Takeoff

"I'm sorry. It was this only time I burst out of my shell and confess it to you." He never wanted it to happen. He never wanted to burst out his heart and tumble at those words. Louie might resent himself later, if Friya turned her heel around and dismiss the knowledge about her feelings. She stared at him with a glint present in her eyes. 

The sun had risen from the east, and it now warmed their feet on the lawn. Still, Friya felt a chill down her spine, and she couldn't move an inch. She took a step back once again, trying not to trip her feet. Friya sighed, answering, "Louie, I didn't expect for you to say those words, but I... didn't notice..." 

Or she was just turning a blind eye to what he really felt. Whenever Louie was around, she seen him as her friend. Someone she could lean on the moment her dog passed away, or when she failed to take an exam the day before their finals... Louie witnessed all of that before Sean even came into the picture.
