Hiding Something

Feline walked inside the room, the coldness drifting around her arms. She clasped both of her hands together as the nurse motioned at the corner of the clinic. Feline bowed down her head, saying her gratitude upon taking care of him for an hour. The nurse smiled back.

Feline bit her bottom lip. She swept the curtains at the side, seeing Sean's head elevated by the bed. His eyes were open, but it was not soft as she could see. Feline got astonished with his glare. He placed his hand on his abdomen, with the IV connected in his veins.

Feline breathed a sigh of relief. She placed her hands on her chest, saying to herself she should have felt relieved. Feline asked, "Are you okay? Someone reported what happened to you, so I ran over here."
