Chapter 24: One Big Happy Family

"Good morning Dadda!" Sunny quickly went to where her Dadda Andrew was. I just laughed at the way she let go of me to go to her Dadda.

"Good morning princess!" Drew greeted her warmly back. While smiling, he also picked up Sunny and kissed her on the cheek. It's fun to watch them squirm. It seems like a very beautiful scene I am looking at now, and the scene I am looking at now conveys an indescribable pleasure to my heart.

"So, you're a momma now, huh? Take note, your daughter is very beautiful and kind. She inherit from you," Mama commented smiling as she watched Sunny and Drew squirm.

"Good morning, Mom." I kissed Mama on the cheek then gave her a tight hug.

"Hays. My daughter is really still very sweet to this day." Mom smiled. I just laughed at Mama.

"Mom, thank you." I suddenly said. Mom frowned.

"Thank you for what?" She asked confused. I laughed slightly before I answered.

"Thank you for bringing me to this world. If it weren't for you, I probably wouldn't be experiencing it all. Having a very beautiful and very good daughter—as you said."

"You're really are!" Mom beat me a little for what I said. Mama looks like a teenager who is thrilled. I just laughed and hugged her again.

"Knock Knock!" Mama and I looked at the source of the voice outside the door. My eyes widened when I saw Michelle there, my bestfriend!

"Mich!" I quickly approached her and greeted her with a hug.

"Come on, come in." I continued her inside.

"I'm contributing to you!" She sighed and said that she could finally enter the house.

"How many days have you been without a clue! Am I really your bestfriend?" She said like a child. I barely laughed at what she was doing now.

"This one, don't sulk anymore." I scolded her. She crossed her arms and seemed to be thinking hard about whether she would get upset or not.

"Hmm ... all right." We both laughed at what she said.

"Hi hija." Mama greeted her with a smile. Michelle's eyes suddenly widened and her mouth opened slightly when she saw Mama.

"Dra. Agustin?" Mom nodded at her.

"W-why are you here?" Suddenly mama came over and took my hand.

"She's my daughter." Mom said smiling. I smiled to Michelle.

"Oh my God!" She was caught in her senses. Probably because she couldn't believe it.

"The world is really small. Do you really think that Sydney is the child you've been looking for, for a long time? God!" Mom suddenly hugged us.

"Dra. I'm happy for you. I'm happy for you and Doc Agustin." She added.

"Thank you hija."

"Michelle," Drew whispered to Sunny as they approached us.

"Are they Mom and Dad?" Drew asked Michelle curiously when he couldn't see his parents.

"Good morning everyone!" At the same time, we looked at Dad, who had just woken up. He was still rubbing his eyes as he walked down the stairs.

"Good morning Honey!" Mama is now close to Papa and has given him a morning kiss.

"Good morning Dr. Agustin!" Mich greeted Papa warmly.

"Brother who is she? Is she Sydney's little sister?" Drew looked at me. I just smiled at him. Drew and I talked about introducing Sunny to his family side for breakfast this morning, so Mama and Papa invited Drew's family to have breakfast at home.

"By the way, they're Mom and Dad, they seem to be next. They just passed by." Drew just nodded at what Michelle said.

"Breakfast is ready!" Grace said happily that she was still wearing an apron and she was also holding a spoon.

"Who told you, you can work now, Grace?" I asked her as I raised my brows. This kid really is! I told her not to force herself into working, especially since her wound was still not healed ... but here, she was working right away.

"I'm sorry ma'am! I didn't really work, I just looked at Manang Fe...didn't I?" She actually even kicked the butler here at home.

"Oh my gosh!" I'm just reluctant to say that. She immediately signed peace with me.

"All right, let's go to the dining area. I'll just wait here in the living room for Madam Helen and Chairman Alfred." Papa agreed with what mama said so we went to the dining area first.

"I'll be the one who will feed Sunny." Grace volunteered, but I refused.

"Not anymore Grace. Just sit there, you'll eat with us." I told her.

"W-what? But it's a family breakfast— "

"You're part of the family, Grace. I'm very grateful to you." I interrupted her as she spoke.

"You're so kind ma'am."

"What year are you in?" I asked her. She was embarrassed to look into my eyes.

"Freshman," she replied.

"Really? Wow. I've decided to send you to a university since you were still young. If you want, I'll join you to enroll at the nearest University this coming second sem?"

"Really ma'am Sydney?" I nodded at her.

"Thank you! Thank you so much."

"You're always welcome. Besides, you're a sister to me."

"I'm proud of you." I looked down at Drew sitting next to me.

"I'm falling for you harder each day." He added that it caused a strange sensation in my body.

"Have you two gotten back together yet?" Michelle suddenly groaned. Drew and I looked at each other and at the same time laughed at Michelle's question.

"Do we still need to get back together? As I get remember, we haven't separated." Drew sighed.

"We did separated!" I object to what he said.

"Michelle was there when we last met. Now I'm going to ask you Michelle, did Sydney break up with me?" Michelle laughed and shook her head at her older brother's question.

"See? We didn't separated."

"Okay, fine." I agreed laughing. After all, they agreed with me again.

"You're so cute baby. What's your name?" Suddenly Mich's attention went to Sunny.

"Thank you. My name is Sunny Andrea Agustin." Sunny's polite reply to her aunt Michelle.

"Aww. Sydney your sister is really cute...how I wish I had a sister like her." I just smiled at Michelle. She's really thinking that Sunny is my sister. Well, just wait, and soon you will also know that she is your niece.

"Hey there everyone!" At once we were distracted by the appearance of a beautiful woman. She's just the same age as Mom, I guess?

"Mom!" Suddenly Drew stood up to greet his Mom. So, she's Andrew's mom? I just met her now.

