My First And Only

I got up and placed her hands on her side. Leaving her sleeping soundly. 


I exited the room and then made my way to Celest's palace to greet the king. Whom was about to declare war on the Rena kingdom. They had been preparing for the day we returned to start the war.


"I let her sleep a little longer. She doesn't need to be here anyway. I'm not letting her participate in the war." I saw the king flinch at what I said. 


"That's too bad. She really likes to fight so she might've enjoyed this." Everyone but me and Celest were in uniform. Even the king had put on his military garb. 


The king went ahead and did his before war speech and the army yelled back in agreement.
