Wren carefully picked up the sphere and placed it inside his space pouch. His nose was still dripping and his throat was sore. Sniffling he glanced at the cube.

"Wren..." Feng hugged him. "How do you feel now..."

"Happy that I was loved, sad that I missed their presence in my life, anxious that I might fail them somehow, and determined that I will one day reach my father," he said nodding to himself.

"Aw, that's the spirit. My mate is the best,"
