Watching the sky and a sign

With the arrival of the morning and both awake I agreed with rock, paper and scissors that the loser would make breakfast and the first time I lost, with the laughter of both I agreed and went downstairs to make a great breakfast, I raised everything little by little like a waitress and after serving the food of the cat and the dog I washed my hands and raised the drinks.

Alejandro had both phones in case they called us, although it made me a little uncomfortable I thanked him, after the big sandwiches filled to the top with ham, white and yellow cheese, mortadella, lettuce, sauce and mayonnaise and a full and cold orange juice we watched everything and after eating and bringing everything downstairs I got a surprise.

Both of our phones had rang and when we went upstairs Alejandro told me about it, although I decided to check it out anyway, the carnivorous flyers had returned and we had to be alert, with the radio we informed both leaders that we had received the order.

Alejandro looked for the weapons and some things that would be useful to us, I looked everywhere until I told him that I had seen only one, he loaded the gun and with a telescopic sight I aimed and shot, the fall of the bird reminded me of an airplane that makes several turns and its beak hit the lake that we had in front of the building.

We could have used a bait, but I also had a mini megalodon with 4 legs that the meat drove him crazy and more of a dinosaur, in the same way there was a fragrance that could make them fall into a trap, with a dart and a single drop was more than useful, after having another one I shot and seeing it close I gave the signal to Alejandro.

After 5 hours we had taken down 5 out of 7 of them and while I took a break he kept watch, my cell phone rang again alerting me of an email, my astonished face was bigger when I read the first lines *God bless you my daughter*.

I ran downstairs without caring how tired I was a little while ago, I connected the computer and turned it on, after a few minutes I opened the portal to go to my mail, a letter from mom and dad had made me almost cry, both were more than well and were in Australia with the rest of the family; knowing that made my heart come back to life, I copied them with a summary of where I had arrived, that I arrived well and what happened, so I decided to ask for Hector and wait.

I knew I would not get an answer right away, but I had already formulated my doubt, knowing that they were there calmed me down and knowing that everyone was alive even more.

For the first time in my life, I was thankful that despite the shitty things I was going through these days with all this chaos, a ray of light had protected my family and kept them together, knowing that my pillar was stable and strong gave me more encouragement to continue to be stronger and someday be reunited with them.

After disconnecting everything I went back upstairs, Alejandro did not say anything but I knew why, I thanked him because for the first time I was without questions and challenges and he respected my personal and emotional space.
