Trained to the Bones

Lu Ciel and Bogart dashed to meet the enemies head on as well upon seeing the Ant Soldiers were approaching.

"Bogart, use your Hammer Wave." When the two opposing faction was already in around a ten-meter distance, Lu Ciel commanded Bogart.

"Right away, young master." After hearing Lu Ciel's direction, Bogart, stepped his front foot very hard to the point that the ground slightly caved in and jump as high as he can reaching five meters as he smashed the ground with his Sabertusk Hammer causing it to quake, crack and split.

"Whew!" Seeing this, Ed Win can't help but exclaim their amazement and disgust as to how high-end the skill was. The Ed brothers can't help but feel envy at how wealthy these kids were.

"Use your Hammerricane right after." With the Soldier Ants being stunned, Lu Ciel provided another instruction as he used Berserk skill to himself and used all the functions of his Magic Silver equipment to raise his Strength and Agility.

"Got it." After hearing his young master's instruction, Bogart lifted his hammer once more. After lifting the hammer, the muscles on his forearms bulged as his grip on his hammer tightened and began spinning.

"Oi oii oiii!" Ed Ward can't help but be frightened at how insane the skills that these youngster have. So far, the skills that they had shown were Rare Class. He can't help but shout at the two, "Don't kill them right away!"

However, it was already too late. Two then three, then four Ant Soldiers died as Lu Ciel gave the finishing blows to the knocked back Soldier Ants.

"What kind of Support are you?" Ed Ward can't help but shout more in complaint. "Why are you acting like a Fighter? Stick to the plan! Stick to the plan!!"

Seeing that the Soldier Ants were slowly being demolished, the Knight Ants started to move as well to help and destroy the enemies. The Ant Prince that was just standing by though slowly faded as its hexagonal eyes shimmered in silver in the midst of the approaching Knight Ants.

"I guess it's time for us to move as well, brothers." Ed Win only smirked at these ants.

"Haha." In the mean time, Lu Ciel can't help but laugh in excitement as he leveled up into almost level five. "This is fun! How are you, Bogart?"

"I'm doing great, young master." Bogart replied feeling exhilarated as he smashed the back of his hammer to the incoming Ant Soldier. It was a critical hit as the sharp point of the hammer made a hole on the Soldier Ant's chest.

With another Soldier Ant died, Lu Ciel and Bogart leveled up to 5. Lu Ciel can't help but smile wryly about this as the ethereal Siri voice sounded.

With the tutorial mode ended, Lu Ciel felt more in control with his body.

With three Soldier Ants left, Lu Ciel can't help but smile as adrenaline was rushing inside of him. This was how he was actually ever since -- the more adrenaline rushed over him, the more focus he became and the wider his smile became.

"Bogart." Lu Ciel called out the attention of his young butler. "Let me handle the remaining Soldier Ants. You go learn coordination with the Ed brothers. I believe that is more important for you at this time."

"A-are you sure, young master?" Bogart can't but be surprised with what he heard from Lu Ciel. He knew that he does not have any attack skill hence he's worried on how he will handle these monsters.

"Don't worry, I have my own plan." Lu Ciel only smiled as he replied in confidence.

Seeing this, Bogart nodded as he complied to his young master's command, dashing through towards the incoming Knight Ants. "H-hey, brothers!"

"What are you doing here?" Ed Win questioned however moved fast as he saw a tentacle like swooshing through in front of Bogart. "Watch out!"

Seeing how fast the incoming object was flying towards his face, Bogart can't help but feel panic as he held his shield in front and curled his body to, as much as possible, be covered.

Ed Win was able to stop the tentacle's strike but another one followed up obliterate Bogart. However, Ed Red was able shot it with his arrow, deflecting Bogart's right side. After stopping and deflecting the assumed tentacles, the three found out that those were the Ant Queen's antlers.

"Why are you here, boy?" Ed Win asked once more as he looked at Lu Ciel in the distance handling the remaining Ant Soldiers.

"Young master wanted to practice his fighting skills." Bogart explained as he looked at Lu Ciel as well, working on his attack movements. "Seniors, please teach me more about battle coordination."

