Every System provides three skills slot to an individual -- two slots for active skills and one slot for passive. Consolidating a Hunter license provides another three skills slot on the system, becoming four skill slots for active skills and two slots for passive. Consolidating a special license on the other hand provides six slots, making in total nine slots -- five for active and four for passive.
Job licenses such alchemist, blacksmith and rune masters provides what's being called as sub skills slots. It is called as sub skill slots because of the slots that one's skills can be transferred over to these slots so that the main skills slots of the System will be free and can be added for another skills.
The con of the sub skills slot is that once the skill has been transferred, it cannot be transferred back and can't be removed or replaced, unlike the main skills slots.
Normal job license provides four sub skills slot while special job license provides eight sub skills slot.
These information were what Lu Ciel learned during lunch conversation with Mo Del and the two elders.
"Wait.." Lu Ciel was expressing confusion directed to his master. "If you can only have one job license then, how come you are able to be a Blacksmith, Alchemy and Rune formation at the same time?"
"Haha!" Elder Bai looked at his young disciple in delight. "That's a good question, kid!"
"The reason I'm able to take three jobs because.." Elder Bai pondered as he answered his disciple's question in suspense. "..I'm simply a freaking genius!"
Hearing his master's response, Lu Ciel's eyebrow was twitching in annoyance. He got even focused when Elder Bai was showing a pondering look, waiting for a profound answer. Yet, this was what he heard. Even Mo Del was interested to learn the answer, but, did not expect to hear an answer like this from an elder.
Lord Alchemist Xi Ao which was the other elder together with Elder Bai only shook his head, smiling at the mischief of his old friend. "Young Lu Ciel, your master's primary job is Blacksmith. He was claimed to be the youngest Titled Blacksmith fifty years ago that's why the Central Divine Empire recruited him. However, as he got acquainted to a princess and to a duke in the empire, his line of interest was split into three. Though, he is not an official Alchemist nor an official Rune Master, his skills in these jobs are still being approved by the Alchemy and Rune society."
"Ohh..!" Hearing this, Lu Ciel now finally realized. "I understand now why you want to take disciples for each vocation that you have taken."
"Ho..?" Elder Bai was really amused with his disciple. "And what have you understood, my 'genius' disciple?"
"Well.." Lu Ciel began to explain his findings. "I presume that you want us to be the one who will continue your path since it is very hard to improve and grow the deeper you are in one's field, especially if you don't have the license to back it up. Hence, you need talented individuals to help you in whatever endevours that you have."
"Endevours!" Learning his disciple's perception, Elder Bai was really astounded and amused. "Profound word you have there, kid."
As he smirked in reply, Elder humorly added, "Talented individual, huh...well, that's what you are if you really are Alchemist Midas."
Hearing this again, Lu Ciel can only can only sigh once more as he roll his eyes in reply. "For the nth time, old man, I am that Alchemist Midas. Why is it hard for you to believe it?"
"Uhh, well.." Elder replied right away as he sighed and gestured in defeat. "We'll learn about it once your badge have been confirmed."
As if on queue, the alchemist that was asked to confirm the headchain that Lu Ciel wore during the simulation which transformed into a badge right after using it, came to the garden which has a shed in the middle of a pond where the group was having a lunch. The alchemist slightly bowed towards them as he handed down a simple wooden box. "Elders, the badge is confirmed to be Alchemist Midas' belonging."
Lu Ciel took the wooden box and opened it. There, an ancient coin-like badge with a socketed colorless gem in a fire and laurel wreath symbol was placed. Lu Ciel took out this badge and placed it back in his
"Told you, old man." Lu Ciel smirked in amusement as he looked at the expression of his master. "Why would I make things up in the first place?"
"Haha!" Elder Bai chuckled in reply. "Silly kid. You can be gullible at times you know that? You should keep in mind, your master is the who will believe in you even if the heavens doesn't."
Hearing his master's reply, Lu Ciel was moved and taken aback. He was speechless as he can only continue to look at him.
"Whatcha looking at, kid?" Elder Bai raised his eyebrows in amusement. "It's a given that your master will believe in you. I'm the one who chose you, after all."
However, as elder Bai kept talking, his amusement fades, replaced with a strick look on his face. "And, it's a given that you must get the best of bests results as you are my disciple after all."
Noticing the changes, Lu Ciel became nodded seriously as well. "I understand."
As split moment of silence passed by, Alchemist Xi Ao handed a gray colored book to Lu Ciel as he greeted, "Congratulations, Special Alchemist Midas."
"Eh, what's this?" Lu Ciel was surprised when this elder suddenly presented a gift to him. As he recieved the book, his eyes sparkled in joy. "Oh!!"

"What are you thanking me for, kid?" Elder was showing a skeptic look as he can feel a deep meaning in his disciple's grateful words.
Noticing his skeptic master, Lu Ciel smiled sweeter as he answered, "Just, thank you."
Elder Bai understand his disciple despite knowing him for a couple of days. Thus, he rolled his eyes and took out two brown and blue books. "Here. Congrats, kid."

"Oh..okay." As his master hesitantly took the book that he was holding while bowing, Lu Ciel was delighted as he began to explain his story. "Actually, I've already learnt the water and dark manipulation art which came from the book that my mother gave to me when I was still a child."
With that, he took out the book that he was referring to and showed it to elder Bai and others.
