Lost Track of Time

"So, how long have you been going out already?" Lady Anne asked right after the two have seated comfortably.

"Eh?" Lu Ciel almost fell off on his chair hearing this sort of question. With that, he can't help but only smile wryly as he took a sip on the cup of tea to calm himself down and simply replied. "Please don't tease us like that, Lady Anne.

"So there really must be something going." Lady Anne looked at the two in a cute and teasing manner. "Clearly, you're not denying anything."

Hearing this, Lu Ciel almost got choke out from the tea that he sipped. Even Mi Chell can't seem to handle the teasing as her face has become as red as tomato saying, "Please stop it, Lady Anne."

Lady Anne simply sipped on her tea once more as she continue to say what's on her mind. "I'm just happy for you, Mi Chell. I've already thought that you you'll grow old with just countless cats and dogs as your partner in life."

From being embarrassed, Mi Chell's mood turned into anmoyance real quick from hearing what Lady Anne said.

"However, I have faith that God won't neglect us." Lady Anne continued as he sincerely smiled. "Just like you, the man of your dreams have finally come and a handsome to boot. Each one of us is being taken care of via His own mysterious ways."

Hearing this, Mi Chell can't help but sigh as she only shook her head. She looked at the young man and realized that he is indeed good looking now that he was getting thinner which made her unconsciously praised Lu Ciel that he was getting thinner.

"You think highly of me, Lady Anne. Thank you!" Lu Ciel humbled himself while feeling weird as he was reminded of of the grannies in his world where they would cry in front of the statue of a holy being.

"Haha. Alright, I'll stop now." Lady Anne simply chuckled at reaction of the two. "Why would you be in this place though if you are not here to date?"

Hearing this question, the two glanced at waitress Anne as Lu Ciel replied, "I took out Mi Chell for a meal to thank her for taking care of me these past few days."

"Oh, I see. I see." Lady Anne chuckling as she cheekily looked at Mi Chell. Mi Chell on the other hand can't help but facepalm from the misleading answer of the young man.

The teasing topic have finally ended. The three talked about other stuff as the food came in. Lu Ciel really enjoyed the food that were being served. In the couple's area, the menu was already set hence the waitress Anna never asked for their orders.

"This main course is so delicious! Can I order two more?" As the three had lunch, Lu Ciel realized that his appetite got bigger than he was an obyss thus he ordered for more.

"Aren't you a mage class?" This really astounded Mi Chell because his appetite were the same with the fighter and tank class.

"Oh?" Hearig this, Lady Anne got surprised as well. "I thought you are actually a tank class, young man, with your pudgy build."

"Haha!" Lu Ciel only laughed at the sort of compliments from the two women as he began to mention, "Funny thing is that, my goal was actually to become a Support class. However, the special licensed for that have already been taken by someone from the time I got in the Hunter Guild. Hence, I ended up as a Special Mage."

"That's interesting." Lady Anne chuckled as she pry further. "So, why not take a normal license for Support Class instead then?"

"Well, a special hunter license is rare after all. "Lu Ciel simply explained. "Besides, I can still be a Support Class despite having a license for Special Mage, no?"

Hearing this the two women can only laugh wryly. It is doable to be a support class while having a license for mage class but, it would be inefficient. Especially that the young man is a licensed Special Mage, he will be really wasting his time, effort and the special license itself if he will be stubborn with his decision.

The three enjoyed lunch together as they talked about different things which widen Lu Ciel's knowledge of this world. Mi Chell only realized that they have lost track of time when lots of Hunters are starting to roam the city square. "Oh no!!"

Lu Ciel realized the sudden freakout of Mi Chell right away as he was reminded that she should only have an hour break yet it turned into three hours. Lu Ciel stood up as he bowed in gratitude. "It's a pleasure having you accompany us, Lady Anne."

"Not at all." Lady Anne sweetly smiled. "The pleasure's all mine."

With that, Lu Ciel gestured for waitress Anne to come over. "May I have the bill?"

Waitress Anne pulled out a bill on her inventory right away, handing it to Lu Ciel. The bill was a total of 12 spirit stones. Lu Ciel took out one spirit crystal from his inventory and handed it to waitress Anne. "Can I deposit this spirit crystal for the payments of my future visits here?"

Waitress Anne was about to refuse as they have no policy about this however, Lady Anne interjected. "It's okay, Anne. Yes, we would be looking forward to your future visits, young man."

