What if, that same game developer showed up 5 years later, and released the world's first Full-Dive VRMMORPG on the day it reentered the gaming scene?

Would you trust a technology that links directly into your neural system? Would you trust a company that randomly disappeared off the face of the earth, Then magically appeared 5 years later, with a gaming platform that’s supposed to change gaming as we know it. 

Well, you might not, but Lukas already has his sights set on this mysterious new game. After dying 10 years into the future, to a bullet he never heard fired, he has somehow been transported back in time to the day before the game was released.

Will he prevent his death at the hands of his mysterious killer? Will he be able to climb to the top of the leaderboards that he once stood at the bottom of? Will he be able to finally meet the girl that was so far out of his reach that she didn’t even know he existed?

All of these questions and more will be answered in the vast world of “Proelium Online!”

Unbeknownst to Lukas, notifications started popping up in his eyes, but with his eyes closed he couldn't see them. He heard a few dings as they popped up, but he paid them no mind since he had no idea what was going on with him.

When Lukas opened his eyes again he was laying on his bed in his rundown studio apartment. His head felt like it was hit by an 18-wheeler, but other than that he felt fine. He closed his eyes again quickly and opened them again to make sure he wasn't seeing things and sat up. The sun was lighting up the apartment through the three windows he had that faced the rest of the city. 'Maybe it was all some bad dream.' He thought, shaking his head gently. 'Yeah, that's all it was.' 


He was about to get off his bed when in the bottom right of his vision he noticed something odd. A little blue exclamation point bubble with a smaller red 5 above it, kind of like a notification bubble on an iPhone, just like the one from Proelium Online. "What the shit!?" He exclaimed out loud before moving backwards in surprise and falling off the back side of the bed. 


'Owwww…. Owww… owwwww' He sat up slowly rubbing his head and now noticed a little green bar and little blue bar in the top left of his sight. The blue bar was completely full, while the green bar had a small sliver missing from it. 'There's no fuckin way.'


Lukas stood up slowly, and looked around the room, and everywhere he looked the little bars and the exclamation point followed him. 'This is so weird. What the hell is going on with me?' He kept looking around for a minute before finally calming himself down a bit. 'Okay, first things first. Let's take a quick shower. Calm myself down a bit, and then we'll revisit this thing.' 


Lukas walked over to the bathroom, and proceeded to turn the shower on the same way he had for the past decade. Lukas' eyes widened a bit in surprise as he felt the heat coming off the water just a few seconds after he turned it on. 'Hrm. I guess they fixed the water heater.' He brushed it off and thought nothing of it as he undressed. As he did he gasped in surprise. 'Why does my body look so good? I look like I'm 20 years old again…. there's no way…' Lukas yook a couple steps backwards and wiped the steam away from the mirror. "WHAT THE FUCK!?"
