My Gratitude

Chika could only be silent when she heard Ethan's answer, it seemed that the man had already made up his mind. The man also turned out to be stubborn unlike Chika thought, so telling him to leave seemed like a waste of time, though Chika still felt that Ethan deserved to be happier.

Chika sighed again when she heard Ethan's question and saw the man looking at her like a kitten who was dumped by someone else and begging to be brought home.

How could she refuse the child?

"Yes, but don't torture yourself," Chika said slowly at last.

Ethan immediately smiled broadly when he heard that.

He didn't get fired as a son-in-law!

"Okay mama, you can be rest assured. I will try hard! I won't let mama down," Ethan said confidently.

Chika slowly smiled when she saw Ethan become excited again.
