A Distance Between Us

***

Monday.

Honorifics became significant to Friya nowadays. Especially if she's around Sean. She never wanted to call her as Mr., but she guessed she has to do so.

Sean cleared his throat, glancing down, muttering, "What happened at the cafe last time..."

Friya urged for him to continue. It must be what happened, and he came early to apologize. He was skeptical at first, to say that he's sorry for being nosy. Being curious will kill you, for starters, but Sean only wanted to steer clear of any gossip arising in his mind. It must be fake, isn't it?

Sean cleared his throat, uttering, "I'm sorry if I ask you those questions, Ms. Friya. What we talked about in the cafe, I should forget all of that."