The Ed brothers were surprised with the attitude that the half-dwarf was showing. The two Ed brothers looked at each other in understanding as they looked at the incoming Knight Ants. "Follow our instructions, boy."

Hearing their approval, Bogart felt ecstatic as he nodded vigorously.

"Come on." Ed Win commanded as they dashed to confront the Knight Ants. "We will teach how rotation tactic works."

"Block the Knight Ant on the left side." Ed Win commanded Bogart as he parried the attacks of the two Knight Ants using his dual scimitar.

While the other two Knight Ants were coming behind from the ones that Ed Win blocked, Ed Red who was used to their teamwork parried the attack of the Knight Ant on the right side. Seeing this in a split second, Bogart understood the command right away as he used Shield Bash to block the Knight Ant that was coming from the left side. "Got it!"

"Good!" Ed Win praised. "Now, rotate! Keep the Knight Ant on the right side occupied."

"Alright." Bogart retracted his shield as he ran fast to the Knight Ant that Ed Red let loose for him to attack the stunned Knight Ant that Bogart shield bashed.

As Ed Red attacked the stunned Knight Ant, he purposely not one-hit kill it to let the Ant Queen spawn an Ant Soldier first.

"Do you understand how it works now, boy?" Ed Win asked Bogart, smirking, as he kept blocking the two Knight Ants.

"Yes!" Bogart can't help but be amazed at how easy yet effective this tactic was despite struggling on keeping a Knight Ant in check.

"This tactic is actually effective to monsters stronger than you." Ed Win advised. "Now let's practice until our coordination becomes fluid!"

"Roger!" Bogart answered in full spirit.

"You good here, boy?" Ed Ward suddenly appeared in the distance where a young man was pushed back when he parried the attack of an Ant Soldier.

"I'm. Haa.. Ha. better!" Lu Ciel answered as he panted from catching up on his breathe.

"You seem to be enjoying what you're doing?" Ed Win smirked as he cast a spell which bind a humanoid figure that was lurking in the distance.

Realizing that while he was enjoying fighting the Soldier Ants, Lu Ciel can't help but be astounded that the Ant Prince was actually just in the vicinity waiting for a right moment to attack him. To think that he did not notice this monster..this doused some of the adrenaline that was rushing in his body. There's a possibility that he would died back there.

"I owe you one. Thank you." Lu Ciel thanked Ed Win sincerely while at the same time, he can't help but be angry with himself about it. He felt like he was the weakest link in the party instead.

"Haha!." Ed Win kicked the humanoid figure to be blasted away from Lu Ciel and the Ant Soldier. "I'll hold this ant for you, boy. Don't go dying while at it."

Lu Ciel only nodded silently as Ed Win left him to chase the Ant Prince. Feeling dissatisfied with himself, he faced the three Ant Soldier once more as an egg dropped down beside. This egg cracked and a fourth Ant Soldier appeared.

"Nice!" Ed Win exclaimed. "The Ant Queen finally used its Spawn skill."

"Does that mean we can finally kill one of these Knight Ants?" Bogart can't help but ask as he was struggling to hold down one of the four Knight Ants.

"Yes." Ed Win smiled as the Knight Ant's head that was badly damaged earlier fell away from its body.

"Rotate." Ed Win commanded as he backed off from holding down the two knight ants. Hearing this word as well made Bogart instinctually do what Ed Win did.

"Why are we doing it this way?" After getting a breather, Bogart can't help but complain. "I really can't find meaning to this!"

"Haha!" Ed Win can't help but laugh at how miserable was Bogart becoming. "You still have a lot of energy within you, eh?

Hearing this, Ed Red can't help but smirk. "Let's change the pace faster."

"That's a good idea!" Hearing his brother's suggestion, Ed Win's eyes lit up as he agreed with it. "Don't slack now, boy! You better follow our pace."

Hearing this, Bogart can't help but wanting to cry as he followed the two maniacs from holding down the three Knight Ants.

"Rotate!" Ed Win commanded once more as he cackled in joy. "We'll train you down to your bones, boy!"
