Familiar

Lu Ciel realized that his master might be a demon in disguise. In ancient times, the Akashabyzz world had eight races which represented each elements. The Demons are the race of Poison element.

However, due to one of the nature of the poison which is to corrupt and destroy, the demons are not suited for ruling. With that, the other race was not able to tolerate this race's ruling for eons and the Holy War erupted.

This was actually basic knowledge that even the transmigrated Marc Luther knew from the memories of the original Lu Ciel. The now Lu Ciel can't see the matter of demons as a big of a deal and he has no reason to denounce his own master since no harm was done to him. Thus, decided to put this matter aside for now yet, he will have to be wary with his master from now on.

Lu Ciel was now in the reception area. He approached the reception desk where Mi Chell was preparing for his lunch break.

As Mi Chell saw the young man approaching her, she smiled in greeting as she asked, "Are you hungry?"

"Eh?" Lu Ciel was surprised with the female receptionist's question. Now that he thought about it, almost 24 hours have passed by already since the last time he ate. As he realized that, his stomach started to growl and rumbled.

Hearing this, Lu Ciel answered Mi Chell while smiling foolishly. "Starving!"

Hearing this as well, Mi Chell can't help but chuckle at this. As if this young man's stomach was only waiting for her invitation to start becoming crazy. "Lets go then."

Lu Ciel nodded as he walked together with Mi Chell out of the building.

MiChell and Lu Ciel went to the city square. As the two walked by, Mi Chell started to introduce the buildings that they passed by. He provided information and tips that Lu Ciel will need for his dungeoneering.

The two arrived at the restaurant after walking for minutes. As they entered, the waiters and waitresses inside synchronizingly greeted the two. "Welcome to our humble abode!"

After the warm greeting, a waitress approached the two, introducing herself. "Hello madaam, sir. I'm your waitress, Ana. Please follow me to your table. I presume that you want to have a beautiful background to enjoy together with your sumptuous meal?"

Lu Ciel was amazed with the customer service being provided by this restaurant. She looked at the woman by his side, smiling as he praised for her taste, "I understand why this is your favorite restaurant now."

However, the woman by the side of the young man, Mi Chell only embarassingly smiled because the waitress were leading them up to the couple's area. And there, her assumption is indeed correct seeing the label "Couple's Area" on the stairs that they were going up to the two. However, it's good that the young man was not able to notice this as he enjoyed observing the ambiance of the place.

As the three finally arrived on their destination, Lu Ciel noticed that they were at the rooftop of the building, yet the feeling was like they just entered the garden where he ate together with his master, Mo Del and Lord Alchemist at.

"What a view!" Lu Ciel can't help but sigh in amazement. It was like they were in a kingdom's backyard where a tree was growing at the center where its branches and leaves served as the dome which provides shade to the customers and countless roots which spread around and green lush grasses growing out of the soil that evens the landscape. There were only six tables here, two which surrounded the tree and four at each side.

A woman with a long golden hair was seating to one of the tables at the east side. When Lu Ciel saw this woman, he can't help but be mesmerized not because of her breathe taking beauty but because of the familiarity of her face. Lu Ciel can't exactly pinpoint who she was however he strongly believes that she literally looked like one of the international celebrities back in Earth. The woman was sipping on her tea as she enjoyed the view of the whole city square from the top.

This woman was noticed by Mi Chell as well. Seeing her, Mi Chell smiled as she approached the woman, and as the woman sensed this, her beautiful face turned towards the figure.

'That's it!' Lu Ciel finally able to remember the celebrity she was referring to. The reason why he was not able to tell right away because of the full straight bangs.

"Good day to you, Lady Anne!" Mi Chell greeted which dumbfounded Lu Ciel upon learning that they have the same name as well.

'Don't tell me her last name is Hathaway?' Lu Ciel can't help but wonder in amazement.

"Good day to you, Mi Chell. Lovely having you here." The woman who was Lady Anne greeted back. Sensing that someone was looking at her, she noticed that there was a young man together with the Mi Chell.

"Oh? so you've finally found a man that met your standards. Congrats!" As Lady Anne was somewhat close with the Mi Chell, she can't help but chuckle as she teased her. Though she was just playing around, Mi Chell's face got red yet somehow annoyed.

"Please don't tease me, Lady Anne." Mi Chell took a glance at the young man who was still staring at Lady Anne. Unknowingly to her, she was becoming frustrated with what this young man was showing. "He is indeed different to the usual men but it seems that men will really be men."

Hearing the disappointment tone of Mi Chell, Lady Anne can't help but chuckle at how cute this woman was. "Men will indeed be men as I always tell you. However, if you are referring to the disgusting trait of men then that's not what is showing here."

"What do you mean?" Mi Chell was confused as to why Lady Anne was defending Lu Ciel. As a woman, Mi Chell understand the meaning of Lu Ciel's stare.

"Not to be narcistic or whatsoever, I understand that a lot of men would break their necks to look or stare at me, and I very understand the meaning of the gazes that men gives." Lady Anne sipped on her tea as she provided her observation when it comes to men. "And this young man is not looking at me like typical men would. He seems like he was looking at me as if he's looking someone familiar to him."

"Really?" Mi Chell was still doubting.

"Really." Lady Anne assured. "Look, he did not even approached us even though you're with him. He has a sense of decorum. Why don't you call him to come over?"

"O-okay." Mi Chell was now starting to believe Lady Anne.

"Lu Ciel." Mi Chell called the young man, gesturing to come over. "This is Lady Anne, the owner of this restaurant."

After approaching the two women, Lu Ciel bowed in respect as he blurted his admiration to the place. "Nice to meet you, Lady Anne. What a lovely place you have here."

Lady Anne took a glance at Mi Chell, smiling at the compliment of the young man. "Thank you."

"If you don't mind me asking." Lu Ciel felt silly asking this question but he can't help himself as he felt that he really needs to ask this. "Is your last name Hathaway?"

Hearing the young man's question, the two women were confounded as they really did not expect this kind of question. However, as a woman that has ages of experience already, she can't help but chuckle as to realize that there are still things that can surprise her. With that, she replied is amusement, "Unfortunately, no. My last name is now Li as I was married to my late husband."

"Oh, haha! I knew it." Lu Ciel can't help but laugh wryly as he knew he was being silly for asking this question.

"But, yes, my last name was Hathaway when I was still a maiden." Lady Anne looked at Lu Ciel in a meaningful manner.

"What?" Hearing what Lady Anne told, Lu Ciel was so dumbfounded that he was speechless with what he've learned.

As the two women saw the looks of the young man, Lady Anne shook her head in amusement as she finally told her the truth. "I'm kidding. My maiden last name is Vi. Don't just stand here you two, sit with me already."

Hearing this, waitress Anna took a chair from one of the tables for Lu Ciel.
