First fight

In a certain part of the forest, there was an area that every monster/animal of this world didn't go to because they valued their life enough.

This area seemed peaceful and armless to the normal eye, but only by being observant would you discover the corpses of the ones that dared to go near these glowing flowers. The mist they produced put to sleep even the most fierce beast in the forest with ease, but something unique was happening one of the corpses began moving.

|Aiden POV|

I opened my eyes as I observed what was in front of me, the blue sky, I was confused about where I was, so I sat down, and began to search my surrounding with my gaze.

It came to me everything that happened, me being hunted and the fear it gave me, only able to run away without any escape or hope to fight back, yes, I escaped but at what cost?

I looked at my left arm or where it was supposed to be, there was nothing, my arm was gone. The feeling of losing something you had your entire life struck me like a truck as the pain also did.

Tears began to fall from my eyes as I remembered the hopelessness I was in, I hated this feeling.

I got up and began my daily routine even though it wasn't the place nor the time to do so, it helped me deal with my feelings, even though it made me remember my injury more because I couldn't do some of my daily exercises.

After this, I began walking around, hatred overwhelmed my being as I noticed the bodies of my predators.

I approached their corpses and dragged them to the middle of the flower zone, I was getting hungry, and since their skin was too hard for me to cut I had to wait for them to decompose.

When their skin was less durable I tore through it and used the claw I had gained previously to aid me.

After eating the disgusting raw meat I continued to train since I had weeks worth of food I didn't bother going hunting and I began training seriously for the first time I came here, if I wanted to survive I needed the strength.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

And like that weeks passed of Aiden only eating, training, and getting water to a nearby lake.

Aiden's strength rose fast for the past few weeks, without him knowing he was already past the human limit of body potential, not by much, but he was certain he could kill the monsters that almost killed him.

Aiden could go at a speed of around 64Mph

for 15 minutes, and lift pretty heavy stuff.

But not all things were great as Aiden's injury was infected, green stuff was covering his injury.

He couldn't do much about it as he wasn't a doctor he didn't know much about infections or anything medical-related, the only thing he could do was clean it every day in clear water.

Something bothered Aiden's mind for a while.

Why didn't I get dizzy or why didn't I die?

normally when one is in the flower zone for too long they enter a deep sleep state because of the drug-like mist the flowers were making.

Not that it mattered anyway. If he could stay here without consequence it would save him alot of time, and effort, so he took it as a positive thing.

Aiden prepared to go out for a hunt he wanted to kill these f***ers so bad, he simply wanted to exterminate them. The race of the ones that took his whole arm off, he was going to pay them back tenfold the pain he felt, no mercy will be given. Aiden also wanted to test how strong he became.

Aiden began crafting a new spear with the claw he had, attaching it to the base of the spear with some kind of elastic and durable plant.

Once he was ready, he got out of his new home and began looking for the same race of monsters that tried to kill him. He found alot of different creatures but no sign of them, so he attacked a creature that looked like a werewolf by thrusting his speak forward to its chest.

The werewolf lookalike immediately reacted by dodging to the left, looking at its attacker it tried to slash him to death with it's claws.

Aiden wasn't proficient in combat because he simply never fought but he still reacted, he moved his head to his left dodging the creature's attack.

Aiden took the chance as the werewolf was too close, he used his right hand and aligned the back of the spear with his arm, and turned his body completely to the left, smacking the back of the spear on the belly of the poor creature. Aiden followed with another strike as he turned back to his pained enemy, making a 360°, with the front side of his spear thrusting toward the creature's stomach piercing through it.

The werewolf had no time to block, it's balance was still broken from the previous strike. Even though the strength behind it was weak to it, the belly is still a very sensible place for most creatures.

After the blade of the spear tore through it's belly, it looked at Aiden with rage as it tried to strike him once again.

Aiden who was already prepared for such development interrupted its attempt of attack by turning on himself looking the opposite direction, taking hold of the spear the other way, laying the middle of the spear on his shoulder only to put his weight on the back of the spear making it point the ground.

By making this action the front side of the spear which is where the blade is, tore through

it's belly and kept tearing its flesh going up to its chest and finally, its head, almost slashing the creature in half.

The standing corpse fell to the ground with a solid sound marking Aiden's first victory.
