Regret

"The carriage is uncomfortable!" Said Celyce.

"Princess, please bear with it until we get there." Viv responded.

"I don't wanna!" Celyce stood up and stomped her feet.

"Please, princess, we're almost there." Said Avsi.

It's been a week and I feel the same way that Celyce does. I want to leave the carriage. We haven't slept well for a week and have been riding the carriage nonstop.

"Mom!" Celyce jumped on Cera and asked to be held.

To be honest, I wanted to do the same. I hated riding carriages.

"We're almost there, sweetie. I'll hold you until we get there, okay?"

Celyce looked at her with a happy look on her face and eventually fell asleep in her arms.

I leaned on the side of the carriage and placed my head near the window.

"I hate carriages."

"Why's it so far?" I kept protesting.

"My lady, it's not too bad. You get to spend time with your wife and your daughter. Isn't it a great opportunity for that?" said Avsi.