"Hi."

"Gab!" Michelle was suddenly stunned by Gab's arrival. Drew and I looked at each other and both smiled.

"Thank you for coming Gab!" I said.

"You can sit there, next to Mich." I said seriously. I didn't smile or laugh at all, because Michelle might think I was setting her up. Even though that's exactly what I am doing. Gab followed what I said. He sat down next to Michelle. But Mich moved slightly slowly next to Grace.

"For you..." We all thought of Gab. We are also waiting for Michelle to receive the flower that Gab is handing to her.

"What's that for? I'm not in pain, let alone to Dra. Or you should reach out to Sydney...because they invited you here." She said sarcastically. We were almost all amazed at what Michelle said.

"Michelle hija, accept that. Maybe later he'll change his mind and give it to her secretary in the office..." Aunt Helen, Drew's mom, said suddenly, so I laughed a little.

"Is this really for me? You're not sick?" Suddenly the dining room table was filled with laughter at Mich's second question to Gab. Gab was just shaken.

"It's really for you."

"Really? Then, thank you." She said pouting.

"You're welcome." Gab winked at her at the same time. After that moment they had all the food served on the table.

"So, let's eat?" It's mom.

"Just wait! Let's pray first, before eating." All their attention went to Sunny. They nodded in agreement with what my daughter said.

"You lead the prayer baby." Dad told Sunny that. Sunny accepted that with a smile.

"Let's close our eyes." We followed what Sunny said. We simultaneously closed our eyes and folded our hands.

"Papa God, thank you for these foods on the table. Thank you for all your blessings. Thank you also because my family is complete! Thank you for the smiles we all have here. I hope you always bless us every day, and I hope we can all be satisfied with the foods here. Amen."

"You're so cute baby girl." Drew's Mom said while looking at Sunny.

"Thank you." My daughter's humble answer. After we prayed we all ate well.

"I'm happy for you Dra. You already found your daughter." Drew's mom said.

"Thank you, Madam." Mama replied smiling.

"I remember you hija. You were the one who went home then, weren't you? To personally hand me the papers I need to sign?" I nodded to chairman Alfred.

"Yes, Dad. I ordered her to do that." Michelle replied with a smile.

"You really think so? The world is really very small." He added before it exploded again.

"By the way son," Andrew stopped chewing and looked at his mom who had just finished drinking water.

"What is it important that you're gonna tell us?" She asked.

Suddenly I felt a tremor in my chest. Drew took my hand and lifted it, as we held hands.

"We're in a relationship." Drew announced to them.

"I already knew that!" Michelle's comment was laughable.

"Really? Wow. Congrats son!" "Since when?" His Dad.

"Actually, it was a long time six years ago. We just broke up because of an unexpected event. Now that the barrier is over with us, we'll move on again." Drew said passionately. I breathed a sigh of relief because I saw no resistance in the eyes of Drew's parents. Even if Mom and Dad know, Drew and I have an okay relationship.

"Also—Sunny is our daughter." Drew took Sunny from her chair and sat her on his lap. Michelle let go of the spoon and fork she was holding. She was also slightly taken aback by what she heard.

"Really brother? That cutie angel is my niece? Oh my God!"

"W-we have a grandchild Sweetheart!" Andrew's mom said tearfully. They both hugged as they seemed to cry at what they heard.

"Congrats son! Congrats hija!" They greeted Drew and me. Michelle immediately stood up and approached Sunny to give her a hug.

"God! I can't believe it! You're my niece. You're so cute baby Sunny!" She kissed her all over her face. My daughter just laughed heartily as her aunt Michelle teased her.

"Hello to my nice granddaughter. Give mamita a hug!" Sunny immediately hugged her. Aunt Helen was even surprised when she kissed my daughter on the cheek.

"You're so sweet too. I love you my grandchild." She also hugged Sunny and kissed her on the cheek.

When we finally finished eating, we all immediately went to the living room to continue the conversation. While our parents were happily chatting, Drew and I also had our own moment. Sunny is with her aunt Michelle and uncle Gabriel.

"Who would have thought that we would end up like this? Happy, whole, and alone." Suddenly Drew took my hand and kissed it.

"Sydney, thank you. Thank you so much because even many years have passed...you didn't change me for that—in your heart. Even as you know I cheated on you and exchanged you for someone else."

"That's really how it is, isn't it? Once you're in love with someone...no matter how hurt you are, still your feelings won't change. Like me, I totally thought you cheated on me. I promised myself that I will hate you forever for what you did, but when I see you? I am like an ice that is slowly melting when you are there..." I said for a long time before I gently touched his face. I pressed my ear to Drew's chest, and I could hear his heart beating very fast. Just like my heartbeat.

"I love you." I said sweetly to him before I touched him with a kiss on his lips.

"I love you more." He responded and passionately returned to me the many kisses I had bestowed on him.

"Momma, Dadda what are you two doing?" Drew and I were suddenly stunned by what we were doing when Sunny suddenly appeared. I was immediately touched by my lips. I just laughed at Sunny's question.

"They're making your baby brother." Gab says laughing, that was the reason for Drew's swearing.

"Robles!" He shouted loudly at his friend. I was just surprised when Gab suddenly disappeared in front of us.

"Really, momma? I already have a baby brother?" Sunny seemed excited.

"Uncle Gabriel is just kidding baby." I explained to her. She nodded as if she understood what I said.

"I want baby brother, momma!" At the same time Drew and I widened our eyes at what Sunny said.

"Because I'm a big girl, so I want a baby brother and he'll calls me big sister! Maybe it's fun having a little brother, isn't it Dadda?"

Drew and I remained silent to what our daughter said.
