compliance.
After that, elder Bai ruffled the young man's hair as he informed that he'll be leaving him for now. "From tomorrow until the end of the week, the Alchemy Recruitment will be held, and I'll be one of the judges."
"See you in the Alchemy Guild. Don't disappointment me now." With that, Elder Bai left through the doors going outside of the Hunter Guild.
As the door closed, leaving Lu Ciel, the receptionist spoke to him after a moment to comply with Elder Bai's instruction. "Follow me, sir. I'll take you to the Training Room 4."
Lu Ciel nodded as he followed the lead of the receptionist.
The inside of the Training Room 04 was just a simple backyard of a traditional japanese house where you could see an old tree and a small pond. Other than these, you can see a bamboo mat and a cauldron in the hearth. The training room was only as small as 33 square meters condo in modern Earth nowadays, however, the ambiance was amazing which makes your soul feel serene. "Wow, this is nice!"
"Enjoy your stay." After leading the Lu Ciel to the designated training room, the receptionist lady bowed and bid farewell.
"Okay.." Lu Ciel clapped his hand in anticipation. "So how do we raise skill level?"
Answering his question, information about the functions of the System started to flow in his mind naturally.
After a moment, Lu Ciel was able to gain realization, "Oh, so it's just as simple as activating the Skill, but it only gets complicated on the part where you will control the skill."
"Hmm..lets try it." Lu Ciel sat on the mat and observed the hearth. In front of the mat, you can see a small fire silently and softly burning at the bottom of a cauldron. His focus directed to the small fire as he willed in his mind for the fire to become bigger.
Boom!
"What the?!" The small sleeping fire suddenly burst awake. This shocked the young man in panic which got him out of focus. Thus, the burst of combustion settled right away, going back to sleeping mode.
With Lu Ciel getting out of focus, the skill was automatically canceled, and the cooldown of the skill started. Though at first he got shocked in panic, the slight adrenaline that went to his brain made his eyes sparkled in amazement and delight right after.
Thirty minutes cooldown got Lu Ciel's brain worked fast as if he was in a sugar rush, thinking of theorys of ways to control the fire. After thirty minutes, his thinking end up with controlling the fire how a stove works. As he was about to try to activate the skill again, he focused on the fire as if there was a switch on it where you can control the burst of the flame.
With that kind of focus, when Lu Ciel used the skill, the fire did not abruptly burst but only swayed.
A series of mini hexagonal system window popped up at the right top of the young man's vision notifying;

'Oh nice!' Noticing the system update, Lu Ciel can't help but praise inwardly as his focus is still on the fire that was just swaying. 'Now, lets try to slowly burst this fire.'
As Lu Ciel willed, the fire slowly got bigger and bigger, and as this kept happening, series of mini hexagonal window keeps popping up notifying that he's gaining EXP for his fire manipulation skill.

After the 10 minutes duration of the skill, keeping the fire burst, its height had already reached its limit, and the EXP that Lu Ciel would just gain is..

Noticing this, Lu Ciel tried to slowly raise down the burst of the flame. With that, his theory was taking effect. The EXP that he gains increased once more.

More than ten minutes passed by, the EXP being gained got stagnant once more around 1 or 2. Thus, Lu Ciel tried to alternate his theory of raising up and down the burst of the fire. Though it was effective, but, it was not effective unlike before.

The good thing about this though is that the EXP gained was longer before it got stagnant around to 1 or 2 . Almost thirty minutes passed when the EXP gained got stagnant. Lu Ciel could not think of any ideas to dramatically raise the EXP anymore. Thus, he finally canceled the skill. Roughly, one hour passed and was able to gain 25,200 EXP.

Description: A skill to manipulate [Common] fire for 10 minutes within 70 meters radius. For continuous usage, after 10 minutes, 20 MP will be deducted. For another 10 minutes, 30 MP. So on and so forth.
"That's nice!" After marvelling the improvement of his skill, Lu Ciel was astounded when he noticed that his Pill Refining Skill has improved as well.

"Amazing!" Lu Ciel praised. According to the description of the skill, the system must have counted my Fire Manipulation skill training as part of Pill Refining. With this, Lu Ciel got himself pondering over, 'Checking on the EXP gained on the Pill Refining skill, I must have only gotten around 1 or 2 points per second.'
"Right now, I'm not able to actually use the Pill Refining skill as I'm not yet an actual Alchemist." While Lu Ciel was mumbling his observation, he was able to confirm it when he directed his focus to the cauldron in front of him.

Description: A cauldron that is being usually being used by the masses, however, the quality is above than the usual.
Requirements: Alchemist
Lu Ciel sighed reading the greyed out texts being showned by the system panel. "I guess if I'll continue with my practice until Fire Manipulation level up once more, I'll be able to level up my Pill Refinement skill if the EXP gained will not change."
Thinking about this, Lu Ciel sighed again as he thought how it's gonna be boring with what he'll about. After thirty minutes passed, exhaling the negative thoughts, Lu Ciel activated his Fire Manipulation skill.