"Thank you." Lu Ciel nodded in acceptance. He looked at Mi Chell, "Lets go?"

Mi Chell nodded as he stood up and bowed towards Lady Anne as well. "See you next time, Lady Anne.

"Take care you two, always." Lady Anne nodded as she stood up as well and ready to leave to her own appointments.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Mi Chell." As the two walked down towards the Hunter Guild. Lu Ciel can't help but apologize since her work got affected from his insistent on paying gratitude right away.

"Silly." Mi Chell only chuckled. "Things happened. It's not your fault. I enjoyed my time with you anyway."

{Mi Chell did not blame LuCiel as she admitted that she had fun with him.}

"Well, okay.." Lu Ciel sighed in relief. "Can I take you out to a meal next time then?"

Hearing this, Mi Chell got embarassed as she was reminded of the constant teasing from Lady Anne. Thus, she can't help but only gave the young man a nod as her response.

After walking for quite a few minutes, the two finally arrived at the Hunter Guild. The two separated their ways as Lu Ciel excused himself. "I'll visit my butler to see how he's doing after taking the refined pill."

"Got it." Mi Chell nodded coyly. "I'll go back to my desk as well."

In the nurse station of the medical area, Lu Ciel was still able to see Sofia. However, she was very occupied with the papers that was in front of her.

"Hi, nurse." Lu Ciel greeted as he approached her station. "Seems like a busy time for you at the moment."

Nurse Sofia only took a glance on the young man as she greeted bacl while sorting out the papers in fron of her. "Hi, Lu Ciel. Indeed. A lot of Hunters got hurt inside the dungeon as a lesser demons suddenly popped out from nowhere in the lower-levels, wrecking havoc."

"I see." Lu Ciel only replied as parts of reality about dungeoneering was slowly sinking in him. Due to the mindset that he lived back in the modern Earth and the mindset of the people of this world where fighting monsters and demons is a normal occurence, he never thought how dangerous this occupation can be.

After a few minutes of sorting out the papers, nurse Sofia looked at the young man who was contemplating, asking, "You are here to see your butler, right?"

With his attention being captured, Lu Ciel looked at the nurse, silently nodding in response.

"I'll take you there." Nurse Sofia stood up as he gestured towards the young man, "Follow me."

Lu Ciel silently followed. Observing the surroundings, three hours ago, the peaceful and quiet place was now replaced with wails and cries from the pain that the now occupied wards.

"Shaaadupp!" One of the nurses shouted to the injured hunters. "Are you not Hunters but a bunch of sissies?"

This shout surprised Lu Ciel as well as the injured men and women which made the place quiet once more and a small noises of like a whimpering dog can be heard only.

'To think that there's this kind of nurse. I really am in a different world.' Lu Ciel can't help thought how different this world was. If a nurse has done this sort of action, the patients would instead revolt and the nurse would be fired right away.

"Here we go." Nurse Sofia opened the door to where Bogart was. Lu Ciel entered and he noticed that there are other patients in the room now together with the sleeping Bogart.

"He's better now." Nurse Sofia stated as pointed at the mud clay that's wrapping Bogart. "Thanks to the pill, the mud clay has been hastened from getting dry and absorbed by him. Later at night, the mud clay should break and tomorrow, he'll be as good as new."

Lu Ciel sighed in relief upon hearing this. "Can I leave some clothes for him here?"

"Of course!" Nurse Sofia strongly agreed. "That would be for the best as he will be butt naked from breaking out of his coccoon."

"Thanks." Lu Ciel took a set of clothes from his inventory as he asked Sofia, "Can you tell me more about the demons?"

"I'm sorry, Lu Ciel. I still have a lot of matters to attend to." Nurse Sofia can only shook his head in refusal.

"No, it's okay. I understand your current situation." Lu Ciel smiled politely as he slightly bowed in respect. "I'm sorry for thoughtlessly taking your time."

"It's alright." Nurse Sofia can't help but chuckle at how cute this young man can be. "How about later at night then after my shift? I'll be late though as there are lots of patients to handle."

"That would be perfect." Lu Ciel nodded in agreement. "I'm actually currently staying at the Training Area in the training room #4. If it's okay with you, we can talk about it in my place. Do you drink if you don't mind me asking?"

"Oh? I love the Jasmine Wine." Nurse Sofia looked at Lu Ciel in a meaningful manner as she replied, "I'll see you later then."

"Got it." Lu Ciel smiled back as well. "Jasmine Wine then."
